Hema’s Eyebrows

I asked for a clean up and the technician took it upon herself to shape my eyebrows. To say the least I came out with super thinned out eyebrows like Ursula from little mermaid. I haven’t had such thin brows since high school when i went tweezer crazy. My left eyebrow was also uneven from my right… but no sense in telling her to thin out my right to match my left. Ugh. DO you know how long it takes to grow out mistakes? FOREVER.

Love this place. My eyebrows always look great. They never do them too thin. There is never a line. The ladies are very friendly

I was pretty excited to come here, after reading all of the great reviews.
I went on a weeknight, and there was only one other person inside getting their brows done, by an older woman. I had a younger girl do mine (I’m not sure which of the two is the one that is praised in these reviews).
She was very quick, which I guess can be a good thing, but honestly I would rather her take her time to make sure they were even. Before she started, I began to tell her how I like my brows (on the thicker side, please), and she pretty much just nodded her head while I was talking and began threading away.
They came out uneven, with no defined shape, which I was pretty disappointed about, as I was hoping this would be my go to salon. Not to mention, I would have to grow them out, again.

I secretly had my eyebrows done here. It was quick and cheap. ($ 8 before tip). I’d say she did a good job, cuz I don’t think it was as obvious as the last time I got them done. So I guess it looks more natural, just cleaner.

Awesome job on my eyebrows! Every time I go there is never a line and they take care of me quickly. Definitely going back!

Good eyebrow threading, $ 10 is a good price for the Bergen County area (I try to get it done in the city where most places I have found are about $ 6)… biggest complaint is the completely overwhelming incense smell every time I go there. I start tearing up and sneezing while they’re working on me because the smell is so obnoxious!

Went here twice so far. Excellent job with my eyebrows– the shape was natural. The staff can be kind of curt– they did not ask me how I wanted them but just started doing their thing on both occasions that I went. Luckily, I have no preference besides them not being pencil thin. But they are efficient and do their job well. Parking is a pain.

Went here today for the first time to try somewhere new. I was impressed. No wait time. I was in and out fairly quickly and most importantly I loved the way my eyebrows came out. Will definitely be going back in 2 weeks. I did notice the discarded used thread on the floor as mentioned in other reviews, not too sure what that’s all about but I wouldn’t consider that as a reason not to go.

Excellent threading services. Been going here consistently for eyebrows. There is rarely a wait, and if so, just a few minutes. I am in and out in under 10 min. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I was really pleased with my eyebrow threading I received at Hema’s. It was my first visit there, though I am familiar with the threading technique, and I was able to walk in and as it was not busy be seen within a minute. With little fanfare out came the thread and my eyebrows received some much overdue maintenance. The whole process took less than five minutes and cost $ 10. Upon closer examination at home I did notice there was some stragglers I had to extricate myself… Hence not five stars, plus the proliferation of discarded used thread on the floor, yuck, but these little oversights would not keep me from visiting them again in due time.

Phenomenal! Beautiful results, inexpensive, professional, and friendly. And no appointment necessary! I went in, waited for less than 10 minutes (a line of 3 others in front), sat down, and within 5 minutes my eyebrows looked great, with minimal pain. Highly recommend!

Hema did a TERRIFIC job with my brows this saturday… Great arch, no afterbumps, and only $ 10. After so many dismal eyebrow threadings of late, I feel like i’ve finally found «the one»…unfortunately, she’s about 7 months pregnant and I don’t know what’s gonna happen when she has her child, but this gal’s got it.
