Dollar Tree

Hateeeee to do this but Dollar Tree, you slay me!
Things have gone reallyyyyyyyy downhill at the Kenilworth Dollar Tree. So much so that I felt compelled to update my previous 4-​star review to a 2-​star!
The once spotless store is now a disheveled mess :-/​
Boxes of items to be restocked on the shelves litter the floors, which I guess is to blame for the nearly empty displays in many aisles.
And it’s not because the place is understaffed — it’s because I don’t think the employees here give a darn!
What also makes no sense to me (though I’ve noticed this at other DTs in the area) is that on a busy day, they’ll only have 1 – 2 cashiers working. I’ve never seen THREE open registers here. Ever.
I hope they get their act together.

I have to think these people are being paid to write good reviews. Horrible horrible horrible customer service!!! I believe a business needs to not treat their customers like idiots to get their money. This business doesn’t take that approach and has six employees working the store but only one cashier with a line of 15 people. Do yourself a favor and skip going here because they’ll just treat you like you’re garbage.

I just discovered this location last week and am sad I’ve been missing out. It’s a hop, skip and jump from home and work, but here I’ve been trekking up to Greenbelt and even Laurel to get my Dollar Tree fix. Never again!
This location has great parking and is conveniently located a few doors down from a post office. There’s also an Advance Auto parts and a restaurant in the same plaza. The location is right of 201/​Kenilworth so it’s fairly accessible.
Inside, it’s well-​stocked and organized. They could do a bit more to keep the aisles cleared while restocking, but it wasn’t horrible. The aisles were about as wide as I’ve seen at any other Dollar Tree so it wasn’t bothersome.
The staff were friendly, but it didn’t seem like there were a ton there when I went during my lunch hour. In either case, it wasn’t very busy either.
This will definitely be my go-​to location from now on.

Great customer service and it was fully stocked during my visit. The store was very clean which definitely made my trip shorter. The also offer a wide variety of frozen foods.

A Dollar Tree that’s a mile from my school?! This could be bad news for my pocketbook. Everyone knows how teachers are constantly spending their own money on classroom materials. At least now I can get more bang for the buck. One dollar to be exact, because everything’s a dollar at Dollar Tree!
