OMG this place was disgusting! Just had lunch with a coworker, we have been to Sushi Village and Minados both are buffet/all you can eat so we know what to expect, can’t even compare it to either one of those. Typically you expect that there is no ambiance or great service at these places, just some average sushi to stuff your face for a fixed price. Sushi X was just awful all around, salmon was the worst, they just fillet a fish in house and cut it up as sashimi. Tuna was not right, eel was gross, shrimp tempera was disgusting batter had taste of old burnt oil and it was greasy. The peppered tuna was inconsistent some light in color some so dark as if the fish had turned. The only thing that was ok was the red clam and red snapper the rest was sickening.

I’ve been here at least over 20 times. I always find myself craving to go back. It’s $ 25 for all you can eat. Be careful because they will charge you for over picking if you don’t finish. It’s also BYOB! I love this place so much! Best sushi I’ve eaten and all the appetizers are sooooo tasty(fried scallops, spring rolls, miso soup). I went there to today again and writing this review already makes me wanna go back!!!

Awesome food as always BUT while my friend and I are eating, three employees(two girls and one blonde guy) were sitting at the table next to us eating and trash talking customers. Whether it was making fun of them or their orders, just made us feel super uncomfortable because I definitely don’t want to be bad mouthed right when I leave.

Solid ayce sushi spot. Went there on mother’s day just before peak hours with a party of 4.(myself included) Overall food was good. I didn’t really like their X roll. I felt like it was kinda mushy for my taste. I expected it to be crispy because it was deep fried so that was kinda disappointing. Same goes for their pepper salmon sashimi, just a bit mushy again. But everything else was very nice. Rock shrimp was very tasty. Crab wontons were better than average. I liked their crazy lady(might have the name wrong) roll. I had just one problem with the service. They were very kind and speedy. It was my first time there so before the meal started I wanted to be clear about how they took the orders. I’ve been to ayce spots before and I wanted to confirm how many pieces they serve. The first order sheet I put 4 peppered tuna, and just so they served 4 pieces. Later towards the end I put 10 pieces of pepper tuna, then they came out with 40 pieces. Nevertheless we ate it alll, but it a huge inconsistency on their part.

The food is bombastic especially for an all you can eat restaurant. Ugh and their red bean ice cream… Very disappointed this place has low rating soley because of its service angry looks. They’re super fast and are always there to take your order. Who cares if they have a smile. You’re there to eat not looks a pretty faces.

All you can eat for $ 23. Sushi was good but not super amazing. Worth the price. Only complain was the sweet potato rolls were super chewy but the other ones were really good(special rolls and sushi ones) also their appetizers were good as well.

I don’t know why this place has such a low rating I love it here. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is it is very small and narrow and their menu could be a bit more diversified. Other than that the food is always delicious and the price is great.

This is supermarket sushi. Save your money & go elsewhere. The food is disgusting, the sushi is not fresh. They stuff everything with mushed tuna. The rice on the rolls is stale. Oh and if you feel like you want to spend your night out with crappy service & getting the worst treatment then be my guest. Service is horrible & beyond rude!

Avoid at all costs. I went with some friends after reading some pretty decent reviews and was beyond disappointed. The place is dreary and the hostess took us to a table near the back. This whole area smelled like rotten fish the whole time we were there. Being big sushi eaters, we all got the AYCE which was a big mistake. Everything sounded appetizing but nothing tasted good. Fish tasted old and anything that was fried was drenched in oil. We ordered tempura vegetables and nothing was sliced before going into the fryer. The large size of the vegetables only absorbed more oil so when you bit into it rivers of oil bled out. Definitely will not be returning.

Sushi X is definitely worth going to, their sushi is really good and for the offer they have it isn’t that bad. What is nice and convenient is that you can bring your own drinks(BYOD) kind of place and its nice. When you go in the buffet style sushi is $ 25.00 for anything and as much as you want, but what people tend to misunderstand is that their rolls are huge! And it is a lot that is given. The downside of it, because sushi fills you up quickly, if there is a lot of a roll left over they charge for the extra that is left. It is better to order one or two at a time and if more is wanted to order it after the first two rolls are complete since there is a menu that is given out after sitting down and after the appetizers. I was also told, not 100% sure about it, but that the Green Tea Ice-cream is pretty good and is a must try item. The downside is that the place is ridiculously small and barely fits the people that are in it as it gets, and surrounding the area are fly traps/tapes which doesn’t make it seem too appetizing but regardless of the flies, it is fairly clean for a sushi spot.

