I had the thin crust pizza delivered. Locally, it seems to be one of the best pizza places. Prices are reasonable and they generally deliver on time.

Neighborhood favorite of mine growing up in North Maywood. Everyone ordered thin pizzas from here. I’ve been coming here since the 90s. I always get a sausage pizza extra sauce well done. The customer service isn’t the best they can be curt assholes, but it’s never been disrespectful so we all put up w/their shit. In the 2000s they added Frank’s Deli to their lineup so it seems Frank left the pizza joint to the sons or young females who run it. I’ve never dined it. Always pickup or delivery. The pizza really isn’t expensive compared to other pizza joints. I’ve slacked on coming in here thru the years because they’re still cash only and I don’t carry cash much and I’m not going out of my way to get cash to patronage them. Soooooooo I get them when I can.

definitely had a different experience than most apparently. ordered a thin crust, and tried ordering stuffed artichokes that are advertised on the menu and they were out of them at 6pm. was weary when i picked up and there was no box, had to put in my trunk in a grocery bag to avoid pizza grease getting all over as it was seeping through the paper. this was a bad sign, but i kept an open mind. which closed when i ate the pizza. i found it very bland, certainly nothing to write home about. barely tasted my pineapple and onion. ate about half a 12″, not excessively, and it’s left my stomach pretty queasy. getting a couple stars for friendly staff. will not order again. update: i called with my complaint about the pizza making me sick, and the manager was rather rude to me.

Just moved into the area from the city and we are a bit food snobs but Bertolli’s is excellent! I would even go as far saying my favorite pizza. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect! The sauce also is flavored so well. So glad we found a winner!!!

Best thin crust pizza in the area, hands down! I’ve only ordered their pizzas and calzones(which are both excellent) so I can’t speak for their other menu items. The topping ingredients are fresh and every pizza I’ve had from them was delicious. Family-owned and operated place and the service has always been friendly. They seem to be always busy, but if you pick up your pizza, it’s usually ready in ½ hour or less. And they take credit cards now! Highly recommended!

I eat a lot of pizza and this is the best around. Simple thin crust sausage pizza has never left me disappointed. Highly recommended!

It can be a bit of a challenge to find really good pizza around here. I tried Jimmy’s(pretty bad, crazy salty and invisible sauce) Salernos(good but again too salty) or Villa Nova(excellent but they don’t deliver to Forest Park and it’s a bit of a drive). Then someone recommended Bertolli’s. Great pizza and friendly quick service. Their other Italian dishes are really well done too. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that I have had their eggplant parm many times and one time the sauce was really bland. Hey, no one is perfect but whoever made the sauce that night was not paying enough attention. We order from them about once a week and the pizza has never disappointed! I recommend these hardworking friendly people to many and I’ve been thanked often for that! Great place!

Hate to do this. Order was taken very friendly on the phone. I would reckon the place a bit overpriced, but worth a good pizza. What we got was tasting like an old frozen pizza with some extra added to it. Pepperoni tasted old, vegetables were so so. Crust tasted old. Such a pity. Hope others will keep enjoying the taste at Bertollis. Just not my cup of tea I guess.

The pizza and baked clams are very good but the customer service is not. Long story short the last time I was there they messed up my order and over charged me, the manager recognized the mistake and said he’d credit me next time I came in. Well next time I came in I was explaining to the girl at the front that I needed to speak to the manager as she didn’t know anything about the situation. She got him and he looked at me, like he didn’t recognize me, so I explained what happened and he cut me off with a curt«yeah I know I’m doing it.» I would expect anyone who enters that establishment to be treated with respect and courteousness, not be greeted with rudeness when I was trying to rectify a mistake THEY made. In short, good food, poor customer service this time it seems. Pretty disappointed to be honest.

This is some of the best pizza around! I’ve been a fan of Bertolli’s(and Frank’s next door) for about 3 years now. About time to say something nice about them. The pizza is outstanding. I love that I can load their pizza up with crushed garlic AND garlic oil. Perfection overload. Always a great pizza at a fair price. And I love that Frank’s next door sells their fresh pizza by the slice; for when I come in hungry buying a lotto ticket. Thanks guys & galls! Keep it up!

Been ordering take out here since I moved 5 years ago. Never dined in, had delivery maybe twice(I live really close). I’m OK with the cash only. They want to avoid the CC surcharge, I don’t blame them. Small businesses are like that. The pizza comes wrapped in paper. No soggy cardboard. It does make it a little harder to drive home. I’ve had the baked mostaccioli, fried mushrooms and dinner salad as well. All good stuff. The eggplant parmesan sandwich was great too. You’re not going to get low-cal or weight-watching food here but. it’s pizza. Recently I tried a certain pizza not on the menu when I saw them pulling a huge beef brisket out of the oven and asked what that was about. FANTASTIC. I don’t know how anyone can disparage the taste. I’ve live in Chicago all my life and my kids will grow up with Bertolli’s as comfort food.

Great pizza me and the kids love it. They have great beefs as well. I recommend people in every town to flood this place and get the best pizza you deserve. I just wish they delivered to Maywood at lease me I been a customer for years. But hey I gave to do what I have to do.

Love the thin crust pizza!! I have not eaten anything else from here so I can’t say whether it’s good or bad. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good thin crust pizza. Only downside delivery can be slow, so I pick up at times

Absolutely fabulous thin-crust pizza. There is none better in the area. My only quibble is that the delivery can be a bit on the slow side, but we usually pick up to avoid the problem, and our pizza is always ready within about 20 minutes of when we call it in. They don’t take credit cards and you can’t order only, but that’s okay. It’s still better than any of the doughy chain pizza that’s otherwise available. Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m going to order a mushroom pizza right now!

Last night tried the Meat Lover’s pan pizza and it did not disappoint! Usually pepperoni gives me heartburn, but they either don’t use very much, or it’s balanced with something else to where it’s good. And the crust– seems to retain its freshness as good as the thin crust the next day. As I continue to eat my way through the menu, I can’t say as I’ve been disappointed with anything so far.

So a word to the wise, their sizes are the old school sizes from your youth. A medium Bertolli’s is not that big, but damn if its not delicious. This is easily the best thin crust pizza in the OPRFFP area. I really enjoyed it and I am only saddened I haven’t tried it soon. It is getting 4 stars today because I have not had the full experience. I will update my review when I have a large pizza and try the sides, but for now this is based off of one, semi-pricey, but very worth it pizza.

When the family says«Let’s get a pizza tonight,» this is where we go. I order a jumbo sausage and pepperoni(they have 5 sizes) for myself, eat about a third of it, and stash the rest in the refrigerator for lunch the next couple of days. To me it’s just as good cold as it is burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth hot. My family orders what they feel like, usually a spinach and garlic. To each his/her own. We’ve never eaten in their restaurant, we always order for pick-up with the occasional delivery if we don’t feel like driving. When we pick-up the restaurant is always empty. I find that interesting but not my concern. The ambiance is 80’s black/red/white tile. I have no idea what their restaurant service is like. The familia can be a bit brusque, but it’s a Italian-American family run pizzaria, what do you expect? They are nice enough to me, but they know me from repeat business. Cash only. If you’re in a pinch for cash, they own the convenience store/deli next to the pizzaria, and it has an ATM. Price per person is very reasonable, unless you are like me and order for three days! They have this thing that if you save and turn in menus you can get a free pizza. We order often enough here that we’ve taken advantage of this several times.
