It’s a really small space for drinking but their beer’s decent. Preference goes to their NoFoRoCo as it’s got a good coffee flavor and alright body. Every other beer is at least average, but the real draw is how cheap it is. Pretty great deals for growlers. They’re really nice, too.(I don’t know, it’s a brewery. Go get classily turnt.)

Nice little spot. I predict big things for these guys. Beer was the best out of the three I tried in Riverhead.

Found a Groupon for this brewery and couldn’t believe they’ve been around for two years. Had some wonderful conversation with other patrons and am looking forward to visiting again. Oh by the way… The beer is excellent with a great selection. My favorite was the Porter, especially on a cold night. Thank you Heather for a the Double IPA suggestion… You were right, it’s not the same as a regular IPA and I really enjoyed it.

Nice place to hang out with friends and sample great craft beers. The bartenders were informative and friendly. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in town.

–1 star if you’re just looking for a tasting room +2 more stars if you love good beer The tasting room here is TINY compared with others, but they do so many events during the warmer months(and have an area outside to hang out) that I can’t bear to give them less than 5 stars. Follow their Facebook to keep up to date on what’s brewing and on offer as well as some pretty random and fun events. It’s a small scene here on Long Island, but a vibrant one and you can really get to meet your beermakers by hanging out. I tend not to get flights here simply because it’s hard to put them down — but find a horizontal surface somewhere and get tasting if you haven’t had their product before! Growlers to go; bomber bottles for aging(they make some INSANE special brews that you should age like wine and pop for a special occasion); and really whimsical glasses for purchase. A brewery tour cycle leaves from here sometimes, so it’s fun to watch people’s reaction to the contraption.

There are lots of friending brewery tap rooms in Riverhead this summer and this is one of the best. The bar itself is a little tight but the room opens up to a patio with several large tables. Get the Flight of try or share several four small tastes of their beers.(One negative is that they use plastic cups. To me, beer tastes better in glass!)

We stopped here as the last stop of our brew tour. The staff was very friendly, and it was pretty empty for a late Friday afternoon. There were a few picnic table out front and even though there were ropes enclosing the outdoor space, I am assuming if it gets really busy you can stand right outside of or around it. It’s a small tasting room and it’s pretty secluded. We enjoyed the beers we tasted and would probably visit again, but most likely as a stop. We would visit a larger brewery to bring a bigger group of friends or stay for longer. We enjoyed the overall experience was a good one. We were told that they bring in live music and crowds get large on weekends.

Nothin’ wrong with a nice lil’ tasting room and some VERY good brews! In the summertime, there’s enough room here to chill inside or hit the picnic tables on the patio. You might want to grab that growler to-go in the winter. Regardless of space, the beers here are awesome and the merch is fun too. Def make it a stop on your next beer tour or for a quick pint of fresh suds. Do it.

Beer doesn’t get much better than this. Always full of flavor, surprising yet familiar varieties! Do yourself a favor and drink local. You won’t be sorry.

Great beer starts with great people. Love the team here and love the amount of work they put into their product. It is a true labor of love and love is what I feel for their super craft beers! 5 stars. Easy.

Fantastic brewery! I’ve been to both the brewery itself, as well as to one of their events(their first birthday!). All of their beers are delicious, and all of the folks who work there are some of the nicest people around. Absolutely worth a visit whenever you happen to be in Riverhead. Don’t forget to bring a growler to fill, too!

I don’t know, I came in over the summer a few times and found the beer to be inconsistent in flavor and I didn’t really feel like it was a well balanced beer. I root for small business like this, so I’m sure as they continue to grow they will get better. I’m guessing the bigger the system the more consistent a beer, I’ll definitely give you guys another try when I’m out this summer!

I really enjoyed this place. one of those places I thought to myself im definitely going to have to come back here in the summer. the place gives off a great little atmosphere. The owners which were literary pouring our beers were friendly and you could tell were passionate about craft beer. the beer was really good to. The sampler was perfect to get a little taste of what they had to offer. After reading some other reviews im really excited to come back and try some new different beers through the season.

Located 2 mins away from Main Street in Riverhead, this place is tucked away but it’s great. It does share a building with an auto parts store. so just watch where you’re walking into! They had 4 beers on tap, and for $ 8 you got a flight of all four. This time I sampled their Milk + Honey Brown Ale, which I really enjoyed. It was super smooth. They also had a guinea pig red ale, every mans porter, and the March IPA which was right up my ally. They offered pretzels on the table to snack on which is clutch, and the owners were extremely nice and cool, and pouring the beers themselves! Can’t wait to visit again and see what’s new on tap!

Place is legit. Difficult to find but worth the effort! Only 4 beers but quality over quantity is certainly the feeling. Try it out!

This is another great brewery located in Riverhead. This is probably the smallest brewery and they are putting out some great beer! I really enjoyed their Rye Scotch Ale! I have had many scotch ales and enjoyed most of them, but they are sometimes a bit too sweet. I think that the rye really help cut down some of the sweetness and helped make a great beer! I forgot the name of the IPA that I had, but it was very good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Had a great experience here ! We each got a tasting of their 4 beers all of which were excellent. Tasting room is small but very nice. As my husband and I were starting our tastings the owner Matt brought over a bowl of pretzels and gave us a brief description of the beers we were sampling which we loved & it made our first experience at Moustache a great one. Lots of cool merchandise for sale in the tasting room. Looking forward to coming back here again in the near future.

Another great Long Island brewery and welcome addition to the island! Great little brewery with several beers to offer — they had five the day my friends and I were there. The Mojito Pale Ale was a standout. The staff is knowledgeable if you want to get schooled on their offerings. Laid back atmosphere, dog friendly, good prices and good beer — what more can one ask for?

Finally. An EXCELLENT Long Island brewery(most I’d consider Okay to Good). Unfortunately, there were only two varieties when I was there — the Everyman’s Porter and Mojito Pale Ale, but they are the #2 and #3 L.I. beers, respectively(Barrier’s Daddy Warbucks is #1, in case you’re wondering). I wish this place wasn’t so far away or that they had wider distribution, but I understand. The facility is very, very small. I don’t know why I didn’t rave to them in person about how impressed I was and how they blow their nearby competition out of the water, but it probably had to do with the fact this was my first stop so I hadn’t fully checked out the competition yet AND I was sober at this point, so.

Moustache is the great little brewery that could. Thoroughly enjoyed their Everyman’s Porter(one of their flagship beers), the Mojito Pale ale(a citrusy seasonal) and their Milk & Honey brown ale. Love the fact they are brewing some dark beers in the summer when everybody else is offering their lightest beers. They generally have 3 or 4 beers available as they are a humble operation. But each is excellently crafted and available for growler fills. The little tasting room is adorably decorated and they have awesome branded merch available– hats and tshirts, patches and pint glasses etc. Stop in and meet the brewers Matt and Lauri.
