I have actually been going to the nail salon since I was a pre-teen but I’ve only just realized that it isn’t the cleanest nail salon on Fresh Pond. The acrylic tips are done in a hurry and start chipping a week later. The pedicures have been disappointing. They rush the pedicures(which I look forward to all month), they always cut my toes and leave my toe nails crocked. My feet never feel clean walking out of there because they basically cut the nails, cut your skin and paint over cuts, which burns like heck! They used to be better but the new people they have hired are sinking the entire ship. On top of it all, the place just looks outdated and everyone working there looks miserable. I just can’t go there anymore!

I have lived around the area for more than 10yrs and started coming about 5yrs ago and have been very satisfied with the service. Tony is the one with who majority of the times I get my nails done and the job is awesome. although he works only by appointments it’s very convinient. the rest of the staff is very friendly. I moved to Long Island and it’s worth the trip. I can not go anywhere else but this place. I highly recommend them and there prices are not that bad and the job is well done.

So I have always lived in Glendale my whole life and heard many good things about this place, so I decided to try it out two weeks ago. I would never go back here. The lady May who did my nails was ready rude and cut me like three times, and rushed her job. She then got into an argument with this nice Spanish lady doing my sisters nails right next to me, She was very professional about it and ignored May. All I have to Say is they should hire some new staff.

It’s apparent that they have idiots working here. I was looking for a new nail salon since I have come to the conclusion that all of myrtle avenue sucks for nails. I was interested in coming here so I decided to call beforehand to ask how much a set of tips was before I left to go there. The conversation: «Hello?», «Hi, how much is a set of tips?» *Gets hung up on* [Maybe she didn’t hear me or something no problem… calls back] So I call back again«Hi, is this the nail salon?» Lady on the phone mumbles«yes». «Okay, how much do you charge for a set of tips?» Her answer: «I don’t know» Seriously??? You work at this nail salon and you don’t know what the prices are? And you don’t understand basic English as well and cant conduct yourself properly over the phone for business? What an embarassment. I decided that if these people are that stupid over the phone I don’t even want to deal with them in person or have them go anywhere near my nails. You people need to check who you have answering the phone because you just lost a potential customer that gets her nails done constantly and always tips well over that stupidity and gave a very bad impression of your business to someone. I ended up going somewhere else in the area after this instead and am in love with how good they did my nails so thank you lady for not knowing you did me a huge favor; but here’s what happens when you have clueless idiots answer the phone.

cheap prices, they do nice eyebrows however I wouldn’t recommend manicures as their polish is cheap I got one several years ago and it chipped the same day. I will get a pedicure here if I’m too lazy to walk to myrtle ave. The place itself is kind of old and dirty needs modernization and clean up. CASH only.

Tony is the best. I can’t go anywhere else to get my nails done.(Acrylic) Fast and perfect. Seriously, he’s the best. I drive 1 hour to get there from work and 1 hour to get back home. He’s worth the trip !’

Came here because I was trying to go to a store on the same st. that was closed. It was also a rainy, crappy day, so I ducked in this nail spot to wait out the rain and get a mani. The place was tiny and had an old school 90’s vibe with poster boards around the salon with prices and specials. Where’s the OPI polish?! I’ve yet to see my fave brand of polish in any BK/Queens nail place, but I settled with a light pink Essie color. The mani was good, but when she put on the polish, shit hit the fan. It came out super thick and goopy, but the color looked pretty good. I sat under the dryer for 10 – 15 mins which should be plenty of time. I walked over to the store that was finally opened, pick up an item and BOOM3 of my nails ruined. I think the polish was old, and that’s where it all went wrong. Yeah it was like $ 6, but I could have done my own nails and ruined them at home for free.

I love the way they do acrylics and airbrushing, but the pedicure sucked :(

how has no one reviewed this place yet? its always packed! this place is a very commercial place to get your nails done. nothing fancy at all, the place itself is unattractive on the inside. ugly floor, hideous wallpapers and outdated decorations. this is strictly a place you go to get your nails done nice and quick for a relatively cheap price. i go here at least once a week for a manicure, 6 $. i dont come here to get pampered or feel special; simply to get my nails done. they close at 8, but last week when i went they stayed open till 9 to finish up a few last customers. you can make an appointment, but they will usually accommodate you without one, even though you may have to wait.
