Happy to find Lucy’s café. The waitress did a great job considering she was alone. Food was great and I recommend any Italian dish. The veal Parmesan was superb and the home made bread was nice.
My only problem was that the did not staff enough help and I waited 15 mins to depart just to settle my bill.

Excellent food depending on menu choice. Steak sandwich was tough and difficult to chew with a lot of gristle. Also was tasteless. Everything else we’ve had there has been great. Service is good. Prices reasonable. We do mostly takeout.

One of the specials of the day was a prime rib sandwich, and it was delicious! The prime rib was extremely tender and well seasoned. I also ordered the cannolis for dessert. I didn’t know it came with two, but it was delicious as well!

Great place to have drinks and manipulate the jukebox while the locals give you eyes. Will come back again. Five stars.

Stopped in today around 12:30 to pick up something for lunch. Meatball sandwich was good, with side of battered fries. Food worthy of 3.5 to 4 stars. As soon as I walked in, waitress looked at me without really acknowledging me. She walked to the table where she was already headed without a smile or without an «I’ll be with you in a second» or anything like that. Couldn’t have been due to being overwhelmed. There were only 2 tables with customers, one with 2 people and the other with 4. Rest of the restaurant was empty. I waited for my turn, no problem. She came right up and took my order and money. But sadly not a single smile. The whole time. Service: maybe worth 2 stars. Average 3 stars.
A smile doesn’t cost anything to give but is priceless when received

We stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. The chicken pesto sandwich was delicious. The Mexican Turkey Melt was yummy. Kids ordered spaghetti and meatballs (huge meatballs). Fries, salad, this was great. The waitress was very attentive and proactive. A nice find in our day. Stop in, give them your business.

WOW, what a surprise the town of Rio Vista has a winner Lucy’s Café is a unexpected find. We where in Rio Vista visiting and walk through town looking for a quite place to have diner what we found was LUCY’S Café, the service was awesome, the food was awesome our whole experience was just awesome!!!
We will be back, thank you Luck’s Café you are AWESOME!!!

Been here a couple times now. Food is good and service is fair. It’s pretty much what you would expect for a small town restaurant and an all American menu. Lunch and dinner are pretty much what one would expect. There is a full bar and its always full of the local town folk having a good time. The bar tenders are always friendly and will get your drink right every time.

Worth the 40 minute drive from Elk Grove. Food was excellent. Nice and clean restaurant on a street with other small business shops. Friendly staff and fast service.

This is the second time I’ve been here in 8 years only because it is a bit of a distance from my home. The first time we were here we truly enjoyed it.
Today we were immediately seates
Today we ordered veal parmigian and the salmon fillet.
We were immediately seated! Our server was very attentive.
In regards to my salmon fillet in capers sauce it was a bit over powering with the sour taste. My family member’s parmigian sauce was a bit bland. The veggies had a mixture of freshly cooked veggies mixed in with some which were previously cooked because those were soggy.
The place should really remove the old decorative vines because it makes the place smell a bit old n dingy.
They only accept cash, Visa, or Mastercard here.
So a bit disappointed in this visit… cannot say I’ll make a hike out here again for his place.
