The food at this place is pretty good. The décor and everything is very cool, very hipster. The food is the only reason why i rated this place 3 stars. Their accuracy of the orders are horrible. The last few times that i have been there, not one order was right. i usually have a to-go order so whatever sandwich i order is already wrapped in foil and of course Im on the go so i always forget to check(but I feel like i shouldn’t have to if they just got the order right the first time). Good thing the food is good so whatever they give me i still eat it. BUT they need to improve on producing the sandwich according to that was requested. On to the food. I usually order the borough park. It’s great, it’s fresh. No question on the quality of ingredient that is used. The bagels are soft and on point. I even tried their donuts which were pretty good as well. Glazed and mocha donuts were great. Im interested in trying more of their pastries. Can’t complain about their coffee, it’s well brewed and moderately strong-at least to my taste(it take it black). Service needs lots of improvements. Some staff have a bit of an attitude when calling out orders. They are pleasant when taking your order but when they make your sandwich, expect to wait a good 10 minutes. I get that the sandwiches they offer take time but if i am tipping you upon payment and waiting for 10 minutes for that sandwich, there shouldn’t be an reason why my order wasn’t accurate. oh yeah, and if i am paying $ 2 extra for additional toppings, i should expect them to be there. This hasn’t happened just once either. I get that things get mixed up sometimes. But if i order something something in 3 different time and non of them were right then there’s something wrong with that. It has happened numerous times. Like i said, i am on the go so when i actually get to eating my sandwich, i get disappointed bc sometimes the extra stuff that i requested is missing or just not right. Since you can watch them make your sandwich, I have observed the person making my sandwich check their phone and chat with their co-workers when they should be producing my sandwiches accurately in a timely manner. And since it takes them so long to make a sandwich it usually means efficiency is lacking. It is not orderly and i have observed this as well. I have been pretty patient with this place. I would still come here but i would like to see some improvement since this place has a potential to be great. Maybe writing the orders down for the person making these orders so that they can stop screwing up the orders. A few positives are the free wi-fi, natural light, and cozy feel. Nice place to read a book, do some work on the laptop etc. I have even studied there a little before as well. getting a seat is tough if you require some table space, but once you get a spot it’s a pleasant place.

great place and good coffee. fine employees. save one — whose voice this day is too loud and penetrating. he obviously enjoys life. a little too much for a quiet café. he is bearded and blondish and wearing a black wool hat. he has some kind of pin through the top of his right ear. he loves life. and therefore, my life is not as nice. 6÷1÷16 at 1:45PM.

Been in here a couple times and have been pretty disappointed. The interior is pretty and spacious. A weird card minimum considering how expensive the coffee is. It is not as good as the price would imply. Plus, the pastries are also wildly expensive for the quality. Would I pay $ 4 for an excellent almond croissant and be okay with it? Just barely. This was not excellent. I also just generally resent all coffee shops with no decaf options that aren’t herbal tea. Or green tea. Which has caffeine. It’s just lame. I’ll even pay extra for decaf pour over like help me out here.

I go here only for coffee, atleast when I’m sticking to the area and not going to the train station. All the coffee is made fresh and service is good. Got to get there quick for the bagels though because they sell out by the time I get there. They must be good then, 8 and that’s what we need in this area… bagels!

Great little coffee shop off the M train. Got the iced latte, and it was better than I expected. No sugar needed! The service was a little rude. The guy with the beard and beanie was talking with his friend the whole time, and wasn’t even attentive to the customers. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience. Will go back!

Warning: honest/whiny sounding feedback below — If you’re looking for efficient service, maybe go somewhere else. I ordered 2 red eyes — 1 iced and 1 hot, and a donut from an employee who proceeded to make an espresso shot for an iced red eye which ended up being for himself, not me. Once the other employee was done making a bagel(also probably for himself), he apologized for the slow service, which I accepted, and he proceeded to take over espresso duty. He then made two more shots while the other guy walked outside and sat down at a table with his freshly brewed iced red eye. Talk about great service! Once my drinks were done, I politely said to the employee«Not for nothing, but I’ve been waiting for my drinks and I think it’s a little ridiculous that he works here and got his before me after I paid $ 11.75.» His response was«He works here, but he just stopped in for a coffee because he’s not on yet.» Fine, if you’re shift doesn’t start yet, maybe you shouldn’t stand behind the counter staring at customers and taking orders. The coffee itself was delicious, and the Dough donut was too. However, this whole exchange put a bad taste in my mouth. If Milk & Pull was on Seamless/Grubhub, I’d possibly order; limited interaction with the staff is really what I’d be looking for here. Bottom line — good coffee, poor service.

