Paradiso Day Spa

I bought a Groupon for a Radiofrequency face treatment. Making the appointment was a breeze. The aesthetician, Victoria, made me feel comfortable and confident in her skills. The treatment was painless. It was actually quite realxing, like a warm stone facial. I definitely felt my skin was tighter in the days following the treatment. Now it’s a few weeks after my last (3^rd) treatment. My face does look less puffy, and the lines around my eyes are slightly decreased. My skin actually feels tighter around my cheeks and forehead. I did have a mild headache the night of treatment, and my eyes teared those evenings as well, possibly from some cream used during treatment. Those issues were gone by morning.
I would recommend the treatment as a non invasive way to treat mild wrinkles. I would recommend Victoria as a warm, caring and talented professional.

I have now been to Paradiso Day spa twice for a massage. Today I was with Sile, who was fantastic. I practically melted onto the floor and still feel like a million bucks now. I will definately be back to her for a massage again!
I also got a mini rejuvenating facial with Victoria. I told her my face gets red if you just touch it, so I was a little worried. No worries, she said, you won’t be red. She noticed my acne scars and offered to use her LED light during the masque, rather than the hand massage. Either the light is magic, or she is, because I left with a glowing face and NO redness at all. I cannot believe how great my skin looks. Even my husband noticed a difference!
I highly recommend Paradiso. It’s quaint and charming, with a little locker room and relaxation room. There’s always tea, water, cookies and other goodies there. The staff is super friendly and there’s never a rush. Go there and leave feeling like a whole new person!

Victoria is the best at what she does. I got a facial there a few weeks ago and I will never go anywhere else.
When I was 16, I was given a facial as a birthday present because I had terrible skin. I left that salon with red skin for about 3 – 4 days; I was never able to bring myself to get a facial again. While at a dinner one night recently, someone mentioned Paradiso and I decided to try it because I had just moved back to NJ from Oregon and my skin was taking a beating from the dry weather.
As soon as I laid down on the table and felt her hands on my skin, I immediately relaxed. During the «extraction» process we chatted and had very pleasant conversation — and while it distracted from the extractions, I didn’t need actually need distraction because it never once hurt, it was only uncomfortable (although, pain is quite relative and I was pinched a lot as a child). Since I’m really not one to have ever done a good job at taking care of my skin, I think she had a good time getting out all my blackheads. I knew this woman was my kind of person because finally she said, «OK. Time to move on to the relaxing part, there’s only so much time for extractions.» I like someone who tells me like it is (I’m from New Jersey, after all), but she wasn’t aggressive or judgmental. It was really refreshing. After that, neither of us said a word and my face melted like putty in her hands. When the end finally came, she reminded me that my face would be red and I waved my hand at her, figuring it would be a mess — I was expecting redness for days. As she walked out the door and I went up to the mirror and I almost cried waterfalls of joy (I didn’t, though, because I was too afraid the salt from my tears would ruin the masterpiece she had completed). There was barely any redness. It was all the «LED lamp,» she said, but I think it’s her magical hands.
Victoria further proved herself as a person to trust when iI asked for her recommendation on skin products. She didn’t push her products on me, but showed me what she had and explained why the products would be good for my skin. If I wanted to buy a different product elsewhere, I at least knew what I needed. I decided to buy what she sells because they’re not brand name products. She works directly with a manufacturer so she knows exactly what’s in the product.
I’ve never been so pleased with my skin. I don’t have to wear any foundation anymore and I feel lighter. Definitely go see Victoria.

This is a great little spa for Ringwood and nearby residents who want a little treatment without breaking their budget. It’s in a little strip mall shopping area. When you go to the door labeled Paradiso Day Spa, you need to go up a little staircase to get to the spa which is on the second floor. The front desk is right there and I have never had anything but pleasant service. Then, you go and wait in the relaxation room around the corner, which has tea, coffee, and lemon water available with chairs and gossip magazines (some which were a few weeks old, but whatever). I have never had to wait here for longer than five minutes to get service.
My sister has gone here for years to get her eyebrows done and when I’ve needed an eyebrow fix while passing through town, I’ve come here. I’ve had my eyebrows done here by Victoria twice. She’s a bit on the chatty side but does a really good job. If I lived in this area, she would be my go-​to eyebrow fix. For $ 15 the price is entirely reasonable.
The other service I have had here is the sunless tanning. I’m a very very fair person and wanted to have this done so that way I didn’t scare people with my Casper like skin when I stripped down to a bikini while on vacation. Here, they don’t use spray but use a lotion instead — something that put me very much at ease when I was scared to walk out looking like an oompa loompa. Victoria also does this service. She first exfoliates using a cold green lotion. She then goes back over with the tanning lotion which isn’t like paint, it has a bit of bronzer in it so she can see where she has applied, but the real work is done by the lotion part that works with your skin tone that way you only go a few shades darker. The entire application process took about 45 minutes. I had fantastic results! I looked tan without looking orange or like an entirely different person. The results lasted about two weeks. For about $ 60, it wasn’t cheap, but I was extremely pleased with the results and felt it was very much worth the money.
They really do specialize in massage and facials, but I have yet to try either of those. This is a great local business!