Food is decent at best, service is horrible. Went tonight with a picky 10 year old who was only ordering chicken teriyaki and soup from the normal menu while the rest of us ordered a lot from the unlimited menu. We were told that the 10 year old had to be charged as full price unlimited menu… pay unlimited price for a $ 6 meal… c’mon that’s ridiculous! As for the rest of the food it was decent, I’ve never had any complaints in the years I’ve been coming here. Only complaint I would have tonight is that my drinking cup was SO dirty… like old lettuce stuck inside of it and the bathrooms were… YUCK. Come here without kids and without regard to health code…

I came here with four people on a Friday night around 7:00. We only had to wait about 10 minutes. The price is right at $ 25 for all you can eat. The miso soup was good, but the ginger salad was meh. Overall the sushi was decent. Definitely not the best and freshest I’ve ever tasted, but good. The peppered salmon sashimi was yummy. BYOB.

All you can eat Sushi $ 25 I seem to always come here when my brother is in town who can eat a whole elephant ha — so this place hits the mark. The sushi is OK(not the best I ever had) but for that price its ok. They give you paper forms to fill out like most all you can eat places. They are slow to make it — which I assume is done on purpose so you don’t keep ordering more ha. They also WILL charge you extra if you do not finish whats on your plate(happened once to us). Pros: Cheap good all you can eat sushi Pros: BYOB!!! Con: Place is a little dirty and needs a cleaning Con: They service is not the friendliest

Mixed feelings about this place. Most of it stems from the fact that it looked kinda gross inside. There was a huge a mount of dust in several spots, and the area we sat in looked like an unfinished basement. They have a really good selection of kitchen items and rolls — the best being tuna tartare: a pile of shaved tuna shaped into a heart, covered in panko and topped with spicy mayo. Tasted as awesome as it looked. Another notable item were their beef short ribs. Although not slow cooked, they used some sort of soy faux bbq sauce, and I have to admit I kinda liked it. I would have loved it if it was slow cooked until tender. While I wouldn’t say the rolls were amazing, they definitely had a good variety. Quite a few items using mango, soy paper and more than usual of spicy mayo. Of course I had my usual rainbow roll, salmon skin maki rolls and spider roll, as well. The service was really good. Our group of 8 were there for close to 3 hours on New Years Day, and they didn’t rush us out. Also, someone in our group was a bit overzealous with her order, and we ended up with quite a few pieces. They charged us less than $ 1 per piece remaining. Overall, not bad, but I would really like for them to clean the place up.

Sushi X is a fabulous AYCE sushi place. They have really great appetizers and the staff is quick and friendly. I’ve been to Sushi X twice now already and enjoy it each time I go. The place is very tight and will get crowded fast. Be sure to make a reservation! Definitely try the pepper tuna appetizer! Yum!

First things first. A restaurant is only as clean as it’s bathroom. A herd of goats would run for the hills in this bottom barrel dirty dog bathroom. Check out this flypaper and urine soaked«floor.» This place is a poop stain on the underpants of humanity. It’s a third world bathroom. The jap-latrine hasn’t been cleaned since Sun Yat Sen was Chief Tagonizer. Good luck drying your hands on nothing. The food? Why bother? Very nice people working, very cheap careless management skimping.

I’ve only had the $ 25 all you can eat special, and yes, it really is $ 25 for all you CAN eat. They charge for uneaten food. They are pretty fair with disclosing this information to customers. We were always reminded to not over order in a pleasant manner. The wait for food was fair despite the fact that they were busy on a Friday night. Environment was awesome. Even though it was packed, we weren’t on top of other parties. The spacing is comfortable. Waitstaff was pleasant and approachable. The sushi was great with great portions(some restaurants skimp out on some ingredients, but Sushi X was the opposite of stingy) We enjoyed the calamari and chicken and shrimp tempura. The fire cracker sushi was amazing and is my new favorite… I definitely recommend!

I’ve gone here for years with friends and will keep coming back. I’m rating this for the ease of price and experience over quality of sushi. Remember, you get what you pay for. The rice is not top of the line but it’s still pretty well cooked. The quality of the fish isn’t too bad either. I’m not a huge fan of their spicy tuna or spicy salmon — those ones are sometimes fishy tasting so I recommend getting the regular cut version of those fish. Edamame — make sure you ask them not to over cook it Order for apps: pepper tuna, tuna tartar, steamed shumai The have a great selection of special rolls too! It’s BYO.

I came here over the summer with a guy I was seeing. We were both starving and craving sushi, he opened up my world to this place. It’s definitely small and not fancy but clean and the service was pretty good. They were accommodating with the refills and removing our plates. Beware if you don’t finish the majority they will Charge you for the weight you didn’t eat. So Try to under order you can always ask for additional sushi after you have finished your initial order. I can’t say the sushi was exceptional but it was good and decent quality: The appetizers are really small plates so be mindful of that when ordering. I am allergic to sesame seeds and they were able to take care of that. Overall it was a good experience and I will come back at some point in the near future!
