The food was beautifully balanced with intense flavors and great textures: The tomato bisque was rich and flavorful; the duck was perfect; the risotto was s delight of texture and freshness; the tuna was light and intense with kimchi; the sous-vide filet mignon was exquisite. Our wines were delicious and well-priced. The building is extraordinary, and has been adapted to a restaurant with wit and style. Add to that live piano music and attentive service, we couldn’t believe we’d found this place in rural Wisconsin. The Treasury would be great in Madison or Chicago; it is astonishing in Ripon. We will be back; This place is worth an hour or two of a detour when we are on our way back from Door County… It is even worth it for a trip from Madison. It’s that good!

Fascinating place in the little town of Ripon. It’s actually an old bank redone in the classic Art Deco style. Great private dining rooms including two vaults. It also has the original gun slots, a 50 foot bar, 50 foot ceilings and the original marble of the 1856 bank. Just beautiful! Then there’s the food. Oh my and since we are vegan and only cheat rarely by eating an occasional vegetarian dish, this was the best meal we have had in some time. The bravas tapas knocked our socks off, which was followed by a delicious bruschetta minus cheese, a great salad with top tier balsamic an incredible pesto pasta. Each item was 5 stars on its own. Amazingly this place was near empty when we walked in at 7:30 Friday night, yet I know if this place was transported to Minneapolis it would be impossible to get in until 9:30 or 10:00. No kidding! An amazing place you should not miss, and if you are from the bigger cities like Chicago, Milwaukee or Minneapolis St. Paul, you know that if you could transport this place, you would make a fortune.

Can not say enough wonderful things about this place. We just had our rehersal dinner here and the service was impeccable! The chefs are a skilled they were able to deliver about 30 plates of scallops perfectly prepared all at once. The chefs even gave a tour of the kitchen to an aspiring 10 yr. Old chef. Amazing food, perfect service, and gorgeous historical ambiance. Slam dunk.

Delightful from the moment you drive up. Beautiful building, tastefully decorated interior using many historical pieces. We had a drink in the bar downstairs first, then went up for dinner. We had fantastic service. It was«Tapas Tuesday» so we tried five small plates– the favorites were the Brussel sprouts and the fried green tomatoes– but they were all fantastic. Our dinners were also impressive, well presented and perfectly cooked. The chef delivered the main course himself. What a gem in Ripon, Wi!

Located in an old bank building, the outside of The Treasury is fairly nondescript. Old bank buildings don’t exactly scream«wow». Converting this old building and retaining some of the previous attributes add to the décor and was a great idea. I have been through Ripon on many occasions and have never really thought to make a stop«downtown». I was glad I did. I went in to this location not expecting to be wowed especially for a small town. I was sadly mistaken. The service was great and the fairly small menu has some creative elements. I opted for multiple small plate options to give me a sample of various dishes. The manner in which the chef was able to successfully bring certain opposing tastes together was impressive, such as a slightly sweet pork belly with kimchi or the chicken fried brussel sprouts. I can’t wait to try their main entrees. Located in an old bank building, the outside of The Treasury is fairly nondescript. Old bank buildings don’t exactly scream«wow». A true gem in downtown Ripon, The Treasury is a surprise from the moment you walk in the door. The elegant décor and friendly service creates a lovely ambiance. And then, there’s the food. The menu is filled with so many unique choices as well as The Treasury’s own spin on some classics. I’ve had the Heritage Empanadas, the Red Quinoa Soup and the English Tuna Sandwich, all of which were out of this world amazing. Whenever you find yourself in the Ripon area, be sure to make some time for a meal here. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is amazing. We stopped by at the recommendation of the manager at our hotel and were blown away. It was quiet, friendly, beautifully decorated and the food was spectacular. Four of the five tapas-style dishes we ate had cheese involved in some way, and every time it was used beautifully. The mac truffle and goat cheese egg rolls were particular standouts. Stop by if you can.

The food was great but the waiter had an attitude. When I told him how I would like my steak prepared, he turned up his nose and made an obnoxious face. I think I’m entitled to order my food the way I like it, not the way the waiter would.

My wife and I had dinner here on a whim and loved it! It starts with entrance through glass doors into a 1920’s style scene with bank vaults, beautiful hardwood floors, marble, and soft jazz in the background. The chicken fried brussel sprouts with mint, honey, and sesame were delicious and the filet was perfectly prepared. Patrick, the exec chef visited our table. Well worth the short drive from Oshkosh.

This really is as good as it gets. We have been there every year since it opened. When we come to Wisconsin for our annual reunion, we save The Treasury for our special night out. We select from the Tapas menu. So many of the tastes are unique — subtle yet discernible. The bartender was skillful and attentive — she saw me order my drink from my server and had it ready before he even got to the bar. Philip — our server– was the perfect mix of friendly but he did not insert himself into our family get together. I do so wish I could clone this restaurant and reproduce it in the many small towns around the nation with glorious old buildings that need a new purpose. This is a work of genius in the heartland of America.

My husband and I went here for Valentine’s day. Since we don’t get much time to ourselves we wanted a restuarant that was quiet and this place was perfect! The food was fantastic and the service was good. Definitely not a place for children which was fine for us considering we have 3 children at home and wanted a quiet evening out. They had a nice wine selection. Since it was Valentine’s day they were pretty busy so it took awhile for our food to come out but that was fine gave us more time talk. We will be back.

This is a fantastic restaurant erg great service. My partner and I have been here each year for Valentine’s Day since they opened and we are consistently impressed. The food is delicious as well and we like to try something new each time we visit. I enjoy the filet mignon and the shrimp and bacon as an appetizer. The chocolate cake is fantastic too. Definitely recommend this place.

Wow, you would never guess you would run across this great restaurant and bar in the small town of ripon Wisconsin. Great live, gigantic screen of green lake live(yes, you can be 2 places at on time). We loved the hamburger sliders, lamb lollipops, empanadas and ahi tuna. Great deco décor in an old bank building and a great bar. Can’t wait to come back. Be sure to check out the old bank vault… perfect for private parties.
