My previous review stands: These hard workin’ ladies still reign supreme for drop-off laundry in the neighborhood even though they have become much too busy for same day pick-up’s. I wouldn’t recommend their dry cleaning, though. My first drop-off was an entire week later than they originally quoted me and when I went in for the original pick-up date they had no clue where my blanket was and said that, «The guy took it.» Um, who’s the guy? When I received it back this time and every time since my garments looks and smells to have had nothing done to them. Just my two cents.

I moved to Ridgewood from Astoria 2 years ago. I was obviously restaurant spoiled in Astoria, but I didn’t realize I was also Laundromat spoiled as well. After trying many different laundromats in the area(both that I can walk to and drive to) I was very happy to stumble across Lavanderia by accident. They advertise that the machines are brand new, which was probably about a year or so ago I would guess, but the machines are definitely on the nicer/newer side for this area. Lavanderia is brightly light, and open 24 hours which is a great convenience. All the machines also operate with a laundry card. The first time you give a $ 1 deposit for the card(which you can get back when you return the card, or you can hold on to it). You can fill up the card with cash or any form of credit card(debit with cc logo is accepted too) which is also a great convenience. There is one or two TVs, and the front desk sells various types of detergents etc should you need it. My only complaint at all is that the overall space is kind of tight when its busy. The folding tables can be in the way of people trying to get in and out of the dryers at times. To avoid that situation I would try to go at off hours. Otherwise I definitely recommend.

Great place! I dropped off my laundry and it was ready when they said it would LD be. However, my dry cleaning was 2 days later from the day they told me. But they were nice and explained it was miscommunication from the person that took my clothes. Clothes dropped off on Saturday wouldn’t be ready until Tuesday evening. Really nice staff! Very clean facility. Clothes smelled awesome! Would definitely drop off again there…

I use to come here when I lived in queens. Every time I come visit my mom and I have a bag of laundry this is where I come. I also do drop off here the prices are so much cheaper then the Bronx and the way they leave my clothes are crazy good. This place is by far the beat for me. Tip… don’t come after 6 it will be crowded if you can wash from 1 – 4 thwn ur good.

Your basic laundromat. Local, easy walking distance. They also carry everything you might need. I didn’t have detergent, they had it. I didn’t have a laundry bag, I got one for $ 4! I *DID* have change tho, but they have a change machine &ATM too. Large front-loader, $ 3.75. Dryer was a mere $ 1.50 for 40 minutes. Did I mention that they are 24 hours. As the brits say… brilliant! Done and done.
