A delightful find in Ridgewood! Love the atmosphere and lay out of this place, especially the outdoor seating in the back. Started off with the«queens gimlet» which was quickly brought to our table, and was poured with just the right amount of gin. The fresh cucumbers and mint gave it a really refreshing taste on a hot May day. Proceeded to order the Beet Salad and the Lamb burger with goat cheese. The salad came out timely and was served especially cold, which is how I personally love my salads served. The quinoa, goat cheese and beet mixture over the mound of greens was a surprisingly delicious, texture I have never experienced before — highly recommended. The burger came out soon after I finished my salad and my dish was taken away. It was served on a huge toasted English muffin, with a large lamb patty and a generous mound of goat cheese, onion, lettuce and tomato. It was perfectly cooked and extremely juicy, one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while to be honest. THEFRENCHFRIESAREINCREDIBLE, I couldn’t not stop eating them! The service, food and atmosphere were all really great and I will definitely be going back very soon.

This is a hard review to write. The first couple of times we went there, it seemed to be great — the meals we had were delicious, the service was great, and it seemed to be picking up. The only complaint I had after my first two visits there was it’s too cold to sit near the back patio! But the last time in particular, the service was slow and inattentive, as we had already noticed the time before that. Our waiter was on his cell the entire time, my friend was so upset we left without dessert, all because this guy was too busy. I wound up leaving a ridiculously good tip and she was mad at me for it. I looked back and realized it was too much to leave for them. I feel really ripped off by this last visit. For starters, we sat near the back patio and it was freezing. They absolutely need to figure something out back there, get heat in that section! Second, we both ordered«pork chops with roasted red pepper, Tuscan kale & sliced almonds» — exactly as written on their menu. We also had a pick of an additional side. I ordered the mixed salad, my friend the fries(because it came with pepper and kale, she wanted the treat). Our plates both show up with the pork chops and sides, no pepper, kale or almonds. Just a small salad for me and half a plate of fries for her. I asked him what happened and he just said they were out. We waited over 30 minutes to see if he’d bring us the dessert menu(or maybe comp us with dessert since they falsely advertised the meal we both chose?) and by then I just waved him down to ask for the check. They charged us full price for the meal they served in spite of not having 75% of what is offered on their menu. They didn’t make any effort to make it right. In the past I had recommended them and planned a birthday party there, but I won’t be doing that anymore.

There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this place apart from; I feel sorry for the staff who work there and the«food» is appalling. This I suspect all comes down to the boorish, loudmouthed, «owner» who hovers around his establishment like a threatening dark cloud. He has the tact and grace of a drunken Polish bull, his every other word an expletive. Why do people like this even bother to open restaurants? …oh yes, to show off to their idiot pals(who you might have the misfortune to see also propping up the bar). Stay well away. Awful!

WTF is going on with this place? Are you serving for animals to eat or for actual people? We came here with my boyfriend and had the salmon and the pork chop. Both came with the same exact side with the exception that the pork chop had roasted peppers added to it. NOPRESENTATION of the plates at all. The crème brûlée was topped with strawberry jam and graham pieces-DISGUSTING! The waitress although kind, was very slow because she was the only one working and apparently couldn’t keep up. I mean what am I paying for? To sit around and wait for something that a 10 year old can make better ??? Seriously?! Owners and management please step your game up, this is getting ridiculous and people keep giving you a try, don’t disappoint us!

We waited a long time for everything, the food was terrible, and then the manager/owner came up and leeringly asked us if we had any complaints. We said no and booked it out of there for fear of being killed by the Polish mob. Don’t spend your well earned money here.

Checked this place out with a friend a few weeks ago. Signature drinks and food were excellent Very modern European looking bar. Only thing is that no many people know this place is there. The outdoor décor is horrible. You would never know it’s a bar. The yard is also a plus.

Oh, Cream… I was so excited when this place first opened that I went there almost immediately. I remember the food was just barely OK, but I thought it’s because they just opened and are still learning. The second time I went, they were out of half of the menu, so I had to leave without eating. The third time I went, I had a «pleasure» of sitting next to the owner, who very loudly chatted with his buddy about the gym, about married life, women, cars etc. All in Polish, and I wish I could not understand Polish… When they started talking about the waitresses at Cream, and how many of them he had to «fu***ing fire for being on their fu***ing phones all the time» and generally for being stupid, I couldn’t believe that an owner of a restaurant can talk like this about his employees… The menu at that point was completely different than the other times and we ordered a couple of pastas, which were both basically noodles with … cream. Lots of cream. Lots of flavorless cream and overcooked noodles. At that point I gave up on it, but I pass by it all the time and I see the lovely owner smoking cigarettes and cursing outside, which, needless to say, is such uninviting thing, that I would think I am intruding if I were trying to get in.

