The crawfish bisque is unequal. That you’d have to go to Lafayette to fund anything close is the truth. The pizzas are great. I like the Italian sausage. It’s not processed like you get from the chains. Add in some pepperoni and beef and you get a great flavor. At night, you can listen to the local artists entertain you.

The best pizza in the area. My only problem with them is the price.

Been numerous times and it’s always good! I recommend the crawfish bisque! It’s amazing on a cold winter day! Pizza is always very good as well. Great beer selection. Make sure you save room for dessert! The bread pudding is some of the best that I have had!

Stopped by for dinner while on vacation. The place was busy and had to wait 15 min for a table for 6. We ordered 10pc wings, kid cheese pizza and a custom 16″ pizza. Both pizzas were good. The wings were just fair at best. There was only one flavor to choose from which was basically mild. We tried the brownie dessert which was very good. Overall we enjoyed most of our food. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant. I would recommend the pizza and brownie, just not the wings.

Fantastic everything. Food was outstanding. Great atmosphere speedy service by people who seem to like their jobs and know their stuff. A bit pricey on food not drinks but hands down best chili cheese nachos anywhere!

Soulshine is always a fun place to eat. The service is always wonderful and the pizza too. I love the muffuletta and Caesar salad! I have no complains. The personal pizzas are the perfect size for one personal, for me at least!

Ewhhhhhhhh. We were traveling thru Jackson and wanted to grab a bite to eat. Soulshine was highly recommended by a few locals so that’s where we went. The service was great so this isn’t an indication of tithe waitresses efforts. I left a $ 10 tip on our $ 40 bill, so don’t hold it against the employees. We started with the wings. They are probably frozen. They suck. No flavor, the wing bones broke off in my mouth. I want to emphasize that there was no flavor. None. Zero. When recommended, my friend told me to get the Alfredo pizza. So I did. It was very bland and boring. So gross. We ordered some marinara to add some flavor, it didn’t help. It may be better at other times but it wasn’t great today.

At Souls shine PIZZA factory with out of town guests but I have to say that I am somewhat dissapointed. Spaghetti and meatballs was cold. So we sent that back and got the Red Beans and rice which was good. But they attempted to serve the same bread that was with the spaghetti. Really disappointed on this occasion.. Soul Shine has lost a step. Not the quality of food I have enjoyed in the past.

Creamy Crawfish soup? Mistake … Only because I got a cup and not the bowl. Excellent soup! Pizza choices– if they don’t have it, you didn’t want it. Service was great.

Tamales where a great appetizer! I had the fish of the sea pizza and it was ok, very fishy but Alfredo sauce was good! The guys got the Bob Marley and loved it! Cool atmosphere, lots of beer choices, and plenty of football on TV!

We’ve been here several times without issue until tonight. We had a simple order, just two calzones, and had about an hour wait, and the food came out tasteless and dripping with grease. The service as also sub-par. Our waitress was absent, and we had to ask another worker for drink refills during our long wait, and of the two times we did see our waitress she seemed upset. Overall a disappointing experience. The only memorable part of our experience was the music, with a fantastic artist. That being said, we probably won’t be back unless the standards go up.

Went on a Sunday and ordered a pizza along with one of the sandwiches. I got the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced in my life! I was the only one in my party that ate the sandwich, so I am assuming that’s what did it.

Love the atmosphere. Went on a Monday night, it was very quiet, so the service was awesome. Nice jazzy music playing in the background. I had the basic garlic cheese bread. It was a flatbread; like a little pizza. Very good. My friend had cheese bread with alfredo sauce and crawfish. Not my style, but she liked it. We gad the Wild Bill pizza for dinner. It was fantastic! Grilled chicken and pulled chicken on a bed of buffalo sauce and garlic ranch sauce. This pizza was the bomb! The buffalo sauce had a little kick, but it did not overwhelm the pizza. It was the perfect balance. Finished dinner with the Slap Yo Mamma bread pudding.(Don’t judge, I took a lot of pizza home) Gotta have the bread pudding. Oh yeah. The drinks come in mason jars.

This is always one of my fav places to go with my family when I’m home. I’ll admit that I was disappointed that they took my fav nachos off the menu(they had shrimp and andouille sausage). GETTHENACHOS! They make the chips with pizza dough or something. Love them! The only thing I’m not a fan of is the spaghetti. Pizza Shack is another strong contender in the area, but if you’re on the Madison side, this is your best bet.

Remember that old college pizza place you used to hit up weekly because it was just good? That’s this place minus all the grease. The atmosphere is wide open and welcoming. Enough tv’s to keep track of a game. Service was friendly. House salad was good. Pizza was good. Had wheat crust and a bunch of meat. As I mentioned, no so greasy. It was tasty. Not the best ever but pretty darn good. Prices were higher than your typical chain. I think the large meat pizza was north of $ 22 so not a place for budget conscious folks.

Soulshine is great. Everything is good here. We love the Caesar salad, all the pizzas and especially the sauteed shrimp Poboy. I would argue it is the best Poboy in Jackson. The bread is flaky and toasted perfectly like a New Orleans style poboy should be. Love it. You can’t go wrong at Soulshine.
