Called 10 plumbers and this was the best choice made. Alex came during the scheduled time frame and was done in less than 30 min. He declogged 2 of my drains and installed my new shower head. What separated him from the rest was that he was able to provide quotes over the phone without the unnecessary BS. His prices were far less than the others and he didn’t try to bait and switch with pricing like most did. Very professional and a really nice person, he even cleaned up after the work was completed. I would definitely use his services again, thank you!

Technician fixed our faucet issue we had the night before when my father in law couldn’t fix it. I was so happy he was able to come right the next morning to fix the problem since we couldn’t use the water. He also fixed our main water shut off hose bibb. He did it all in an hour and all at a reasonably good price. I’m so pleased with this company and plan to use them again next week to replace our toilets.

I had alex come out and open my kitchen drain. He came out on time and cleaned up his mess. Also the cost was really low. Thanks a.m. plumbing for all your help

After discovering that my drywall was wet and knowing that I had to do something about it before the damage got worse, I frantically called plumbers on a Saturday morning. I left messages for two of them and never heard from anyone. Another was completely booked. Finally found Alex, who answered my call right away and delayed going to the gym that day to come over. He diagnosed the leak, called up a restoration company to take off the cabinets and cut the drywall and came over the next day to fix the pipe. He was supposed to hang out with his kids but delayed that a little bit to come fix my pipe. Honest, polite, and even offers a 1 year guarantee on his work. Thanks!

I had neglected my plumbing for a long time…(shame on me) So i called around and came across A.M. Plumbing and got really prompt service. Alex leveled with me and told me my options, and he sincerely cared about my situation. I am not easily convinced in to spending money. But i was confortable with Alex and felt like i known him for years. And granted i needed to get the work done regardless.
After the work was finished he gave me a tour of the repairs he had made. And I was so happy, because not many service people do this anymore, to take the time and walk your customer through what he had done and why it was necessary. Feeling i was informed really made the whole experience.
I would gladly recommend A.M. Plumbing to anyone. And i will use them again for all plumbing needs.

9:45 at night rolls around and I’m finally getting tired of trying to fix my leaking toilet myself and after two failed attempts at reaching my landlord I decided «to hell with it» and went looking for a plumber.
I reached out to two other plumbers prior to finding A.M. Plumbing & Rooter. The first plumber didn’t answer the phone even though they claim to be open until 11. The second one closed at 10 and while he did answer his phone, his truck was locked up in storage and he couldn’t make it until the morning.
Alex agreed to come right over after fully understanding my dire need to get this fixed tonight. He and Charles came in, checked it out and was able to replace the water valve to the toilet so that I can shut off the water from there and turn the water on to the rest of the house.
They were prompt, clean and courteous knowing that my wife and children were sleeping in the rooms right next to the bathroom.

Alex and his partner did a great job fixing both of my toilets whose flapper valves were deteriorating. Great customer service, thorough, and on time. Thanks Alex for letting me be able to use the toilet in my master bedroom again!

First of all, I’m amazed that my phone call was answered after 10 p.m. on a weekend… twice. Customer service wise, there is absolutely nothing to be criticized about Alex and the service he provides.
And as for the service itself, amazing. Alex was friendly, very thorough in describing the problems that I had, and presented a variety of options on how to proceed afterwards (all with price estimates as well). And though the issues I had with this particular pipe was very extensive and required additional action than just the simple snaking that Alex had to do, I was only charged for the work provided (I’ve dealt with other plumbers that would make a mountain of the whole ordeal). Alex was straight forward, efficient and on time (actually, he was EARLY). No complaints, only praise.
When these type of services are required (plumbing, auto, etc.), the most important thing to me is honesty and that’s exactly what I received from Alex. I went to him once, (unfortunately because I didn’t heed the ACCURATE advice that he gave me the first time around) I will be going to him again, and I will continue to use him in the future.

Regulator valve was replaced by another «rated 5-​star plumber» in Unilocal.Top and bottom copper pipe was replaced. Bottom ½″ copper pipe connects to the City’s PVC line. Two months later, the copper and PVC pipe had a leak. I notified the original plumber on Wednesday, but unable to send someone until Monday. I called Monday morning, but they have no avail technician. All these while I’m starting to cause flood on the street. A.M. Plumbing was sub-​contracted out instead. Alex came in after half an hour (he came from another client that night), and was able to fix the issue.
surprised to find out that there are no reviews in Unilocal for this plumber. but then again most of Alex’s client are elderly and they found him in YellowBook.
highly recommended and will use Alex’s service again.
