Crown Fried Chicken

I walked in late at night. Man behind the counter is cutting something and doesn’t look up. I waited for a minute and then thought maybe he didn’t hear me come in so I said «excuse me?» Man behind the counter smiles, still refuses to look up or acknowledge me and continues what he’s doing. I left. Go here if you like not just horrible service, but absolutely no service at all.

I ordered a Philly cheese steak and it was disgusting and cold. I also asked for an iced tea with my meal and they delivered the wrong drink. I also feel like I overpaid; but I couldn’t tell cus they didn’t put the prices on the receipt.
I was starving until the food arrived. Then, I lost my appetite
Avoid this place if you can.

It was 3:30 a.m.
I don’t normally order delivery… I find eating at home out of the pile of gross packaging it comes in pretty depressing.
However, I was hungry and didn’t feel like a bodega sandwich or walking down to the taco truck. I checked GrubHub, and Crazy Fried Chicken was the only place still delivering.
I’m a vegetarian, but found mozzarella sticks with fries on the menu and fired away. About an hour later my greasy meal arrived. It was pretty much what you’d expect. But you can’t be picky in Queens in the middle of the night.

I was skeptical ordering after reading other reviews, but once I tried it I ordered from there again the next night.
The first order arrived within only 15 minutes, but was missing half the order. After calling they sent it right out, and it was here within 10. Although they messed up, they fixed it quickly and to my satisfaction.
The second night everything arrived hot, quickly, and complete. No complaints and they are open late!

Order was missing items, chicken was mixed with old pieces and not as requested (asked for all dark meat – order had wings and breasts). On top of paying a $ 2 delivery charge I tipped the delivery person my usual 15%. Not worth the hassle.

The single most reliable food establishment in Brooklyn. (Although I do often ask for honey mustard and they forget it half the time.) But I love them regardless. Amazing chicken tenders. If I could give six stars, I would.

This place was just terrible. We were hungry and in the mood for a fried chicken with all the fixings meal, and no place else was delivering at 9:30 at night. We found Crazy Fried Chicken through Seamless. Everything was dirt cheap, but really disgusting. We ordered popcorn chicken, which tasted like the microwave ones that you get in the freezer section at the supermarket. I literally spit mine out. We ordered mashed potatoes and were quite adamant that we did NOT want gravy, and the mashed potatoes came drenched in it. Couldn’t eat those. The macaroni salad was just disgusting. I think that the french fries may have been decent. Then there’s the delivery. 45 minutes after we called, the guy called us back because he took down our credit card number wrong. We continued to wait. We ordered at 9:30. We started calling around 10:30. To our surprise, there was no answer. We called again at 10:45. Still no answer. Same at 11. We couldn’t believe it — had we honestly been robbed by a fast food chicken joint? Finally, at 11:15, the driver came. He insisted that the order was not paid for by credit card. We insisted that it was, and we didn’t have any cash. He gave us a huge attitude, and left. Needless to say, I would never order from this place again.

Decent fast food establishment if you’re in the area and craving some greasy food. There’s not much variety when it comes to fine cuisine in an uninteresting neighborhood such as Ridgewood. (A majority of Ridgewood is actually comprised fast food joints, especially Myrtle Avenue. Go figure.) Suffice it to say, it is definitely a better choice in terms of quality and prices than the neighboring McDonald’s about two blocks away (even frozen is better than McBeef). In those rare occasions that I just want something fast and filling, I go with the double cheeseburger w/​french fries combo.
I’m crazy enough to say that I have not tried the chicken yet.