Nice environment. Lots of natural light. Staff lacks people skills. I went up to the counter where there was no line, and the barista didn’t acknowledge me while she was making a drink. After about a minute of me standing there she said«I’ll be with you in a second.» Okay, that’s fine. She took my order for a Chai Latte, extra hot with skim milk. I went to my table to wait for it and I hear her call«extra hot skim latte.» I went up and said«was that my Chai?» And she said«I can MAKE it a chai.» I said«.okay.» She called to me «did you want a dirty chai or a regular.» I said regular. Then I heard her say to the next customer«she didn’t ORDER a chai, but it’s okay.» She made me the chai and it wasn’t very hot or flavorful. It made me uncomfortable and pissed. Probably won’t be back which is sad.

The ambiance here is perfect. It’s quiet but doesn’t feel like a library; it’s spacious and sunny — great place to read a book or get some work done, but still welcoming enough to the«human experience» that a friend and I were able to have a lengthy, albeit rather quiet, chat. & perhaps even more importantly, they rock the hell out of a beautifully crafted cortado! & the bagels/sanwiches are great. & the donuts, though I haven’t tried them, look amazing. All in all a lovely addition the the neighborhood!

Cute little coffee shop with a relaxed vibe with ample inside seating and if you are lucky you can snag one of the few seats outside. I was there with friends for an hour or so in which I had the regular iced coffee and chai tea latte. The iced coffee was good coffee(stump town) with regular milk and sugar though they have a lot of options I am looking forward to going back and trying.

Milk & Pull is a coffee shop in Ridgewood. You can take the M train to Forest Av and walk a few blocks. It’s a pretty space with good lighting. When I came, they did not have some of the items listed on their menu(no bananas for the yogurt parfait, for example). That was slightly annoying. Their coffee is from Stumptown from Portland, Oregon. They only had one kind of coffee available — the«Hairbender», a dark roast. I really like light roast, so I was again slightly annoyed by their lack of options. I ended up not getting anything to eat although I was hungry. I just ordered a small coffee, and it was surprisingly nice. I usually don’t like dark roasts, but the Hairbender has an interesting flavor profile. It tasted like cherries.

PROS: Great study spot, not super crowded, spacious w/good lighting, good music & ambiance, good customer service, good coffee! CONS: Wi-fi barely works(which I suppose prevents me from getting distracted), 1 – 2 outlets so come w/laptop fully charged, killed 7(& still counting) mini fruit flies w/my bare hands within 4 hrs… ***ATTENTIONMILK&PULL: Please get rid of your fruit flies bc I can imagine they have been in contact w/your pastries/bagels. Would give 3.5 stars if I can bc of your fruit fly problems. Otherwise, I really do like this place!!! Update: Caught a total of NINE fruit flies during my 6 hrs of being here!!! To feel accomplished or grossed out, idk

It is nice because it is a large, comfortable space. I would probably give them 4 stars, if it weren’t few a few significant things. Their business model thrives on scarcity. Customers, trekking from parts of Bushwick and Ridgewood expecting a nice place for a snack and internet, are the ones that will be disappointed that they have an inventory that only lasts until about noon(despite multiple people asking for food after that time for months now), and the wifi stops working after half a dozen people start using it. It is kind of crazy to me that they don’t just stock more food and get a stronger wifi, it would easily make it the best spot in a huge area, but to have to go over there just to tell you they are out of everything and then have the internet not work, makes it a pretty dysfunctional coffee shop.

I absolutely love this place. Great coffee and exceptional service. The baristas are always very kind and genuinely friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. The coffee itself is excellent!!!

Finally a coffee shop close to home. The atmosphere is great! It’s a large space with lots of indoor tables, as well as a few outdoor seats. I’ve only tried their cold brew coffee, but it’s really really great. They offer all types of milks(soy, almond, skim, whole, etc.) at no additional cost and their simple syrup is always perfect. I’ve had the Borough Park, which is their version of a lox bagel sandwich. It’s very yummy and made with fresh ingredients. I also had the Roasted Bush, which was essentially a turkey bagel sandwich(cold). The food is OK. The coffee is good. The atmosphere is great. The workers tend to work slower than say, Starbucks, but they are always super chill.

I really want to like this café, mostly because they offer Stumptown Coffee, excellent sandwiches on Bagelsmith Bagels, and an assortment of Dough Doughnuts. However, there are a few significant downsides, which makes me ask… does Milk & Pull *want* to be an inviting space for the Ridgewood community throughout the day? It doesn’t really seem like it. Here’s why: 1. There is wifi… but it hardly ever works. And no one will tell you unless you ask.(There are no outlets either — or maybe one — but I can see why places do that.) 2. They seem to run out of food often by noon or 1pm… unless you want stale doughnuts. 3. The space is HUGE, beautiful, clean… yet there are hardly any tables. I may sound like a bitter techie. But, I repeat: Those Dough Doughnuts that sit there for(at least) several hours beg to differ. Which is such an anomaly in NYC… Maybe they should’ve opened up in a smaller«to-go» kind of space. But instead of banking on being the only café in the area, they could just as easily step up their game, and do so much better.

