Great place close to home. The food is always good no matter what you pick on the menu. You can’t beat the quality of food for the price. The bar atmosphere is very nice to go have a beer and a sandwich

I remember when this place was Burkes Bend. Once it became Caseys, it was such an improvement to the former restaurant. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, and also smiling. It’s one of only a few restaurants/bars that carries Angry Orchard on tap, which is a huge decision-maker as to which establishments I will patronize. I’ve always be pleased with the servers and bartenders. However, a few coworkers and I came Caseys for lunch, which we did at least once a week. The server dropped the food on myself and one of my coworkers, without apologizing. She walked away as if nothing happened. As someone who has worked in bars and restaurants for over 10 years, I have high expectations at all establishments. I understand mistakes happen, but the attitude and non admittance of dropping the food on myself and coworker made us extremely disappointed with the service we received that day. With that being said, I still recommend Caseys because of the staff and environment.

I think I’ve come here enough to write this review. Granted I only come after work for happy hour Casey’s has more to offer. The upstairs deck is great to hangout on. The second floor bar means you don’t have to go all the way downstairs for a drink or have a long wait. The drinks are good some bartenders are more heavy handed than others. The food is great for the happy hour price. I’ve had the burgers, wings, nachos, chicken fingers, soup. All have been good. My next test for Casey’s will be to come by on football Sunday.

One of the most underrated pubs in all of Delaware County. Space is incredible. From the dugout, to the upstairs bar, to the 3rd floor party space. The food is excellent here. I’ve never had a bad meal. Good selection of beers including some local crafts such as Yards and Victory. Just an overall good experience.

Solid spot! Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. Really good burgers. Also try the nachos they are fantastic to share with the table as an appetizer. And surprisingly it’s my kids favorite restaurant. I’m trying takeout for the first time today do we’ll see how it is, I’m sure it’ll be great.

A great local tavern/restaurant in Drexel Hill. A Drexel Hill institution, and for good reason. Atmosphere: A neighborhood bar and grill. You will always be greeted by a friendly server whether in the restaurant area, or the bar area. Food: Very good. Burgers are good, wings are good, apps are good. Good beer selection on draft. Service: Always get a friendly waitress. Prices: Very reasonable. There is also a kids menu, so if you have kids they will be welcome here. My kids love it. They even do the usual and bring the kids crayons. Overall a great place. Certainly a go-to place for any Drexel Hillian(?) and for good reason. Good food at a fair price with good customer service. What more could you want? One last thing. Many TVs in the bar area. Good place to watch a game.

Solid bar will decent beer prices, decent food options and above average service… depending on who is working. I haven’t been here a ton but I have enjoyed my experience both times I’ve been in. The food here is above average on taste, the prices on certain items are high but overall you get a good bang for your buck. You almost always have to pack out back and walk about because the parking in front is very limited. Restaurant area is clean with lots of TV options if you’re trying to watch a particular game the staff has always put on whenever event we requested. You can do a lot worse than going to Casey’s.

I am going to start by saying that we have not been to Casey’s since about November. and I have been meaning to post this since then. We have stopped going since our last experience at this establishment which is a shame, because we really enjoyed coming here. We were really excited to try this place after driving by on our daily commutes and looking at the menu online. The first time we came here we sat downstairs at a table. We were told by the bar patrons that we could sit anywhere since the bartender was nowhere to be found. After waiting for someone to come to our table, another bar patron brought us menus. Yes, a customer brought us our menus because even they knew how bad the service is here. Finally a waitress(who was very nice, albeit slow) came to our table. The food was good, the draft beer ok, and our service was friendly even though it was not very prompt and we still tipped the usual 20%. The next time we came, we decided to try sitting at the bar upstairs. Being a bartender myself of many years, I know that you usually have a better experience sitting at the bar. We were one of two couples sitting at the bar upstairs on this particular afternoon. The bartender was nowhere to be found. Another employee told us that the bartender would be right over to help us but she was busy. As I said before, we were 2 of 4 people at the bar, and there was one table in the bar area. After about 15 minutes of waiting the bartender finally surfaced. She was a younger blonde girl who was obviously had little experience by the bar, as she was flustered by 4 customers. She was unpleasant and rude to us, and seemed genuinely annoyed when we wanted not only drinks from her(at a bar?!) but also food. Once again, service was slow but the food was good and we once again tipped the usual 20%, chalking it up to her having a bad day. The third and final time we have been to this Casey’s location was on a semi-busy Saturday night. We brought a third person along with us and had no problem finding a seat at the bar. There were two bartenders, one of which was the blonde girl from the last time we were there. She not only completely ignored us the entire time but actually snapped at our friend when he attempted to get her attention, which most of the time was spent on her phone. Finally, the second bartender came over to us, who was also rude and seemed genuinely annoyed that we were ordering drinks and food from him. We all got one Dogfish Head each, and some food and after attempting to flag down both bartenders several times with no luck, we finally gave up, asked for our check and left a proper tip for the service, about 10%. Never in all of my years have I ever had such degrading, rude and downright appalling service at a bar. Needless to say we have not been back to Casey’s. We may try the Drexel Hill location and hope for better service. Really such a shame. Get a better, friendlier staff!

Casey’s is consistently just right! I’ve been there for a few different occasions. I had my wedding rehearsal dinner in their private room upstairs. Went there with my girls for late dinner and drinks on my birthday. The DJ was great that night. And o other time just to grab a bite and chill, either inside or on the deck outside. We always enjoy the band too. The food is really good, and the service is always friendly and quick. Local favorite. I’d go there before Ruby’s or Apples…

I don’t want to sound picky, but… I had the Reuben. The taste of the individual parts were good, but the sandwich was piled together so that I never got a taste of all the ingredients in any one bite. I tried eating it with a knife and fork… same deal. The steak fries were either overcooked or reheated, I’m going with reheated because they were a little greasy. The saving grace was that the beer was very cold! If you’re going, don’t have the Reuben. Have a beer and an app of some sort.

