Best customer service ever. I ordered sod over the phone from AG Sod after reading its 3 reviews. The order taker was patient with a novice sod orderer and very helpful. The delivery guy was within his window and called 20 minutes before arriving so I could be awake. Everyone was so nice. So a couple hours later I’ve got all these guys helping lay the sod and I realize I under ordered (my fault). I called AG Sod and the woman spent time researching every store near my home that received a delivery of Elite Plus that morning! She found a HD 3 miles away and gave me their phone number. Got the needed rolls for a MUCH higher price but was able to get it installed with the crew still there. I really appreciated each of the people I had contact with being so nice to work with and so professional. I got instructions from the phone person and the delivery guy that was consistent with my installer friend: you must water it every single day for 14 days all the way through to the new root zone or else it will die. Great experience.

I’m not familiar with sods or types of grass for that matter. So, I researched and asked around, only to find myself even more confuse. I called AG Sod Farm (found them online). I spoke to Stefanie and she is not only knowledgeable but patient. She offered a lot of helpful advises. She suggested variety of sods base on my preference. I decided to get their own Elite plus sod, which is a blend of fescue and bluegrass because I wanted my grass to stay dark green all throughout the year. No other nurseries I called including Home Depot and Lowes sells Elite Plus, they have either Fescue or bluegrass but not combined, and yet their prices were so much higher than AG Sod Farm. Delivery was free (if you order more than 1000sq ft), flexible and on time as well.
I’m very pleased with my transaction with AG Sod Farms. As you can see on the pics I posted, my yard looks great! Elite plus is thick, lush, dark green and can withstand moderate to heavy traffic.
I have already recommended AG Sods to a lot of my friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The HD pissed me off, and I needed sod. I called these guys up, and they said while they normally have next-​day delivery, it’s their busy season and they could get me sod Saturday (this was Tuesday). My wife was busting my onions about trying to get our sod laid ASAP, so I asked whether they had anything sooner. They said cancellations are frequent, but not guaranteed. I didn’t make a purchase at that time and continued shopping around. I called back, same deal. I never left my name or number. About two hours later, they had a cancellation, went through the effort of finding me on their caller ID and called me back to offer a Thursday delivery. The delivery was free (orders exceeding 1,000 square feet of sod) and the price was by far the best in town — WAY cheaper than the HD. And … the driver showed up dead center of the delivery window promised.
I highly recommend A-​G for their great customer service and reliability.
