It’s amazing! The best pizza in the neighborhood! The prices are great! And the food is always fresh! The service is awesome!

First off… I practically grew up at Royal Pizza back in the 80’s and 90’s when they use to have the black and Gold awning… You’ll go Inside and grab a slice, play the street fighter arcade a few rounds, grab an ice, and head across the street to watch a movie. The only slices they had were a plain cheese slice and sicilian. If you wanted a topping you had to ask. So I just came back to this joint after nearly 16 years! Completely different on the outside but the original orange seats were still there. Felt just like the good ol’ days except the whole crew behind the counter wasn’t there. I ordered my usual… a corner sicilian and a beef Patti with Mozzarella. ONPOINT and def gave me memories.

It is what it is. Good for a late night run for food when everything else in the neighborhood is closed for the night. Not something to make a destination out of but decent nonetheless.

An above average slice. I got the vegetable and my boyfriend got the plain. It wasn’t the greatest I’ve ever had, but it was very satisfying with a great crust, good amount of toppings and cheese, and flavorful sauce. We went inside the pizzeria, so I have yet to try the delivery from them.

I was walking down Myrtle after 10 p.m. last night, and this was the only pizza joint open that side of Corato. The crust was pleasingly thin and crispy, but the cheese was gooey and greasy. Satisfying in a pinch.

There are plenty of pizzerias on Myrtle Ave and lucky for you, I’ve tried them all. When it comes to a delicious pie arriving magically at your door none of them can hold a candle to Royal. Pull out the paper plates and paper towels, it’s time for a greasy, hedonistic experience. As with most pizzerias, don’t expect the same quality if you are just stopping in for a slice. In fact: for ambiance and consistent freshness of slices, I think San Remo takes the prize — but really, getting a slice anywhere is playing the pizza lottery. You should never go into that situation with your mind already made up on exactly what you want — that’s just Pizza 101, folks. If the Ninja Turtles lived in the sewers beneath Myrtle Ave, Michelangelo would have Royal’s number on speed dial in his pay-as-you-go T-Mobile Sidekick.

The plain cheese pizza here is actually pretty decent – nice thin crust and a good sauce/cheese ratio, with a pleasing hint of basil in the sauce. Not too cramped inside, and the tables were clean when I went. I don’t like that there are mirrors on the wall, though – I don’t need to see the faces I make when I’m devouring a slice of pizza, you know?

Typical crappy New York pizza. Too thick, cheap cheese, cheaper sauce. Staff was nice, the place was clean, and the service quick and snappy.

Last time I was here was about three months ago… so old review. um yummmy. The place is pretty clean, with a LOT of open late night and right accross from the movie theaters. I love a regular or pepperoni slice, their galic bread is pretty good has outdoor seating which is pretty nice and relaxed. Perfect for a saturday morning quick stop while shopping.
