Worst service EVER. I just ordered a delivery. There phone was forever busy. They said it would take one hour and it took TWO HOURS! I ordered 2 juices, they only brought one and when I called to complain they said «I don’t know what to tell you, we aren’t redelivering one juice.» You messed up! That is awful customer service. It was the restaurants mistake so you should fix it. I was so excited when I found this place because of all the healthy options, but I will NEVER order from here again because of how rude the workers are. I understand people make mistakes, but don’t be rude to your customers when you are the one who messed up.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Not only did my delivery take 2 hours, but the clerk who took my order was nasty, as well as the delivery guy. After one hour I called to check the status of my delivery and the clerk said «he’s on his way, he needed to fix his car first» in a very abrupt manner. When I called back 40 minutes later, the clerk literally answered the phone like «your delivery in on its way». No apologies, no proper customer service, no appropriate phone etiquette. Nothing. When the delivery guy finally arrived, he didn’t have change and attempted to take his own tip because of it. When I told him he needs to get change he was abrupt and walked away. I will never order from them again.

Phenomenal flavors along with pleasantly filling. 4 stars only due to time waited for food but it’s worth it knowing everything is FRESH and from scratch. Try their baked fries either regular or spicy. UNBELIEVABLE! I strongly recommend to call in advance and have food ready when you arrive and ENJOY. Don’t forget to order any one of their smoothies. Over 20 to choose from all made with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Overall this has to be the best place to build your energy level either prior or after a good workout. Enjoy !!!

The food is ok but the strawberry banana milk shake is everything !!! So delicious. I usually get the chipotle bison plate. It’s ok it does have flavor but could be better

I mean what’s not to love here ! I’m still obsessed with this place. I’ve been going here for years now! Ok maybe 2 lol but it’s awesome I have probably tried most of the menu. Or at least anything involving chicken.

I’ve gotten food from this particular Energy Fuel a few times. It is one of the healthier options in Ridgewood.
The last meal I ordered from Energy Fuel is called the Zesty Steak Low-​Carb Plate. The only items listed as the description as to what comes with the plate are sirloin steak, organic brown rice, and roasted mixed vegetables. My plate contained all those foods… AND BBQ SAUCE! Yup, BBQ sauce all over the steak and on some of the rice. I couldn’t scoop it out because it was mixed in.
I purposely ordered from Energy Fuel to avoid unhealthy garbage like BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce totally defeats the purpose of trying to eat healthy meals.

Being an 11year veteran in the hospitality/​food industry, there’s always one bad egg in the bunch! I really hate to write negative reviews, but lack of good service and a smile totally kills my whole vibe in a place. It even makes the food taste sad :(
Word of advice to management/​owner. Hire friendly, smiley and happy employees. Miserable, down, rude faces and personalities are a huge turn off for your establishment. Also, allowing your employees to wear metal in their face isn’t attractive.

Yesterday, I made the grave mistake of ordering from EnergyFuel again. This time I asked for a turkey, mozzarella and spinach in a whole wheat wrap. What I got was a whole wheat PITA with turkey, LETTUCE, ONIONS, CUCUMBERS and TOMATO. Definitely not what I ordered. I called them and the girl that picked up the phone first said that what I got was in fact what I asked for. After a few minutes she finally agreed to fix the order, but under one condition… She wanted me to come in and pick up the sandwich myself because their delivery guy had 7 orders to deliver and I wouldn’t get my food until an hour later. Needless to say, I called seamless and had the sandwich refunded. Here’s a few pieces of advice, EnergyFuel; don’t sign up for seamless if you’ve only got one delivery person and don’t act like douchebags when you get the order wrong.

Last time we attempted to order from this place, they said that 7:30 PM was too late to order anything for delivery, because they closed at 9 PM.
Today we ordered from them, they refused to make any smoothies because «we aren’t doing that today.» We asked if they’d make juices at least, they said «yes,» and then said they couldn’t make the juice we ordered because they’d have to «turn on the machine.»
They forgot to include any of the sauces we asked for. My friend ordered a teriyaki tofu sandwich — it literally was slabs of tofu on bread — it’s supposed to be «Tofu baked in a teriyaki sauce, lettuce, cucumber, onions and sesame seeds.» Again — tofu on a bread, with nothing else. I’m done with this place. I suggest everyone else be as well.

Loved eating here! The portions are bigger than expected and everything is fresh and tasty. Will definitely be coming here often! :)

5 star concept 3 star food. Overall solid when you need a healthy and tasty meal. I like the chipotle bison, tried a peanut butter banana smoothie which wasn’t so good and food takes a while. For the price of the food I was expecting grade A meat but the steak kind of just tasted chewy and dry. The chipotle bison is my go too

Goat cheese & avocado salad is YUM.
Wraps are also yum.

