Thank God this place is closed, they were terrible to the staff, the managers pets were so arrogant for a lowly place, people went there for the name of how it used to be i guess, kind if like going to coney island in the 90s and expecting it to be like it was in the 50’s, like i said Thank God its Closed and its only mentioned like some neighborhood urban legend

I have been to several events here. My husband’s union holds their annual holiday event here. My daughter’s school prom was done here and recently I went to a friend’s daughter’s Sweet 16 Party. Though the ambiance may look regal, the service is far from that. The food taste like cafeteria food. No joke in all the occasions I have been here. They do not provide great service. No attendants in the bathrooms. The wait staff needs to be improved. The Maitre d’ also needs improvement If you really really want to do a party in a catering hall, you’re best bet is to look elsewhere. Like I said, I have been here for several events and every time I come, it seems like its getting worse. Not worth the price for the service you get. Trust me, I have been to many events.

I was to have my wedding reception on February 6, 1961 at the Fleur De Lis Caterers Inc. The place burn’t down two weeks before. And we had two weeks to call everyone and reschedule to the Victorian House. Plus we had a blizzard to work out.

I have heard this place is ancient. Staff who actually work the events are all very friendly and all good people. Décor needs total renovation. The menu should be completely redone as well. But the mozzarella sticks can stay.