As a resident of Ridgewood, I’ve been looking for a local coffee shop that has excellent coffee as well as an enjoyable atmosphere where you want to spend your afternoon. I am thrilled that Milk & Pull opened a second location nearby. They have a warm industrial space with great sunlight and lots of open room. Free wifi and tables make it double as a working space if needed. Tip: pastry goodies don’t get replenished, so get there early. As a bonus, they have an assortment of milk alternatives for those seeking non dairy options.

Milk and Pull, you get five stars… why? Cause you friggin’ rock. Let’s be real, this is an up-and-coming, super chill, super legit neighborhood that is near and dear to my heart. I am giving plus one star just because the owners were awesome and smart enough to open up this location. There I was fussing with a generously stuffed bag of Stumptown coffee when I hear«are you looking for the roasting date?» I look over surprised and pleased as I replied«yes» to which this young woman replies by lifting up a larger bag from under the espresso machine and says«July 2nd” — 2 days before — So, I am like, «UH okay, this is what I am talking about #iloveyou» as I strolled to the cash register to get a sweet little latte. I said, «so uh… I don’t have a grinder — it is on it’s way in the mail» — to which she replied, «hmm, let’s see, I can grid up half of this bag… How much do you want be to ground and what kinda brewing are you doing??? etc.» My, oh, my this woman speaks my language… Latte was wonderful and I was in bliss sippin’ on that mirco foam as I bounced home in the warm rain.

This place is cool. Their sandwiches are interesting mixing from the«Everything on Everything» with Cream Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Onions and Cucumbers to the more traditional«Borough Park» which is their play on a Lox/Cream cheese sandwich. Their interior is very hipster Brooklyn. Exposed brick, wooden shelves, with a mismatch between white tables, iron chairs and a random wooden family style table. Cool stuff. The people who tend to be at this coffee shop makes Ridgewood seem like Bizarro world. People I’ve never seen in the neighborhood just spawning to this new coffee shop. Their staff is always wearing gloves, and hats which is a plus. When there are no customers lined up they’ll be keeping the shop clean by mopping and sweeping on the regular. Some of the tables could be cleaned when previous guests leave, but besides that their cleanliness is on point compared to a lot of other coffee shops. They’re not a «Work From Home» coffee shop friendly kinda place. With only 1 outlet in the corner to keep your computer charged, you’ll have to get here early to make sure you can stay powered throughout the day. Also their wifi sucks. It consistently goes in and out, so if you’re considering on «working from home» or «Working from coffeeshop» and need internetz make sure you bring your phone to teather, or else you’ll be upset with all the constant disconnects. It would be easier if they list the fios internet password on a card or something instead of always having to ask for it… btw Wifi Passcode = 778seneca The music is cool, and isn’t too loud PLUS it’s really awesome to see the J. Cole doppelgänger guy rapping lyrics on any song playing on the radio that has a break beat. The bathroom is easily accessible. High ceilings and very large space. Unfortunately a large space encourages the stay at home dad’s to come out with their 1 and 2 year olds and let’s them run all over the place, so make sure you bring a pair of headphones so you don’t go crazy with the kids running around. They tend to run out of goods daily, so if you’re planning to grab a bite make sure it’s earlier in the day or at least an hour or two before they close else there’s a good chance the food wont be in stock.

Yay! So happy to welcome this new location of Milk & Pull to Ridgewood! This beautiful and spacious coffee shop has so much to offer: lots of seating, a simple drinks menu, and delicious sandwiches, pastries, donuts(from Dough), and bagels. Yum. The Borough Park sandwich(lox, capers, onions, tomatoes, cream cheese) is only $ 6.50 and is probably the best lox deal in Ridgewood. The veggie sandwich is also a great choice. The staff is friendly, the wifi is aplently, what’s not to love?! Tried a soy chai, and it definitely passes the taste test(nothing spectacular, but it meets the mark. Would drink again). The parfait is also good and loaded with lots of granola(you can add banana or honey for extra $$$). Oh, they can get a bit crowded and run out of pastries pretty quickly, but just get there early and you’ll be good.

New guys in Ridgewood steps away from my apartment, I mean what more could I ask for? Seeing as they’ve only been open a few days I can’t wait to see what comes up next for them. 100% my new daily spot, coffee, bagels, donuts, sandwiches, chill music, chill space. I come for the lattes, everything on everything, and the donuts. The staff has always been super chill, friendly and welcoming. & it’s pretty big(bring a friend or two with you!) or a computer(there’s wifi!) (Reposting this review seeing as I accidentally deleted it! Oops!)