This place is disgusting!!! There are flies everywhere. The floor is filthy. The girl with the fake red hair is making smoothies without gloves and touching every piece of fruit going into every smoothie. This place is a good idea. We need healthy places to eat. BUT THE OWNERS HAVE FORGOTTEN OR DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THIS JOINT.

Yum! Can’t believe we haven’t tried this place until recently. We were looking for something «healthier» in the ‘hood, and our friend told us about this place.
We walked over and ordered to dine in. I got the Guacamole Crunch wrap with chicken and Rus got the Hawaiian Tropical wrap. The Guac Crunch wrap was so good! Lots of delicious, fresh guacamole, with lots of lemon flavor. Loved it. The Hawaiian Tropical wrap was ok. Really liked the combination of pineapple and grilled chicken, but there was just way too much rice. For $ 16 bucks, it was definitely worth a try and I think that we’ll be going back.
They’ve got a large selection of smoothies and juices too. Everything is made to order. The salads and plates also look great!

Interesting that obviously caters to the gym rats at the gym located next door. The menu seems very interesting with a ton of playful names like «energy wrap», «Super Energy Wrap», «Super Duper Energy Tasty Bar». Everything seems exciting, but some things are misleading especially my Energy Hawaiian Wrap I ordered. Although it was supposed to come with a «touch» of rice, pineapple, mango, and chicken. I ended up receiving a wrap that contained 80−90% rice and very little chicken/​mango/​pineapple. It sucked, but Carol let me get her half wrap which was chicken, avocado lettuce and tomatoes and really good. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I think a touch of anything means a very little amount.
Although this has very little to do with my experience, the group of people next to me claimed the chef took a bite out of their cheese burger. Very weird situation. The woman who worked the counter just rolled their eyes and didn’t say anything at all when they received the complaint. Made another cheese burger and just brought it back out without saying anything. No apologizes or anything.

Juicer doesnt work, the food sucks, the caesar salad has added ingredients and the dressing is salty enough to raise blood pressure. I had a wrap it was wack, brown rice was wack. Honestly ive had better food from worse places plus the girl with the nose ring at the register needs an attitude check and a few lessons in proper customer service. A simple thank you goes a long way, so does a simple smile. First and last time.
Oh and the nail on the coffin, i get two tupperware containers handed at the register to take my food to go.

Don’t understand what the negative reviews are all about but this spot is pretty good. They have a lot on their menu which makes it so difficult to choose what you want. I went with the chicken pesto wrap and a side of sweet potato fries which was very good and filling. Will definitely go back.

I haven’t tried the food; but it doesn’t look to good from the people that I see eating it when I go for my juice.
I use to get my juices from here– I sometimes like to change up the ingredients and that shouldn’t be a problem and most of the time it isn’t. Recently I noticed the juices had chunks from the vegetables like celery and carrots. At first I was thinking that they don’t clean the machine but more of the chucks began to accumulate in the juice to the point where I have stopped going. I know they clean it since I saw it happen and the next day I went to get a juice first thing it opened and the problem is still there.
They also made a problem when I asked them to just add one carrot instead of 2.
I don’t recommend going here– The place has gotten worse. And it wasn’t great to begin with.

Hey Unilocaler! Thinking of ordering a fruit smoothie? Read this first!
The color of my banana strawberry smoothie was what foreshadowed the rest of my experience with said smoothie. When I took that first sip, I had no idea what My taste buds had experienced. When I ordered my usual smoothie to the new girl, she randomly asked me moments later what milk I’d prefer in my smoothie.
While I do appreciate her asking me I found it odd that no one in the three years that I’ve been coming here that has asked me what kind of milk I’d like. No wanting to be a fatty, I said skim milk. Now I’m not sure if its the skim milk, the fact that perhaps I always unknowingly had whole milk or the girl had no idea that bananas AND strawberries were supposed be in this smoothie but it certainly tasted odd. In fact, it’s incredibly light with barely a hint of bananas with strawberries noticeably absent. The color is even different. It’s a light pink compared to the usual red. What is going on here?! I paid $ 7 for something I didn’t even order!
Energy Fuel, you (or rather, the short new girl who worked today at 12:30pm) dropped the ball. I’m disappointed. I didn’t write «addictive smoothies» for nothing. My review for EF is now 2.5 stars just because of this. Hope to raise it again next time I’m around.
P. S. I also got the #26 Pesto Wrap. That was meh. BARELY enjoyed it. Who are these new employees that EF has hired? I just lost $ 14.50!!! I’m unemployed and I always know its worth pumping money into this establishment but I’m really regretting it today.
