I get my coffee here most mornings on my way to the train. Mike is always friendly. These guys work hard. Cute little greasy spoon diner on Fresh Pond Road.

Great coffee, great donuts, great breakfast sandwiches. The older guys that work here(guessing the owners) always make me laugh. Super nice guys!

Decent diner food… prices are getting ridiculous… if you place an order it’s almost guaranteed they are going to forget something. The guy in the front is always yelling orders to the cook… delivery guys are nice, fast and come upstairs into your building… I feel bad for them because they always have to do double trips to because they always forget something in the delivery order. so if you get a delivery, check your order first. now if you are walking by, I suggest going to the end of the block to Madison Deli… burgers, subs and breakfast that is more than half the price, and better food… delite is decent if you want to have hot plates style lunch or dinner. If you can put up with the Greek yelling and tight quarters then you will be fine. they just need to lower some of the prices!

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, donuts, cakes and pies are all hearty and delicious! A Ridgewood Classic and a neighborhood delight! Prices are a little bit higher than expected but in keeping with the times and rising rents I suppose prices are on par. Service is speedy, friendly and operating hours are consistent and on point always for both dining in, taking out and delivery service!

She is the on the grill :) Chicken salads. the Burgers, & grilled bacon cheeses are my favorite here :) The owner is always here making the place happier for the customers, everyone seems to know him & he knows everyone’s order. Always a great experience here

Convenient stop before catching the M train on Fresh Pond Road. Fast paced diner with food that tastes like you made it fresh at home. Their donuts are excellent by the way.

My little neighborhood diner. Nothing fancy here. Nothing spectacular. Just solid food at decent prices. I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and take-out. They have their regular menu, a light menu(smaller portions, not diet), and their daily specials, where you really get a bang for the buck! We’re talking entrée, sides, and soup or dessert in generous portions for anywhere between $ 8 – 13! Food has ranged from decent to good to really good. They’ve been pretty consistent, so I always know what I’m getting.

I recently moved to this neighborhood. It is literally 5 mins walking distance from my house. I passed by so many times without paying attention to it, simply because of it’s appearance. However I was wrong about the first impression. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, it was divine. It was absolutely delicious and probably the best salad I ever had(I work in the restaurant business). The dressing was everything. It made from scratch and the chicken is so freaking tender. I was amazed!!!

I have eaten at diner itself not bad usual diner style food clean inside seating is a little tight. Service is okay. Wouldn’t recommend delivery we waited over two hours to get a breakfast delivery that didn’t come till after 1 pm even after calling twice to check status of the order food when it arrived wasn’t very hot home fries lacked seasoning and flavor. Eat in at diner for a better experience

I’m going to start this review by saying what Triple D isn’t. It’s not an after-Sunday mass diner. It’s not a family dining experience. It’s not a romantic little off-the-beaten-path hideaway. Delight Diner & Donuts is a utilitarian, blue color establishment adjacent to the Fresh Pond M train stop. Its purpose is to serve people quickly on their way to work or stopping for a quick nibble after a long commute home. The food at Triple D ranges from average to delightful. Breakfasts are always served fast, cheap and exactly to order. The«greasy spoon» dining reminds me of my youth when there was a short order cook joint on every corner of Brooklyn. You may notice the myriad photos of uniformed individuals wallpapering the north wall of the tiny diner. The MTA’s Fresh Pond subway yard and the Fresh Pond Bus Depot are located directly behind the diner. Other major employers: the DOC Academy and DOT Collection facility are a short walk away. That explains why images of so many civil servants adorn the walls. At any given time, half the clientele is likely employed by one of these four agencies. Delight Diner & Donuts is great for fast, convenient diner fare, priced to keep you coming back for more.

Top notch, no frills breakfast. Nestled right up against the elevated M line, on the constant traffic jam that is Fresh Pond, sits the railroad style greasy spoon of your Queens dreams. The brothers who own the place have been doing their thing for over 25 years. The talkative one works the register up front, yelling take out orders to the back. In back, the quiet brother focuses on the food. These guys are the real deal. Love this place. Skip the Dunkin Donuts up the block and give these locals your money instead. Eating at the counter is the way to go, but you can grab and go too. Either way, it’s a winner.

I’ve walked past this place several times and always noticed a few people in here and tasty looking donuts in the window, and figured I stop on in. Took about 5 minutes before somebody walked over to help. The rep standing over in the donut area was on the phone, and the other waiters were in the back. Once I walked to the back I got their attention and a lady walked over and got me the glazed donut as I requested. The glazed was nothing special. With that said if you’re in the mood for a donut but duncan donuts is closer, don’t make the trip. The same goes the other way. Since this place is pretty far down the block from me, I doubt i’ll go again for the donuts, but i’ll probably visit for the Diner half.

I’m always surprised(and selfishly delighted) that this place isn’t more crowded. It’s perfectly greasy diner food served in generous quantity for about as cheap as you’d want it to be. Their pancakes are the best I’ve had in Ridgewood thus far, and they butter and grill the roll on their egg sandwich(which is to say, they make it correctly). The owners/staff are funny and friendly, and the décor has a homey, Old New York feel to it. Great neighborhood joint!

Amazing breakfast Family owned so you know it’s nothing mass produced. It also doesn’t hurt that they love to give huge portions. Sit by the counter and chat with the funny owners and staff.

This is the worst diner in Ridgewood. I ordered a burger and fries on June 20th… I got food poisoning within a couple hours and thought I was going to die for the next 5 days. I was throwing up from both ends and it just wouldnt’ stop. I went to my doctor and he didn’t know how I was still alive. Last night my uncle ordered from them… after I told him to never get food from them again, and now he’s in the hospital after their meal. he’s been there since 11pm last night. this place is horrible. They must be leaving their meat out in the heat or something.

Okay, I finally triend the banana-walnut-sour cream omelette. It was sort of weird, but edible. Worth trying once, anyway. Still my favorite diner in the neighborhood.
