Oh, hell. What’s not to love about this place? Set deceptively close to Danville, this is the kind of auction house where you’re transported to a different time and a markedly more rural place. Like most small-town auctions, there was a goodly amount of junk in there, but there were also some real gems to be had. The auctioneer had a great patter that I enjoyed immensely, and his sense of humor was perfect for this audience. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the homemade refreshments are worth coming for alone.
