Cash only! But owner was SONICE, gave our order of Eggplant Pizza(delicious-well crusted, moist, tangy) and Fettucine with White Clam Sauce(al dente, saucy, lots of clam) — I.O.U cos we didn’t have cash on us. He said, «go home and eat while it’s still hot and pay next time» Wow! Nobody does that.

I stopped by here to get a quick lunch. Ordered a couple of slices with 2 toppings each. This has got to be among the worst place to eat pizza. The slices were already done and the toppings were simply placed on the slices. There were literally 3 – 4 pieces of meatball on each slice. No cheese was used to bind the toppings. Pathetic. Not sure how this place has survived since 1972.

Saw reviews about being the best in the area — you should expand your search a little. Pizza is not the greatest — not sure there is such a thing as bad pizza. Staff working were very friendly. Parking is tough. Value is good(2 slices and a soda — $ 5). Good value –but the actual food isn’t the greatest.

The best pizza in the area, hands down. I’ll get myself food from Mazzone’s a couple times a week. The pizza is fantastic and I don’t really like meatball parm heroes, but I’ll get it on occasion because it’s so good. Just so you know, it’s cash only, so make sure to hit up an atm before you get food there.

Just moved to River Edge, NJ from LA and tried to order for carry-out about 15 min. ago. I’ve never written any reviews but my terrible experience should be made known. Guy who answered the phone was very rude when asked what’s on the«Special Pizza.» He sighed and said that he’s busy and does not have time for that. He did not have to be Einstein to infer that it was my first time to order when I asked for their special pizza to be in thin crust, which he remarked with, «That’s impossible!» Very, very, very rude. If it’s your first time ordering, don’t expect any type of service! I told him«Never mind,» and hanged-up.
