Harry and David

I’ve been shopping at Harry and David for years. They have amazing foods whether it’s the holidays, you’re having a dinner party, or snacks for yourself. The staff is always friendly, helpful and make me feel welcomed. A lot of the times the store has samples of the food which is nice that way if you like what you have a taste of, you buy it. Their candies, specialty moose munch and truffles are delicious. Their relishes, salsas and dips are SOOO good and they have the best tortilla chips. They have great soup kits, I would recommend the chicken tortilla soup kit. You can sign up to be a part of their mailing list where they send you coupons and promotions. I tell so many people to shop at Harry and David because they will not be sorry.

I was very impressed with this store. First the customer device is outstanding, everyone that works there is very friendly and they love telling you about their products. The samples are a nice touch also. I was also surprised at how affordable it was if you use a coupon which are easy to find online or you can sign up for their rewards card and get them that way. I got a couple boxes of pears, they are outstanding! Make sure you try the chocolate covered blueberries also.

How do you hate on moose munch?
The sales people her are so bubbly. «I’m bubbly» put it all together what do you get? I dunno but they give me a BUNCHA moose munch when I come to town.
They sell so many yummy items here, like for instance the Harry and David pear.
What’s the big deal, a friggin’ pear that I can buy at Stop and Shop.

Try a slice of Harry and David pears when you come here. Its like they pump up their pears with fun and sweetness. They are soooo good!
They sell at this location, salsas, party drink mixes, glasses and dishes for a party and of course, moose munch.
When you check in here using your Unilocal app? You get a *free* chocolate truffle.

I went to this store today and the lady at the front door was extremely nice and helpful.
I wanted to buy a box of truffles and suddenly and young 20-​ish year old male was standing next to me calling me «Love»…“Here ya go Love” as he handed me a basket.
Rule number one in retail unless you are a 70 year old waitress it is NEVER okay to call a patron in your store by a pet name.
Do not call me «Love» I was so grossed out by this.
Also the lady (Karen) at the counter appeared annoyed when I declined signing up for the store rewards card and that I did not want to buy two boxes of candy. Her expression changed when I said no thank you and when she went to give me my change of $ 6.00 she just dropped it on the counter. excuse me ma’am I handed you money I expect the same in return.

If you are the manager please inform the young man that was working today that its disrespectful and weird to be calling customers «love».actually its creepy.

I go to Tanger outlet once a year to go shopping with my family. While I am here, I would go to Harry and David. The first time I came here I brought the triple fruit gift box. It came with a few pears, orange and apples. The orange and apples weren’t anything special, it taste like something you can buy at the supermarket. The pears were really good. The SA at Harry and David told me that I needed to wait three days before they were ripe to eat them. Three days later I had the pears, and they were so juicy. As I was bitting into it, the juice from the pears were leaking down my face. It was so juicy and sweet. The second time I came here, I only brought the pears. It was $ 20 for 6 pears.
They also have a variety of other items like different type of popcorn, chocolate bars, chocolate pretzels, and fruit. At this location, they offer free coffee, and various samples of their products. Their SA are all really nice and really helpful, if you have any questions, you can ask them and they are happy to help you.

I feel compelled to stop in every time I’m at the outlets, whether I actually need something here or not. Their fresh pears (which they often give samples of) are incredible. Seriously… they take pears to the next level. From fruit, to relish, to chocolate, this place does everything right. I’ve never tasted anything bad from here. Thank GOD this place is far from home, or else I’d probably stock up on goodies (and free samples) weekly.
Also, the customer service here is great. I’ve made a multitude of custom gift baskets here for special occasions, and they are always a huge hit. Not to mention, the presentation is always fantastic.
This will always be one of my favorite stores.

I love me the H&D.
I am kind of glad it is way out in Riverhead, because I would be much heavier if it were closer. Stocking nuts, popcorns, candies, teas, preserves and other great specialty food items, Harry and David is a wonderful gift idea. Or a good shopping snack.
The Moose Mix popcorns are a must!

Years ago, whenever I’d find myself stranded as the sole male duped into a Tanger excursion after being bribed with «food» in Riverhead, I sought refuge here… Moose Munch consoled me, proprietary H&D preserves on slivers of bread occupied me, and the abundance of pears perplexed me.
All in all, Goliath’s modern-​day successor and his reincarnated victor join up to push out solid product. at least as far as these things go, albeit at some borderline price points.
2.11 update: Samples galore pre-​rush from friendly, bored staff. Make sure you note the ingredients before purchasing anything (if you can stomach the price in the first place).
