Mehh… burgers are OK I guess. This place has a good road side diner atmosphere that every small town should have. I just wish it was better. After eating here once every other month or so since it changed ownership I keep waiting for some improvement. For burgers that are mehh they are SUPER expensive!

Today was my third or fourth time eating here and it was more than disappointing. On the positive side, they now have a chef who knows how to cook a burger medium rare – at least half of my patty was pink. On the other hand, the quality of the meat is poor, lots of gristle got caught in my teeth with almost every bite and the while bun was so soft, my teeth were coasted with wet bread. Won’t be going back even though it’s only 5 mins from home.

Best dine in and drive in I bin to for a long time. Best burgers and there onions rings not frozen or there burgers. Real bacon not like no Wendy’s or Mc Donald’s fake shit. They even gave my wife free avocado nice people. Best burger I ever had hands down. Next time have to try there shakes.

Best burger ANYWHERE. Burgers are handmade daily. Great prices. A favorite of the twenty-something grandkids when they come to visit.

I was on my way home to Fresno from Suisun City after a long day of duck hunting and hadn’t eaten since the previous night’s dinner and had a craving for a hot dog… and Burgerlicious was the only convenient choice between Rio Vista and home. Glad I stopped there as the dog was huge and prepared just right… on the grill. It was tasty as were the«garlic» fries, though I could barely taste any garlic. I splurged and ate ¾ of the dog and just a couple of the fries though I wish I could have eaten everything… but my gastric bypass surgery from last year just wouldn’t allow it. Honestly, I was drooling over the bacon cheeseburgers being consumed at the table next to me… but it ain’t in the cards anymore. Overall, the food was a bit better than expected… drive in style and I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again or make a recommendation.

The smell of burgers wafted out of this drive-in and filled the parking lot they share with the Mexican restaurant. I wasn’t headed here, but could not resist the wonderful smell and forgot all about tacos. I order a bacon cheese burger with onion rings. It took awhile for my order to come up, there were several people ahead of me; all the meals are prepared after the orders are placed. I did not mind waiting at all. Rio Vista has a nice small town – mid-century vibe and it was fun to spend time at a 1950’s diner/drive-in.They have a few tables inside and several outside. The hamburger satisfied my hunger, but it wasn’t very tasty and it was overcooked. The saving grace was the bacon it was so tasty and perfectly cooked that I could have eaten a pound of it. The onion rings were pretty good. I like to wander around in the Delta and despite my disappointed with the burger I will stop again. I loved the bacon, I checked the menu and they do have BLTs a perfect type of sandwich to enjoy when passing through a small town like Rio Vista.

Best BLT I’ve had in years! Something for everyone… but I don’t recommend the pineapple shake.

Well, the burgers and fries are just what you would expect from a drive up type roadside burger joint along the highways of Anywhere USA, greasy and filling. Sometimes that’s what you are cravi g and this place delivers. Service is always quick and correct. My only complaint is the the soft serve ice cream and shakes are just OK. They should change out the dairy a little more often so it is fresh.

Really good patte melt on rye for lunch just now. Classic 50’s drive in with lots of hot rod memoribillia just the way I like it. Honna have to bring my ‘lil hot rod down here one Satuday night and rev the motor to wake the dead! Hard to believe there are so many really great resturants in such a cute town as in Rio Vista.

Good stuff, large portions, hot & fresh and friendly staff. Not the best I ever had, but a way better choice than the McDonalds down the street. I had the Rio Vista Chicken sandwich, which was a tad salty, and onion rings with house made ranch, they were great! My husband got the Burgerlicious, it was very tasty. The fries are the standard frozen type, but nice and hot. The chocolate shake was perfect in every way. We’d definitely come here again!

They make good shakes there. I am a vegetarian and they do offer a veggie burger, that is if you don’t care if it is cooked on the same grill as everything else. Same poppers, cheese sticks all that goodness is fried in the same basket. Great shakes though. There is a girl named Adaleid or Ada or something that needs to work on her customer service. Seriously

Full disclosure — I did not have a burger here. I stopped for a snack since I had skipped lunch and decided to have my favorite food — French fries! I was in a hurry to get home and needed to eat on the way. It was about 4 in the afternoon and I was the only customer. It took a long time to get my fries but when I did — they were hot and OK — not even close to being the best fries ever but not bad. I would stop again if I was passing through.
