After spending $ 15 on a crappy set(2) of passport pics by a nearby shop, I walked in to Cypress Photo, defeated, wondering, «What the heck!!!» Boy, was I pleasantly surprised AND satisfied: not only was it cheaper($ 8) than the other place I’d gone to, I got 4 copies, it was a great, well-lit photo with perfect color saturation and focus which looked great on my new passport. The studio in the back is nice and the owner was very nice and professional. Dunno about kids’ pics or kids’ wear – if you need a passport pic, THIS is the place!

Ok, went their last weekend. I guess with all the money Pao and his crew have been making, they decided to add more to the store. More isn’t better in this case. The store and studio are still the same size, they just added more stuff in front– dresses to choose, figurines, frames. you name it! I mean it’s cool when you have space, like they in their old shop(next to San Remo’s which is now a hardware supply store I think), but now everything seems a bit too crowded. And Pao seemed in a bit of a rush to get us out… I never stayed for more than an hour unless need be, but I’m sure we were in the studio 15 minutes MAX. I liked when he spent more time, making the photo-taking process personal. It’s not like he isn’t as good as he’s always been. I’d still go come here before I’d even THINK of going anywhere else!
