Sunset Pizzeria

Great food, but terrible service. I sat at the bar. The bartender took my drink order, but that was it. I had to ask her to give me a menu. Then I had to practically yell that I was ready to order before she took my order. After I got my food, she never checked on me once. I could have used a drink refill, but I didn’t want to have to yell to get her attention again. She never gave me the check and I finally got tired of waiting and just left cash on the bar and left.

The pizza and wings are great here! This is a place I highly recommend for an easy dinner. Most of the time they say it will take around forty-​five minutes to an hour for the delivery, but in all reality it only takes twenty-​five minutes to an hour.

In town for business and wanted to order in. Food was good and if you don’t order the garlic knots, you are crazy. When I ordered, they warned me it would be a wait. Driver called looking for directions which worried me a bit. He showed up quickly after the call and the food was very good. Still hot and the driver was more than polite and apologized for the delay (which I already was warned about when I placed the order). I would order again when in town.

First of all, this is a pizzeria that’s attached to a bar. That means you get 2 menus when you come in and you can order from both. One menu will mostly be pizzas and Italian food, the other menu will be sandwiches and other American food. I have to say that their version of Outback’s «blooming onion» is superior to the original. The sauce is better and it tastes less greasy that Outback’s.
My favorite things to get are the cheesy fries, the blooming onion copycat, and any pizza. However, lately, I’ve enjoyed creating my pizza slice with spinach, chicken and feta. I think I’ve tried their club sandwich before and it wasn’t really too memorable. Definitely go for the pizza, which you can get regular or thin crust.
Since part of it is a bar, there is smoking on one side (left) and no smoking on the other (right). The pizzeria side (right) is kid friendly, as I’ve seen many families come and eat here with their young ones. There’s also a patio area for people to eat outside when it’s a nice day/​night out.
It’s a great place to get a pizza or just sit at the bar and relax and watch tv. They have a great selection of shooters and cocktails too. I’ve included a picture. So yummy. The pizza slices are huge, like the size of 2 normal slices. And I know on Fridays, there is even live music, probably the whole weekend too. It’s a great place to go if you are heading home to Bluffton from Beaufort, stop by and grab a pizza, the family will love it and you.

Great pizza, I lived across the highway from Sunset and used to go there all the time. Typical pizzaria inside, but just great pizza.