I can’t say enough about Cream, its the best bar /restaurant in Ridgewood. Drinks, Cocktails, Food, ambiance & décor are all firing on all cylinders! Cream is Number one in Ridgewood and since I’m a local inhabitant of Cream(yes I am) that means Cream is doing everything right, music is hip and happening, the Bartenders are all just Fab and Chef is Creaming the heck out of the dishes! I love It!

If I could give this place negative stars I would… horrible experience from start to finish. Went on a Friday night. Had two local creeps sitting at the bar, ice grilling me and my boyfriend as we entered. They stumbled, pushed past us to go smoke out front. Classy. There was not one, but TWO bartenders for the 5 guests they had at the bar. 2 very young girls that had clearly never worked in a restaurant before. We waited a solid 2 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Some slob of a human, I’m assuming the«manager» and I use that term loosely was sitting at the end of the bar, staring into the TV. Finally, one of the servers/bartenders looks up and says«sit anywhere» Second level service! We try to go upstairs and we are told it’s closed. We attempt to sit at the three high tops next to the kitchens pass and they are all unbussed. Dirty glassware and napkins. There’s only 4 guests in this tiny dining room! It is the opposite of busy. We are given filthy paper menus and asked if we would like water. Is water a course all of a sudden? Then we are left alone for another ten minutes. I get up and tell one of the girls we are ready to order. The Cream Salad, sucked. One measly bit of Gorgonzola. It also took 15 minutes to arrive. The tuna tartar, decent presentation, poor quality tuna. Also a long ass wait. For our entrees we both ordered the steak. Medium. Figured this would be easy to execute. Not only did they come out RAW(see photos) there was so much blood lying in the bottom of the plate, that the potatoes were soaked, cold and inedible. Right away we sent them back. Oh I forgot to mention, the line cook ran all of our food and the«chef de cuisine» a nice enough dude, bussed our table! I was just so confused and disappointed by the whole experience. We wanted our check and we wanted it fast. Had to wait for that too. I lost it. 100 bucks?! Right away my boyfriend stepped in and asked for a manager. The chef came out and apologized profusely, comped the steaks. We paid for the appetizers and left 20 percent on the comped bill. I told him«good luck» and ran the hell out of there. The only redeeming thing about the night was the chef being gracious and accommodating. He was actually nice. Everyone else was awful. He should take his name off of the menu and get work at a real restaurant.

I love the venue here. The only reason the place is getting three stars is the lack of service. They need to hire more people. My waitress was sweet and friendly and she did as much as she could for being one person doing everything from bartending to tending to tables. The place has an outdoor dining as an option of where you want to be seated to eat. I ordered the grilled lamb burger and my husband ordered the ny steak strip dish with two signature drinks called the«babushka & Naranja». I honestly didn’t like the signature drinks but I’ll tell you this much; I got a buzz out of that drink. The food was delicious but next time I will order different drinks. This place has a lot of potential and is truly a hidden gem in the upcoming growth of ridgewood. I will be back.

Omg!!! Cream is one of those restaurants that is a diamond in the rough! It can be easily missed and it took us a few minutes to spot it. Shout out to my Elite Fam Tonya J., for blessing me with her awesome review and pictures of Cream. This place is definitely sexy… We walked into Cream on a Friday night and the vibe was very laid back. It wasnt crowded or filled with people being loud, which was the exact vibe I was going for. R&B was playing in the background as we had the option to either sit outside or inside. At first we sat outside which was extremely cute. Wooden benches and pretty lights set the tone as comfortable and classy. I eventually decided to sit inside because I wanted to fully experience Cream. There is a bar located in the front and depending on where you sit, you can have a nice view of the chefs who looked like a lot of fun. We started off with a drink called Cream which tasted like strawberry heaven. It was so delicious and a must try! I wanted to try the mac & cheese because it sounded tasty. Once I took one bite and experienced the bread crumbs and truffle oil infused with the mac & cheese, I can honestly say it is the best I’ve had in my life! It was completely perfect. We then tried the salmon and lamb burger which were a huge hit! The only thing I would change about the mashed potatoes would to add a little more butter, however, I simply requested a small side of melted butter which worked out great! We wanted to try another drink since they sounded delicious. We tried the Naranjo and the Babushka… Okay the Naranjo was so good that I took one sip, paused, and just stared at the glass in amazement! Unilocalers this drink right here is a MUSTTRY. It tasted like an orange creamsicle… PERFECTIONATIT’S BEST. I also enjoyed the Babushka which had a nice kick to it, but also a sweet and sour taste which was great. Shout out to the bartender that night. yes you did your thing!!! I don’t understand how anyone could possibly give Cream one star. That is a major insult. I advise everyone to go here and enjoy their food, drinks and ambiance. You won’t regret it!

