Jon is the absolute master! I get compliments on my color every time he touches my head! The salon is amazing! Best cuts. Best blowouts. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I won’t go anywhere else. This salon is New York City perfection right in Bergen County. You cannot go wrong! (Unless you try to get an appointment I want!)

Completely disgusted with the treatment we received from this salon. I’ve been going to Ang for about a year getting highlights and I’ve been pretty satisfied, so I recommended my sister to go to her to get a balayage done. Well needless to say her hair was horrific. It looked like a bad ombré and was orange. She had wanted her hair to be very ashy and it was the complete opposite. So we called the salon and went to talk to Jon. He was so unaccommodating, told her her hair looked good, and would not give her money back. He got rude and nasty in front of the entire salon. We showed him pictures of what her hair looked like when she got home and dried it and he told us her hair didn’t look like that, basically inferring that the photos were edited. It was ridiculous and I was baffled. How an owner of a salon talks to customers in front of a full salon like that is mind blowing. We will never be going back to this salon.

I normally get Keratin treatment on my hair about every 6 months to maintain frizzy/​wavy hair, which I started over 2 years ago with my first child (so about 4 treatments). I’m lucky that with my hair, I can usually go every 6 months instead of 3 – 4 months helped with use of sulfate-​free shampoo. Obviously no treatments during my pregnancy, but 3 weeks after my 2^nd son was born in January 2016, I went in for a keratin treatment so that I wouldn’t feel like a complete schleppy mom when running out of the house with 2 kids.
As recommended by the stylist, I washed my hair 2 days later (instead of 1) and the treatment washed out of my hair, leaving my wet hair NOT feeling silky smooth nor straight like it did with my previous Keratin treatments. I had to completely blowdry and flat iron my hair as I did before the treatment to get it to be not so frizzy. I never had to do this with any of my other treatments — defeating the purpose of getting the treatment in the first place (eliminating the straightening step!). With other treatments, I can walk out of the shower, air dry my hair and have frizz free hair for about a month, after which I need to start using a light iron. Not with this treatment.
I NEVER complain about my hair because its only hair and hair grows back. But this time, I called the salon a few weeks later when I had a break from the baby to let them know but we kept missing each other. Just got off the phone with the manager (Jon) and he offered 20% off my next keratin treatment with them, which normally runs $ 174. I’m not sure what would have made me happy here. I guess not having the added frustration of paying for a treatment that clearly did not have its intended effect, which would have been to make life easier while juggling everything else that is going on.
Wish I had the time to call him back sooner so that he could have done something else, but when dealing with a newborn who nurses every hour or two round the clock (I think most moms remember these exhausting yet rewarding days and nights), while juggling the needs of a family with a 2 year old leaves a person exhausted with very little time to think of much else.
Its sad because they are close and convenient. I’m not sure if I will take Jon up on his offer. But he was kind and patient when I expressed my frustration, which is why the salon got 2 stars instead of 1 star — as Unilocal describes, «I’ve experienced better.»

Ange has been my hairdresser for 6+ years and I have to say I have NEVER been disappointed. Always got the most up-​to-​date fashion sense and advice in regard to haircutting and color. In my opinion she is one of the best colorists I have ever been to and know. A true perfectionist indeed, as you can see from the results I receive every time when she highlights and tones my hair. She always knows exactly what I am looking for and does it exactly the way I envision it. Truly talented, you will not be disappointed… I highly recommend Ange for your haircut and color needs… if you want it done right and done good go see Ange. She ROCKS when it comes to Amber and highlights/​lowlights basically any of your color needs

I am always completely satisfied and always getting compliments on my color. The entire staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcomed. Highly recommend this salon!

One of the best salons I’ve been to and now the only one I will go to. They are experts at what they do from a simple trim to expert highlights, extensions, up-do’s, blowouts, keratin hair treatment, and much more. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and takes there time with answering all your questions to getting exactly what you are looking for from your visit.
Angela is my go to hairstylist and she is truly amazing at what she does. Perfect highlights, great up-do’s, expert haircuts, curls my hair just how I like it, and always fills me in on what’s new and trendy. Jon is an amazing colorist and is a true genius when it comes to hair. He is a true perfectionist and it shows in his work. Hanie is one of the most talented barbers I’ve seen providing pretty much all of Bergen County’s men with the freshest haircuts money can buy. Gina is a great hair stylist doing everything from color to cuts and highlights. Melissa is amazing at everything she does from highlights to a new trendy hair cut. The salon offers colored extensions which are really cool along with beautiful human hair extensions as well. Jonlissa also does hair and makeup from weddings to proms and everything in between. They have a large selection of products to purchase and the staff will recommend what they feel you can use.
I love leaving the salon and feeling like a million bucks. If you live in the Bergen County area you should come check them out, you will not be disappointed.