I have been here several times for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is very clean and each time the staff has been very friendly and accommodating. The food has been terrific and never a disappointment. The third floor is very nice for a party or large get together. There is a nice bar, plenty of seating and a large deck which is great on a nice day. I had my daughters communion party there and the atmosphere, staff and food were outstanding !!

Nice place. The times I have been here I have had no problem with service. I guess is because I come in Sundays not in a Saturday or Friday. The second floor bartender seen pretty cool and very helpful.

Hey bartender, get off your phone and get me a drink. This guy was looking at his phone or watching tv every couple minutes non discretely. I was never asked if I wanted another drink after my first one, and could not get his attention. The girl bartenders I had to flag down. They were in their own world as well. Giving 2 stars for the good food and good music. Will not be coming here again due to the bad service.

Been here twice in two days. Had a plain ol burger first night with my choice of toppings and a few beers(two thumbs up). Ordered a drink we looked up online and the bartender was awesome about it! Second night was a catered private event and the staff was amazing. I’ll Definitely come to Casey’s whenever I’m in town!!!

I really like this place. We go about once a month. the roast beef is great. the home made chips are really good. Usually there is meat on the nachos, although last time, they put chili on it. didn’t like that. The waitresses are usually very friendly, It is very comfortable there. I like that you can sit outside. Don’t like going up 3 flights of steps to get to the top floor, but it’s nice, clean and the food is good. I’m definitely a fan! Can’t wait to try their all you can eat crabs.

Went here for a quick bite and a beer. I sat at the bar and had to wait 15 minutes for the bartender, he was somewhere else in the building and there were about 8 – 10 customers at the bar. I ordered the french onion soup and a buffalo chicken sandwich, you’d think common sense would tell them I wanted the soup first. My sandwich came out first and the bartender served it to me kind of laughed and said the rest of you food will be out shortly… My soup didn’t come out for another 20 minutes! How hard is it to get soup out before a sandwich? The service at this place was horrible, the bartender could not do more than on thing at a time. I tried to get a second beer for about 15 minutes and its not like place was crowded by any means. Bottom line is that there are better options in the area with far superior service and have more friendly and welcoming staffs.

I went there for dinner last night with a friend and both of our meals were not good. Service and atmosphere were great but the place was dead. My friend ordered some kind of seafood chowder and she couldn’t even eat it and her crab cake sandwich wasn’t very good either. I ordered the grilled chicken in an herb sauce and it wasn’t very tasty and the mashed potatoes came out of a box. Plus our rolls were stale. The only things like we liked were the homemade chips, steak fries and my Caesar salad. I hope the food gets better or I will just keep going to Barnaby’s.

Ah yes, just what Delco needs… another bar and grill. So I’ll start with a disclaimer or two. First off, I visited the Drexel Hill Casey’s about 4 years ago, and wasn’t impressed. I really didn’t want that to influence my review here though. But admittedly my expectations were low. Secondly, I’m a bit disappointed because this place replaced Nora Lee’s in this space, and I loved Nora Lee’s. I’ll say this right up front. The fact that we lost a New Orleans style restaurant that served great food and gained yet another neighborhood style bar and grill in these parts is a net loss to me. I’m sorry. We have too many choices in Delco for this type of atmosphere. So what that means is Casey’s really has to bring something different to the table to make me want to come here instead of Barnaby’s for example. Casey’s, you gotta wow me! I’ll say this… everything in the joint looks new, so they have that going for them. The upstairs is laid out very well and I could be comfortable up there. The downstairs… not so much. Since I walked in the door by the downstairs bar, I sat right there just because. I know what they are trying to do. They built the downstairs area to be more close knit, and more neighborhood bar-like to be separate from the upstairs music atmosphere, which is admirable. Problem is, the downstairs bar the way it is built feels more like a bar in someone’s basement that is two sizes too big for the space. Nice try, but cramped. And really, we have more than enough«neighborhood bars» in Delco. Give me something a little better than that. But two things are important, the food and the service. I’ll say that service wise, the bartender who served me, Gail, was as nice as can be. I enjoyed chatting with her, and she took good care of me. Give her a raise! Now the food… my first thought is that I wanted to see something on the menu that caught my eye and set this place apart. Something to say that«Hey, we’re not the same ol Delco place you’ve seen a hundred times before!» Nope, didn’t find that. Although I am told that they will be having a carving station in the future(and they will have to beat Tom and Jerry’s which is an excellent place for a sandwich), nothing jumped at me as a must try dish. So I asked Gail to recommend something. She recommended the Reuben sandwich, saying that they were selling a lot of them, and people were calling it the best Reuben they ever had. OK… sold! So, for $ 8.49 I got a decent sized Reuben with homemade chips. Also, for $ 5.50 I got a pint of Sam Adams Winter Ale. By the way… tap beer selection downstairs is somewhat minimal, another disappointment which I hope they expand. I won’t call it the best Reuben I ever had(New York delis… you can’t beat them). However, judging by the fact that I polished it off, and wanted more of the chips afterward, I felt satisfied. I might not make this a destination place. I don’t think I’m telling anyone from out of town that when they come here they gotta try Casey’s. Maybe someday they’ll get to that level. But, if you sit upstairs, and if you like Reuben sandwiches and Sam Adams beer, it’s not too bad. I may come back and try the carving station to give them a shot at wowing me. But really, if they’re just going to do the same thing that they did in Drexel Hill, well it might work for them. It just won’t work for me.