It’s only OK for me. We entered at 4pm and learned that the kitchen opens at 5pm, so we went shopping and come back later. The interior is nice, I especially loved the outside garden. Unfortunately it was to hot outside to enjoy it. However inside was hot too, AC was not strong. I liked the bartender, he remember that I walked in with my dad hour earlier ;) however I don’t know why our waitress was just ok, seamed little clumsy. Now food. It was very tasty! My dad had salmon, it was cooked perfectly. I had beef burger, it was really nice! Juicy, well seasoned. I enjoyed side of fries with it. As an appetizer we shared cream salad. I liked it a lot, even my dad said it was tasty even though he is not a fan of arugula. We also shared mac and cheese, unfortunately it was rather bland. Overall the food was really good. I will definitely be back. Maybe 4th star on its way?

I’ve lived in the Ridgewood area for 27yrs and usually go out of the area for a night out. I wanted to try a night in the neighborhood and sadly i must say i was disappointed with my decision. I know the place is «New» but i thought there would be a little more experience than what i encountered. Walked in and the hostess greeted us. She sat us and also took our drink order. There were 3 tables! Besides our table. A couple walked out because their server i guess forgot about them. They paid their bill downstairs. We finished our drinks and had yet to see a server to take our order. There was lack of décor. I felt like i was sitting in a lonely apartment, and to top it off, was surrounded by semi nude photos displayed throughout all the walls. Awkward.(Not the place for it). No service, so we decided to leave and eat across the street. Had to go downstairs and pay the bill. Still left a tip, of course, but in reality i didnt know who i was leaving the tip to… the host that served us drinks or the server we never saw!

Food portion size is perfect. I had the lamb on pita and it was DELICIOUS! Highly recommended. I went with my 2 girlfriends and the vibe was perfect. They didn’t have a big desert menu but I would definitely go back soon!

Came here for brunch and the food was pretty good! Started off with a complimentary mimosa that’s better than most. Had the Crab Cake Benedict with perfectly poached eggs that’s worth returning for. I know they’re recently opened and brunch was only the 2nd day in, but they really need to start accepting cards. Cash only for now… which was mentioned after we already ate. They could also make due with a more seasoned server. Ours was nice but a bit green. Can’t wait to try dinner. Also… What’s up with the name? Cream? With naked female pictures on the wall? Do you follow my dirty mind?

CREAM is finally open! Yay! And guess what? The food is on point! Rusty and I have visited Cream twice so far, once for brunch and once for dinner. The atmosphere is so woodsy and calming. Dark colors, art on the walls, a colorful bar, and you can see right into the kitchen. There’s an upstairs dining area, and also some space outside(no tables out there yet). For dinner, I had the prawn and also a salad with apricots and goat cheese. Very tasty. The prawn is HUGE and I could hardly finish it by myself, even though it’s an appetizer. Rus had the lamb burger, which was referred to us by a few of our friends, and was also very tasty and juicy. Dinner is a hit at Cream! We had brunch here today, and the food was ok. The brunch menu seems a little bit ambitious. The eggs are served with hummus. The eggs benedict comes with crab cakes, everything has goat cheese on it. It’d be cool if there were one or two simple dishes to balance everything out(eggs, potatoes, bacon, a french toast or pancakes dish). That said, I did appreciate that every dish came with a complimentary mimosa. Rusty also tried the white sangria, which was more like fruit salad and a shot of sangria, but still very good. I ordered the 2 eggs + naan + salad + hummus. The hummus was great. If it’s homemade, they can serve it a little bit chunkier, and with a bit more salt or garlic, something for flavor. I was also pretty disappointed to see that my eggs were overcooked(dramatically). I asked for them over easy and they were fried straight through. Rus ordered the crab cake eggs benedict, and his yolks were also cooked. The staff was really understanding though, and offered us some drinks on the house to make it up. We had to decline, because we were in a hurry. I’m really excited about Cream. I can’t wait for them to open up the backyard with some seating. Dinner here was great, but to be honest, I’ll probably skip on brunch unless they decide to change up the menu.
