This Sheetz gas station lay on the way from Niagara to DC. I stopped here to fuel up and get some coffee. It is located in a small town in the PA countryside. The convenience store is very well stocked, more so than most gas stations convenience stores I know. Their large assortment of coffee is a big plus. The store and its restrooms were clean and orderly. The line here moved fast, and the locals were very friendly. The gas was reasonably priced, and the stay here was short but comfortable. There is nothing much else to add about this place, other than a very convenient stop along the way.

Gotta love a Sheetz gas station — they really have everything you could want from a quick-stop jawn in mid-PA. We filled up on gas, took a rest break, visited the very clean restrooms(complete with framed plaques that guarantee their cleanliness), and grabbed a few munchies. I love the iconic expansive soda machines and the F’real ice cream blending machines which create concoctions just like DQ Blizzards. Of course, Sheetz also offers plenty of hot sandwiches, soups, and other meal creations which don’t taste like they’re from a gas station! This is Ridgway, PA, so the attendants were super friendly and helpful! If I have the opportunity to revisit this town, I would be happy to stop by this Sheetz again.

1 word accurately describes this place… OASIS !!! Driving from DC to Niagara Falls and back, this gas station /convenience store was a god send. The majority of this route is rural highways and NOT interstate driving. So you don’t get any of the creature comforts that rest areas provide you such as gas stations, fast food restaurants, convenience stores, visitors centers, and most importantly BATHROOMS!!! This route is for the rugged truck driver or automotive adventurist looking for a place to exercise and even push the limits of every gear in his car. Punching the gas to pass the big rigs, going down hills using your lower gears(4,3,2,1…not just the ones marked R, N, D) on your automatic, giving your brakes a full workout, flickering your low/high beams, squeezing the life out of your steering wheel for that chance deer encounter or other wildlife for that matter, and bug splattered windshields. All that to say this is a LONGHARD trip, so it’s absolutely surprising to see this oasis of a station. The mart is very nice and welcoming, modern and clean, and stocked with a variety of food and snacks. The bathroom is even baby/kid friendly with diaper changing station and child seat in the men’s bathroom. My only complaint is there is only 1 toilet stall… but at least it was clean and didn’t stink. We actually passed by it, before we decided it was a good idea to turn around and stop by, because we weren’t seeing any«rest areas». Thank god we did.
