This is the place to go for custom paddles! I don’t live near him, but he can still be contacted through his facebook page. I told him what I wanted to do and he replied back with a quote that breaks down the prices for each service. I sent him reference photos, and he broke it down to simplify to the shape he would be able to cut the wood to. I kept asking questions and got advice on what would be better to use until I came to a design I wanted. Once I confirmed that everything was the way that I wanted to be, he then repeated everything that I wanted back to me, and included the breakdown of the price. You can then either pay through Paypal or Venmo, and once he gets the payment, he can then start with your order. He has so many styles of engraving, plating, and cut outs that you can choose from, or you can tell him your own custom style, or you can even ask him to think of a new thing himself. He’s very stylish and he knows what looks good. He can also paint it for you(or has a friend who paints it, I’m not sure), at an extra cost. He can also stain your paddle, put LED lights, gloss it, and probably more things that I missed. He also has some letters that you can use to put you and your big/little’s info on it(big bro/big sis/spring/fall/etc). If you don’t live near him, like me, you can also pay for your paddle to be shipped to you, or get a friend to pick it up for you. Prices may very for each unique order, depending on certain factors such as sizes, but here’s what I paid: 3 ft. minimum, $ 25 per feet=$ 75 Greek letter plated cut out=$ 15 Custom handle engraved and plated=$ 35 Gloss and stain=$ 30 He gave me an ETA of 2 weeks 2 days. He took a little longer than the ETA that he gave me, only by 2 days, but I wasn’t really in a rush to get it done so I didn’t mind. He can also be a little slow to respond, like a couple days(unless the both of you are online at the same time), but like I said, I wasn’t in a rush so I didn’t mind. When I received the paddle, everything was EXACTLY the way that I pictured it. The cuts were clean, the paint job was flawless, and it was so even throughout. Yes, it’s a little pricier than your standard paddle BUT I think that it’s totally worth it. Every paddle is unique in its own way and you have control of what you want to do. He’s willing to answer any questions that you have and chat with you about it, even online. He shows you what he’s working with, if you ask, and makes sure that you’re getting exactly what you want.

Was referred to Dang from a friend over a school. After taking a look at all of his great artwork with paddles and other woodwork, I gave him a message about my idea. He quoted me really quickly and although the price is a bit more than what one could pay for a simple paddle, I was really excited to see how it would turn out. Order was placed May 20 and was expected to be ready around June 4. I called and turned out it wasn’t ready yet and I had to wait about a week longer to get it. Drove 40 minutes to pick it up but I was satisfied with the woodwork done. Will definitely bring my business back to him. despite my shallow pockets.
