As someone who lives in Baltimore county, I love finding places around the state that are outdoor oasis and this is one of those places!
Not only is the facility amazing but they provide programming that is equally as engaging and interactive as the location itself.
The arboretum is tucked in to the woods so be prepared to bring bug spray and a picnic lunch!

A very relaxing place to hike and enjoy nature! It’s out of the ways a bit, but worth the drive.

A very beautiful that is designed to showcase the many varied plants and vegetation of the large Delmarva peninsula. The grounds are tastefully landscaped by master gardeners and landscapers and there are a large variety of hiking trails that You could explore as well. Interesting visitors center! :)
