We love this place! The wine is good and the ambiance makes it even better. They have a wonderful patio and fun educational events. Most recently we did a wine and food pairing with Lauren the manager. Lauren was fantastic and so knowledgable. The food and wine pairing was so simple yet delicious. I recommend this place for everyone!

Went here for a bridal shower last weekend. The location is pretty and the wine was delicious. I only tried the Malbec but I would go back to taste others. And I don’t live all that close either. But it was easy to get to and it wasn’t too big of a place. The lady that poured the wine and cleared the tables was really nice. Enjoyed my visit.

At a festival today I ordered a glass of their«dry white», a Chardonnay. Cloyingly sweet. I’d prefer water. Sorry but it’s impossible to get past a faulty characterization and try another glass for $ 7. Some of the food was very good! Would have enjoyed a dry white.

I was very disappointed with Old York Cellars. My boyfriend and I are on a mission to complete the NJ wine passport. We stopped by Old York on Sunday with a Groupon he found online for a wine and chocolate tasting. We happened to have another couple with us and were stopping by a few area wineries. When pulling up, it looks like something very special. Nicely manicured grounds, a beautiful patio to sit outside on, pretty buildings. However once inside on this busy Sunday the beauty on the outside turns into chaos on the inside. When we walked in, it was crowded and our group patiently awaited a turn at the tasting counter. Once a spot opened up, the younger gentlemen behind the counter quickly barked at us «Did you check in with Charlene?»(I think that was the name, not 100% on that). I replied no, there is no one checking people in. He said«You have to check in first!» Surprised by this, we walked away from the counter in search of «Charlene». She came out of the back and did apologize for not being at her post, she took our name, asked us what we type of tasting and if anyone had a Groupon. We told her we did have the Groupon for wine and chocolate pairing. She seemed to make a note of it somewhere, but apparently not. She escorted us over to the same spot and server that barked at us to check-in(it had been empty that whole time). We told him we had the Groupon, and he gave us tasting sheets and told us to pick the ones we wanted. We started the tasting, and our server ran away to do something else. Then we had a woman come over and continue our tasting, then she left and we had an older gentlemen finish us up. Long story short, we never got the chocolate pairing we were supposed to, and he kept pouring the wrong wines, then dumping them out. Also, the tasting room staff were fighting over open bottles, waiting for other staff to complete a tasting. Why don’t they open another bottle??? It was so crowded and the entire experience was ruined mostly from the poor customer service and uninviting greeting, we didn’t even question them about the missing chocolate. We were just happy to get out of there and move on. I don’t know if I will ever go back, I feel like this might be an «ok» place if it is not crowded or if they teach their staff basic customer service skills. Thankfully we live about an hour away so this isn’t a local place. If you’re looking for a better experience, wine, and customer service… I suggest going down the road to Unionville.

Came here cause it was a gift to us. As a non drinker. Tasting is not bad deal. Got me out of driving home. Lol The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Friendly and ready to serve you. Very interesting place. They make the wine right here at the winery. That area we were able to look at but it was not being used. Such a small operation but they are winning awards for the wines they are producing. The vines weren’t blooming today but the over look of the area is very nice and relaxing atmosphere. The tasting was nice. They give you chocolate for pairings of wine. There are crackers available if you prefer. On a summer evening I can see this place bring crowded and very photo taken pretty. With the fruit developed on the vines and all the coloring that would be around here. Would make for great photos at sunset. Definitely a place to return.

The wine is ok. Nothing too spectacular and definitely not worth the price. Another negative has been my experience with the staff. I’ve gone to a few of the events that they hold throughout the year and they tend to get pretty busy, which seems to make some(but not all!) of the staff members behind the bar miserable. One guy in particular, who actually might have been the manager, was extremely condescending when asking for my ID and then proceeded to treat me as if I had no business being there. When I was asking him to explain some of the wines he was annoyed and short with his answers, and when I asked about a box of chocolates that was on the counter he quickly cut me off with a «those aren’t for you». Watch your attitude buddy. The architecture of the buildings and the outdoor patio are beautiful though, but those might be the only redeeming qualities.

Took hubby here couple of weeks ago. The fall weather was perfect. They sell small bag of cheese and crackers with a cheese knife and little cutting board. We sat outside in the nice fall weather, bought some raw honey, walked around took pictures. We were for a fundraiser. Hey! They have happy hours in the afternoon on weekends. How great is that? Highly recommended.

5 stars — hands down. I came with friends on a beautiful fall day, and we were only the 2nd group to arrive around noon so it wasn’t busy yet. We had our tasting with Tim and he was really friendly and knowledgeable about each of the wines. The wines we tried were really good, but it doesn’t take a lot to please me when it comes to wine. It was also the vineyard’s 5 year anniversary weekend, so tastings were $ 5 and there were some other special promotions going on. The property is gorgeous and the tasting room is really beautiful as well. There was only outdoor seating, so it was pretty frigid, but we knew that going in so we dressed warmly. Highly recommended a visit. This is the NJ people should see so we stop getting such a bad rep.

Came here yesterday with my wife and parents for a wine & chocolate tasting I had purchased on Groupon for a Fathers Day present. I will start by saying I am not much of a wine lover, but my dad and wife are. They both raved about the Cabernet Sauvignon. I enjoyed the Blush very much. Chris(our sommelier) was very knowledgeable and very funny. The scenery is spectacular and the wine tasting room was pleasant. I would recommend a visit to any of my wine drinking friends.

