We reserved a room weeks ahead, and thanks to a reservation error we got the only fully handicap accessible room, no bathtub, sink, etc.(You’d think they’d want to save it for an actual handicap guest.) The hotel had no manager on site to resolve the issue. The unwanted accessible features aside the room had burnt out bulbs, drool streaks on the pillows, used complimentary bath supplies, and a spill of some sort on the nightstand. When we finally got offered a new room it was above the in house bar on a all you can eat fish and live music Friday night. Too loud for our baby. After hours of being jerked around we received an acceptable, normal, room. Unfortunately that left us exhausted after driving all day and without time to order food. Safe to say we’re hungry, and very much worn thin by the whole ordeal.

After a long night of driving hoping to get some rest, I went to check in here and they had given our room away with no availability to accommodate us. I specifically called the day before to prepay for our room for the two nights we would be staying here because I didn’t know what time I was actually going to arrive due to my work schedule. The attendant Dan that greeted us was very rude and was actually laughing as he stated he was the one that gave our room away. Our only resolution that was offered was for us to stand around and wait for the manager to arrive. We opted to leave for the time being and as we were leaving the attendant Dan sarcastically told us to have a nice day while he laughed at us. In fairness to Best Western, I’m sure the hotel normally has good kind service with the exception of Dan. We feel that we were completely disrespected and are going to file a grievance with Corporate Best Western regarding Dans behavior. Dan is fortunate that we are level headed consumers, I could see him crossing the path of someone who might physically harm him in the future if he ever behaves like he did towards us.

Hell yeah, this is one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever had in the $ 100 price range. I got a corner King suite and I really loved it. The room was huge, nicely decorated, had nice lighting, and had a warm and comfortable atmosphere suitable for a traveling professional such as myself. There was a nice sitting area, a big counter, and big windows that look down into the street. It was impeccably clean and counter service was just fine. I wish I would have just stayed here for the rest of my travels, instead of a bunch of dumpy-ass AmericInns. The rest of my workweek I was like«shit dude, I should have just done the extra driving every day and stayed at Riverview… but here I sit in this dingy AmericInn at the same price. This hotel room was killer bang for the buck, bed was super cozy, it was quiet… perfect experience.
