New management changed it to Mexican restaurant. They have some torta and cemita menu such as alambre, torta loca, pambazo, which aren’t usually available elsewhere.

Came in on a workday morning:
Empty store, rude owner. Wouldn’t accept my coins for a sandwich, even though total order was only a few dollars.
There are a lot of places I can go that accept my legal tender. If you don’t take credit card, but don’t want to deal with coins… I won’t be back.

TLDR: Deceitful, and rude; best to avoid.
I came in during a regular weekday morning after seeing the sign for a $ 2.50 Bacon, Egg and Cheese. The store was empty with the owner sitting alone at a table.
Issues:
1) Store front window says $ 2.50 for Bacon, Egg, Cheese but owner then says its actually $ 3.00, for students.
2) I only had change on me, which IS LEGAL TENDER, which the owner started to count but gave up on ¾th of the way through. (I can only guess that the arithmetic was becoming too difficult to keep track of.)
I would avoid this place, the owner is rude even to the point of refusing a sale because counting coins is difficult even when the store is empty.
