Ken’s Automotive

This is best auto repair shop I found in the area in terms of honesty and price and service! My break were changed quickly and efficiently, I highly recommend this shop and will use them for my needs from now on.
And to top it off I got great snacks to take with me!

I have never written a bad review before, but my experience with Ken’s automotive warrants it. When my car broke down near his shop he replaced the distributor. I picked my car up the next day, and on my way to work it broke down again. The problem being the distributor he just put in. Putting a bad part in a car is an honest mistake. It’s the way he handled the situation that gets one star.
When I told him of the problem, he offered me a lot of excuses, but did next to nothing to help me. At this point, he is refusing to refund me for the part, even though I brought it back to him and offered him documentation that would allow him to return it to the distribution center he bought it from. He insists that I have to return it myself, and seems to think that that is possible, even though I purchased the part from him and not the distribution center.
Ken did not take responsibility for the giant inconvenience my trip to his garage caused me. The job of a mechanic is to fix cars. Going to Ken’s automotive cost me $ 400 and did not fix my car at all. I had to get the exact same thing done two days later to get my car running.
Basically going to Ken’s automotive was a giant, unproductive, expensive pain in the ass.
