EXPENSIVE HYDROPONICS SHOULD BE THIER NAME, everything is considerably more than almost every other hydro shop I have ever been to, we use slot of product wether it’s coco or trimming sheers and when we have compared supply costs run to run between discount hydroponics and green past hydroponics we noticed over a 33% difference is expenses, that means for every $ 1000 spent we are literally giving them over $ 300 extra for the same exact products, WORD OF ADVICE PEOPLE «SHOP AROUND A LITTEL DRIVE TO ONTARIO COULD SAVE YOU THOUSANDS!

This place SUCKS!!! About two weeks ago I went here to buy new air stones and an 8 outlet air pump among a few other things. Between my work schedule and home life I was unable to start using the new pump and things I got until Monday April 4^th, everything worked smoothly and I was happy. Today (Thursday April 7^th) upon inspection I noticed that 4 of the 8 outlets on the pump were not pumping air into the buckets, I tried everything short of taking the pump apart to no avail. I then decided to call and attempt to have the problem sorted considering the pump had only been used 3 days before breaking, so I call discount hydro to ask them to fix it. I was told by an unruly employee theres nothing they can do other then send the pump back to the manufacturer, this is the shittiest customer service I’ve ever received! I could understand if I made the purchase months ago, but to only have gotten 2−3days use out of a brand new piece of equipment I feel as though steps should’ve been taken to REPLACE the pump no questions asked. Don’t shop at this place! Goto green coast hydroponics in riverside instead, the prices there are just as good as DH, and they won’t take a flaming hot crap on you if a piece of equipment THEY SOLD YOU was DEFECTIVE!!! IM APPALLED at the lack of help DH was willing to give when the issue was not of my own causing, of all the hydro shops between Big Bear and DH I had plenty of options but drove the extra length on account of doing business with DH for years before moving to California. I’ll never shop here again, in person or on their Internet website, and I urge people to find a BETTER SHOP like green coast where they actually CARE about their customer base and their needs and issues.

Good prices on most stuff. Good variety of products. I wish there was a bigger stock of planting containers.

They are my local go to spot for my garden needs. The staff is helpful. They have grow knowledge and have always worked with me on pricing. I can always find what I need there.

Discount Hydroponics has very reasonable prices (reasonably competitive or lower prices than I’ve seen elsewhere), and extremely helpful staff.
I needed some help with my fruits and vegetables, which I thought might be an uncommon request for a hydroponics store, however I was pleasantly surprised by how informative, nice, enthusiastic and helpful Paul was with me.
