If I would give this gym 0 stars I would. Maria is the RUDEST & WORST employee I’ve EVER encountered. After enrolling, I was charged $ 50 for registration, then after a few weeks, was no longer being billed & was no longer able to work out at this gym (but was allowed to work out at Mchenry). Tried to re enroll in Oakdale but was told I had a $ 190 debt from my current membership (which I was told was inactive). She completely entered in all of my info wrong & denied me access at her gym. & am now stuck with a $ 200 debt!!! Which I was never informed of!!! If you’re going to Be an idiot, don’t be a rude idiot!!!
Also: every single person I know who’s gotten memberships through her, has had a similar issue, being cussed out over the phone, wrongly charged, completely messjng up their membership.
WORSE PLACE IVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!

I was a member for a year… The gym is well equipped and seems clean in the shower area. THERE IS NO WIFI at this gym though, (and after several requests to make it available no progress was made on this point) which is why I quit Fitness Evolution and went somewhere else.
The only other problem I had was asking for a towel to wipe down the hydro massage table. It gets warm and the previous user sweat all over the damn thing. I was told no… it had microbial built in. I never went back after that.
The trainers that gave me an intro were knowledgeable and helpful.

Let me just say what makes this place great are the classes. This is a smaller gym but there is plenty of equipment to get an awesome work out. The classes are awesome. You will come out sweating. U Jam is a complete body work out. Sweating for days. MUVZ is usually offered at other locations, but I took it today and it was great. The price of membership is so cheap! Seriously, take some classes. Best deal around!

Worst place ever! To cancel your membership seriously you have to have an appointment. Oh yes she was going to help me anyway but not after telling me all my faults. Ended up walking out before I really got upset.

I’ve had a gym membership with fitness evolution for years since it used to he called gold’s gym. I like how affordable it is and I especially like that you can bring a friend with you at no extra cost! The riverbank location is smaller than the dale location but I highly recommend both locations if you are looking for an affordable gym membership!

This place is a scam! The $ 9.99 per month scheme is exactly that, trust me you pay far more than that. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT! They utilize deceitful business practices, and once you give them bank privileges they take whatever amount they choose. If you want out of the so called «no contract» — you will be fined an additional amount and it won’t be $ 9.99. If I could have assigned them of a rating less than one star, I would have. The gym is dirty and poorly run. The pictures below certainly do not represent this gym!

I give this gym 4 stars. For $ 10 a month, you can’t really complain. Basically it’s the price of 2 venti coffee drinks at Starbucks. Staff is very friendly, equipment is solid and bathrooms are clean. Very satisfied.

This place was originally a golds mini gym. The owner sold out… in more ways than one… to a corporate gym. And now its a shell of its former self. Do your research, there are easily a dozen better places to go.
