Received email from them that they’re closing. Their other location in New Milford will remain open. Again, yet another example of how sky high rents and crappy parking are forcing many really great business out of Ridgewood. I’ve lost count of exactly how many but it’s a lot. Something really should be done. Very sad to see them go.

What the hell Unilocal?Went here last week and it was completely open! Whoever said it was closed was dead wrong or has a vendetta. The place was nicely air conditioned which is refreshing on a summer’s day after a hike. We were greeted by a nice guy at the counter who was surely forced by management to say“welcome to Glazed donuts”. I say forced because you can always tell by the lack of enthusiasm in their voice. But he was helpful nonetheless. Anyway stopped in with my friend Dez D. and shared some yummy treats. We opted for an Oreo and a canoli donut. Both were unique and impressive and lived up to their name. Very delectable and worth the extra money for extra quality. They made dunkin donuts taste like crap in comparison. Can’t wait til they open a new location in my neck of the woods. I will give them an extra star if the next few things I try there are good.

Ive been to the New Milford location and although i enjoyed this one, it deff has more of a «chain» feel. which i guess is a good thing since the original has done so well! good job ! anywhoo.this location is larger, cleaner, and seems to have more choices. the people are super duper friendly and theres even a lounge-type area to enjoy. The cannoli donut is where its at. the donut itself is stuffed with cannoli cream and has a ton of cannoli shell on top which tends to be a bit softer than a usual cannoli shell. I was not impressed with the oreo cookie to be honest. did nothing for me. Ice coffee wasnt anything special, but only comes in Medium and large sizes.

Q: How do you make donuts undesirable? A: Glaze Donuts has a knack for it. The primary flavors are sickenly sweet and greasy, while the premium flavors are confused and unimaginative along with being as subtle as an anvil to the head. This is their second location and I see a trend… Example A: The bacon on the maple bacon donut had a odd taste sort of like a slim jim soaked in a concoction of simple syrup and Log Cabin. The bacon was not drained of grease and undercooked causing the fat to congeal to a lard like consistency on top of the already greasy donut that acted like a sponge absorbing the bacon fat. Topping that with maple flavored high fructose corn syrup and you have what is called a maple bacon donut, I call it inedible. Example B: The glazed donut is so sweet it makes it hard to eat. If you need or desire a donut this sweet, perhaps you’ve destroyed your palate or should have your sugar checked. Service and atmosphere could use some work, the location is difficult for a donut shop due to limited metered parking. With the very popular Raymond’s nearby this place is an afterthought for coffee that is decent and ok beignets. BSE2−64

Went there twice for bacon maple donuts they were out both times, wrote a bad review, the owner messaged me and said he would set some aside, on him. That was nice of him. I will give them another chance.

I stopped at the Ridgewood location today after having such a stellar experience at the New Milford spot. I’m sad to say that It didn’t live up to New Milford. It wasn’t as clean. Not as many choices of donuts and my glaze jelly was quite disappointing. It tasted fresh but the jelly inside was no good. I would definitely be willing to give it another chance but just a Meh this time around.

Management has no respect for the customer and no clue how to run a business. We have been here three times, the first time the donuts were good we went back last Friday my kids got a half dozen and when we went to eat them in the morning they were hard. My wife stopped in again to give it another chance and the donuts were hard again the next morning. When we called to complain the owner who identified himself as such was rude and unapologetic but graciously… lol…offered a replacement. When I went in to get the donuts the girl questioned my ability to judge the hardness of the donut by putting on gloves and squeezing them and breaking them apart explaining to me the difference in the style of donuts. I kid you not. She then called the owner who was in there other store and proceeded to tell me that he was upset that we bought the donuts yesterday and didn’t bring our receipt with us to exchange them… Seriously it was 7dollars what is wrong with you. She then proceeded to stall on exchanging them which at that point I told her where she could put the donuts. Bottom line horrible service… Inconsistent food. Don’t waste your time or money on any place that would take apart your donuts and argue with you over the consistency. A very strange customer service policy where the owner is always right…

Love, love this place! Fresh, yummy and innovative flavors… maple bacon, Nutella stuffed, cannoli stuffed, Reese’s Pieces, some of my favorites. Been to both locations and staff is very nice. Shout out to Kirstin. Good hours too. Run and get your fill of these delicious donuts.

Stopped in to pick up a few donuts for my sis who had just popped out her babe the day before — so close to Ridgewood hospital makes this location perfect. Smells like heaven walking in– what an amazing variety of donuts and everything looked amazing and fresh. Picked up a half a dozen for $ 6.50 — almost a jaw dropper for me being used to shopping in this town! The owner was SONICE and helpful — he jumped behind the counter to help me because the young man at the register was tending to someone else– now that is pride in your business! I can really appreciate that. Let’s keep this shop in town — delicious stuff– cant wait to go back for the coffee and crepes!!!
