We came here because another establishment didn’t want to serve us.
Thank you to that establishment because had it not been for their poor service we wouldn’t have found this gem!
They offer salads, sandwiches, baked goods and coffee — I didn’t have any coffee but it smelled good for the people who ordered it!
My pastrami sandwich was absolutely delish! It came with vegetables and what tasted like some kind of garlic hummus… it was good though!
The girl taking orders, cashiering, making coffee drinks, bringing out food, and cleaning tables was absolutely wonderful! She was pleasant, courteous, and attentive. Big difference from the other place, but even more than that, she really seemed to appreciate her customers.
Big bonus is that their namesake is super cute!

With very specific food allergies, I was able to have a wonderful breakfast at a low price point. I am very excited for an opportunity to eat out, as most places offer no accommodations for food sensitivities. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone that enjoys quality, healthy, locally sourced food. The staff was friendly and quick to offer additional options and tasty suggestions. Both sit down and on the go, this is a great place to dine or snack!

Nice people and very helpful too. Had to have a quick Internet conference call, and some good grub too. Had the Gyro salad and it was the perfect lunch for me.

The food is really good and fresh! The food is what is keeping this place in business. The hummus was ok but, the” hot pig“sandwich is so good I would go back just for that. The ordering process stinks though. Order at the counter rather than having someone come to you is what you expect when you want to go sit and visit with friends and very inconvenient with kids. They charge $ 1 for a small bag of chips and then ask for tips when the cashier doesn’t do any extra work.

We want to chime in on the other Unilocal reviews. What a precious gem of a breakfast spot. I had the Third Street scramble. Delicious! Well prepared with very fresh ingredients. My husband had the Whistle Pig Plate. Also well prepared and yum. The finishing touch was the pecan sticky bun. Outstanding!!! If you find yourself in Rifle at breakfast time you should stop in. You’ll be glad you did.

Yum! So glad I found this place on our way home to Utah. This place provides fresh local quality food. We had the breakfast wrap and breakfast sandwich. Both were perfect. Also the coffee was so tasty and I love that they have honey and agave as sweeteners. We will be back during our next road trip!

Stopped in on NY day with 2 adults and 3 kiddos. Something for everyone that we all enjoyed! My fave was the huevos plate! Even got a second breakfast burrito to go. Friendly service and cute is historical building.

Came into this place on a whim. I had their signature Whistle Pig sandwich. Turned out that day they were serving it with a spicy cream cheese and jalapeño cheddar bagel. It was fantastic!
The décor and atmosphere was really nice and what you would expect from small-​town Colorado: laid back, clean, and inviting.
The service was excellent, in fact it was the woman working the front that suggested the sandwich. They’re very friendly and attentive. The food was prepared from scratch, but came out in a good amount of time.
I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this place. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for delicious, local food.

Coffee is excellent. The food is very fresh and yummy. Breakfast and lunch here are a must. This town needed a coffee place other than Starbucks. I can’t forget about the pastures. It was explained to me by the helpful counter lady that it is baked fresh daily. Very very very good.

Stumbled upon this place for breakfast while on a road trip that brought us through Rifle and was pleasantly surprised! The space is very old, well decorated, and most importantly clean!
The staff is incredibly friendly and the service was fast even though everything was made fresh. There’s also an array of baked goods which are hard to say no to!
I had the yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and homemade granola which was the perfect size — very filling but not to the point that I couldn’t finish it. My boyfriend who is picky with his breakfast wraps had the whistling pig wrap and kept saying how great it was.
Unfortunately we’re from out of town so we can’t become regulars but if we’re ever in the area again we’ll be sure to stop by!
