This is one of those places that you drive by and say, «I wonder if that’s any good?» Well my friends, it’s pretty good, and pretty damn reasonable. Been here twice, gotten a smothered burrito and a handheld burrito, both with chorizo. The only bad thing I’d say is the wait time. I had to wait around 10 minutes for my smothered burrito, the handheld burrito was more around 5, but if you’re in a deep rush I might not recommend this as fast food. Which, in a way, even though it’s situated in a fast-food like location, it’s nice to know your food is being prepared as you order it. There’s really no atmosphere since there’s no inside seating, there is a patio seating but it’s pretty small. It definitely is «highway» in the sense that you just order from the window and go. I’d like to see this place succeed for sure. It’s difficult though when it’s hard to spot and seems so empty. They are very reasonably priced though, $ 7 for a big burrito that’s made to order is worth it for me. Support your locals. I hope they continue to deliver excellent food.

Stopped by today for their opening around lunchtime. They are where the Wienerschnitzel restaurant off Southern was. Walk up to order, a few tables to sit outside and a drive thru. We walked up. Friendly service and we got to watch the food be prepared. Large selection of items on the menu, what you would expect at a full sit down Mexican restaurant. I ordered the chicken nachos for myself and a kids quesadilla for my son. Nacho chips had a flavor of their own, toppings were plentiful with cheese jalapeños retried beans sour cream and guacamole. Onto the cheese quesadilla, my son is very picky especially with Mexican food. They added cheese to the top which he enjoyed and it was cut like a pizza into small pieces. He ate the whole thing. Will definitely be back to try the breakfast, they have granola on the menu which I am very interested in trying.
