Are these desserts even real? Everything here looks amazing. I just moved to Ridgewood, so I was checking out the area off of Fresh Pond Road. I was craving coffee, so their advertised pumpkin spice latte caught my attention. When I walked it, I was amazed by their assortment of amazing baked goods, cakes, and pies. I never thought a cake could look so beautiful. I would describe it as a cute little Polish bakery with café essentials. The owners are really nice and friendly. There’s even plenty of space to sit down with your coffee. They also had my favorite Polish dessert cookies that looked absolutely mouthwatering. It’s definitely a hidden gem for New York.

I visited The Nest Fine Desserts bakery and café to pick up some cookies and pastries for an ill friend. The bakery is located on a busy stretch of Fresh Pond Road. The bakery interior is modern with some cool black and white pictures of 1940’s era NYC. The owners are originally from Romania and the cookies and pastries are definitely European, very similar to Italian. They have some unique Romanian treats such as strudels and rum deserts. The pastries are fresh and tasty. The bakery is very clean and the owner was nice enough to engage me in conversation about the different Romanian treats. My cousin bought a cherry pie and it was delicious too. Prices are good with strudels priced at $ 1.85 each! I highly recommend this bakery!

I was on vacation in New York and went to visit a friend in this neighborhood and stumbled upon this hidden gem. I felt it was necessary to expose them to you all. This bakery does not only have amazing desserts but you can taste the quality in every bite. Everything was so fresh. They were very nice and helpful while I asked dozens of questions as usual before I chose a few deserts. «fine» desserts. I would say that the chocolate mousse bites, cookies and three layered cake were more than«fine.» Oh and they sell coffee… by the pound. This hidden gem or nest is definitely a stop I will visit when I return, I hope you do too!
