Ripon Roadhouse

Went here for lunch to celebrate a coworker’s retirement. The place itself is really cool. Brick walls, high ceilings, cool detail work on the ceiling. A really great small town classic architecture vibe.
The food was pretty great. I tried the fried asparagus appetizer and wished that I had more. Had the Roadhouse Burger with garlic fries for my lunch. It was very flavorful and looked appealing, too. It wasn’t extremely busy for lunch, so our large group was easily accommodated and able to chat. Good times.

Very basic small town dining experience, a definite «5 star BAR»
Food satisfies, prices are comparable to a Chilis or Applebee’s. Very convenient for us locals here in Ripon when we decide to last minute go out.
What is nice is there is quite a variety to their menu for whatever food mood you’re in.
I can get my chips and salsa craving for an app and a sandwich with fries for my meal or even vamp it up with a more pricier, «luxury» meal and that’s always a plus in my opinion.
My boyfriend LOVES this place, hands down.
He loves the bar atmosphere and his messy food.
Not always favorable on my part though.
All in all, if you’re around and looking for somewhere to take a seat this definitely is the place in Ripon to head to. (Not that this small town has many other options… Lol)