Jersey has grapes. Jersey has wine??? Who knew. On 25 lush acres of fabulous land, great people making wine in New Jersey. «What Exit» is one of their labels, a spoof on the cliched joke about what exit off the GSP you live. Well, regardless of where you live come visit David honing his stand up material as he subtly pours and describes the wine you’re experiencing. Then pair a wine with chocolate or– as we did — buy a case for the 2015 holiday season of gifts and have a picnic in a bucolic setting. On a relaxed afternoon, gaze out over the rows of grapes to be harvested as the horses graze and the breeze blows, sound of a lawn mower buzzes in the distance. Now imagine your future. Go on. Try it. You’ll like it. It tastes sweet. With an oak finish :) Or maybe some subtle hints of apricot.

Can’t recommend these wines. Whites are not great, reds are too sweet. Cabernet Sauvignon was halfway decent, still not good. Blackberry was the best — maybe because there aren’t any grapes in it? Service was extremely friendly and personable! It’s a shame the wines don’t stand up.

Great local wine experience! Friendly service and a beautiful countryside spot was perfect for our Sunday afternoon. There’s a small but lovely patio and some extra picnic tables for byo-food closer to the vines. They also produce their own(delicious) honey and the beekeeper gives tours which I hope to return and do! A good value — a tasting of 6 wines was $ 7, took home some of our favorites. So glad this is so near!

Great marketing idea to let you buy the wine but bring in to open food. Nice bands too

Visited this winery again with friends and actually enjoyed all the wines I sampled. The Cabernet and unoaked Chardonnay were delicious. We brought some imported Italian cheeses and meats and had a great picnic out in one of their patios enjoying a bottle of wine and the beautiful views.

I was surprised how packed this winery was for Mother’s Day. There were many pushy and rude people in the tasting room. The guy who poured for us was exceptionally nice and accommodating, based on the craziness. There really should have been a more organized, better plan for tastings if they were expecting such a big crowd. The wines were great, samples of cheesecake, and free tasting for moms. I loved it and am definitely planning on coming back soon. I packed a huge picnic lunch and we went and sat out by the vines away from the hustle and bustle of the patio. Great winery!

A great surprise in the middle of New Jersey. Family owned and renovated in the past 5 years. We got a chance to talk with the parents of the owner. Zina was so much fun. The winery has a good selection. The wine tasting with chocolate is very casual. The only drawback is that the wine tasting servings are a little small. Especially if doing a pairing with chocolate. This is a good stop for a lazy afternoon. TRYTHECHOCOLATESHOTS!

Came here with a Groupon for a wine and chocolate pairing. It was pretty busy with lots of people doing the same as us. The tasting room was clean but seemed like they were going for more of a modern feel which to me felt out of place for a winery. The staff was nice but they didn’t take any time out to describe the wines or give us any background about the winery itself. I was not impressed by any of the wines either… I enjoyed the chocolate more. We didn’t leave with any bottles which is abnormal for us. With all the wineries in the area(Bucks County included), I wouldn’t waste my time again with this one.

One of the best wineries I’ve visited for a few reasons and not just because of the wine(they have some great ones!). They have really set up a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. On Friday nights in the summer you can come and buy a bottle(or two) and enjoy live music. You can even bring some snacks from home or buy food from whatever food truck has come by for the night. It’s a great relaxing night out or a great way to start the night before heading out to dinner somewhere else. I even got engaged here on a wine and music night! I am more partial to the red wines here, namely the Malbec and the stagecoach red. Last year I enjoyed the cab though. It’s nice to taste the difference in the grapes from year to year. The winery does seasonal events and festivals where vendors camp out and you can even make your own custom labels for wine that you buy. You and enjoy a tour of the vineyard and even pick the brains of the friendly staff and winemaker. It’s a great event to get a group of friends together to do something new! You certainly won’t be disappointed with a trip here!

We ended up going the day of a festival! SURPRISE — it was so fun! $ 15 for entry to it(which had free samples, petting zoo, hay ride, music, dancing, etc.) and 6 tickets for wine tasting. The dessert wines were super delectable along with the other reds on their list. We also had chocolate shot(a shot glass made of chocolate with port red inside), it was an interesting taste but still really good. To top of the day, I got a glass of Honey Sangria — it was SOGOOD — so smooth and refreshing. The sample people were all so nice and were selling home spices. Be careful with your car because the parking is on rocks or on their hilly vineyard(in the back) so make sure to bring a car that can handle that!

I recently redeemed my Groupon for a wine tasting with chocolate pairing and a souvenir wine glass for four people. The Groupon cost $ 19 total so it seemed like a good deal to me. The winery itself is quaint and beautiful. The wine tasting room seems like newer construction and has big windows with great views of the vineyard. The room leads to a small patio with tables and chairs again overlooking the vineyard. I have only ever participated in a few wine tastings and this wine tasting was one of the better ones I have done. The employees seemed knowledgable with each of the wines and were able to answer questions we had. Our Groupon allowed us to taste 6 different wines and the menu paired each of the wines with a Brix chocolate(milk, smooth, medium or dark). My favorite wine was the Syrah and I bought a bottle for $ 18. I would like to make a return trip in the Spring and sit on the patio with a glass of Old York Cellars wine in hand and cheese and grapes in the other.
