Not a bad place to get raspados but I’ve definitely had much better. Here they fill your cup with mostly ice, and it also has large chunks of it! The flavors don’t really shine through because its diluted down with ice. They also don’t give you a lot of mango chunks with your drink. I ordered the chamango(4.50) which is refreshing on a hot day in riverside but like I said, the flavors were really lacking. You can even see in the picture that the color is very light. Other places that I’ve gotten it at has a more dark red color & much more flavor than this place!

I have been to this place a few times now and yesterday’s visit to this local business will be my last one. Although this place has good prices and good raspado flavors, my experience with the manager was a very unpleasant one. He was very standoffish towards me when I kindly asked him to only fill my cup with a little bit of «shaved» ice with hope he’d be willing to comply with my request. My reason behind this specific request is because the ice is very chunky and the raspado flavored juice poured over the ice only allows for a maximum of 10 sips before I am left with just a cup full of ice. He took this request a bit too personal by stating in an angry tone of voice reminding me, «It’s called a raspado for a reason. I need to add extra ice to it.» I clearly understood what I ordered and I kept reminding him I wanted very minimum ice added. He kept insisting to add more ice to my rasapado by stating, «The more ice I add to your ‘raspado’ the more flavor I add to it.» He clearly is aware of his ice not being the best texture for raspados as the girl who ordered before me also asked for little ice. The manager whispered to one of his employees in a jokingly and sarcastic manner that they were just going to pack her cup with ice. He was also rude to my boyfriend when he simply asked for cup covers for his raspados during check out as the manager stated, «Cover tops are for little kids. Raspados don’t get covers.» As a side note and other occasions, cup cover tops have never been an issue before at this place. The manager at El Raspadito is not approachable with his unfriendly attitude, customer service, and rude remarks. He needs to be more accommodating to customers and less stingy with his raspado juices. It is a hit and miss with the manager’s customer service.

Place is good but it’s not shaved ice. More like chunks of ice. Manager is extremely rude. Won’t be coming here again.

Great/fast Service and delicious raspados with lots of flavor. Best Tostilocos in the area, that Iv tried . Snowcones are 2.50 $ and up which is totally worth it. Great place to bring the kids on a warm day.

Coconut raspado is the way to go. Always so fresh. The staff is extremely clean. I don’t want to try any other place just because I love this one so much

Very good place to try! I tried the Chamango which was very good and also the Esquite. Finally a place that doesn’t use frozen corn! Lol The staff was very friendly and efficient. I even got a sample. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

I actually would love to give this place 5 stars because it’s delicious but it definitely lacks in customer service. Working in the service industry it’s always always a good goal to make your customers feel comfortable somewhere(especially their first time, so they come back). This was not the case however, my mom and I stopped by and decided to try this place out, since we saw it before but didn’t have time to stop. We got there a little confused and not really sure how this place worked and were just ignored by the young ladies who were working. They proceeded to help everyone behind us. My mom and I started looking at each other wondering if we were in the right place or what was going on and I started looking at them and one of the girls slightly rude told us to stand behind this other lady. It was just super awkward and uncomfortable to be blatantly ignored when we were clearly standing behind the lady they had last helped. I’ve never been treated like that and for my mom to experience that on her bday was such a buzz kill. Like I said I wish I could give this place 5 stars because the shaved ice is good, but customers service goes a long way in getting people to come back to your establishment. Not sure if it was discrimination related or if it was just employees being rude, kind of seemed like we were slightly being discriminated against.

Best raspados! I’ll drive from Redlands, CA like twice a week to get the Nuez con Coco(walnut w/coconut). The place is clean & their staff is always really friendly.

I really enjoy their lime respados it’s so fresh and delicious. The service is usually good but once in a while not depends on who is working. The high mark is for the product not the service.

I’m not Mexican, yet I do fall in the whole spicy fruit and raspado place. The nice thing here is that you can mix and match flavors on your raspado. The place is clean, prices are fair. Two stars off for being cash only and that there is no where to sit and eat inside. For a desert place, you figure that the AC would be on but it can get hot inside with all the people waiting in line. Well if there’s a AC, I didn’t feel it. Grab and go is ok with me.

Love their raspados! Their really good and the consistency is perfect. They are not watery or have too much ice. They’re perfect I would recommend this place yo anyone who wants a natural raspado. 4 stars because I still have to try the rest of the stuff

Tried this place out for the first time today. the customer service was awesome! the one gentleman behind the counter made many different samples for us to try, he took his time mixing different flavors trying to find one that we liked. The only thing I didn’t like was the big chunks of ice, raspados are supposed to have fine shaved ice but it really wasn’t a big deal ultimately the raspados were delicious and we will be coming back to try other items from the menu. I also liked that its a small mom and pop business :)

Pico de gallo was okay. Fruit tasted a bit old. There was only one person working, which made the wait a bit long. If your on your lunch be aware of that. The cucumber was a little on the brown side and slightly soggy.

Love love love! It honestly doesn’t get better than this! And I’ve tried many other shaved ice places. This is by far the best. From the extensive variety of flavors to the amazing service… two thumbs up!(My kids love to mix two flavors together) can’t wait to go back :)

I was a regular here until they were really rude and acted like I was in the wrong. I ordered my usual and the coconut was rancid. I ALWAYS get the same thing every time and the coconut milk is always sweet and delicious. This time it was as if it was going bad. I was already on my way home when I took my first sip and it tasted rancid. I drive back and I tell the girl that it is bad. I was really nice because I frequent there. But all she did was stare at me and she asked what was wrong I told her again for the second time the coconut is bad. She asked why I didn’t say anything before? With an attitude. After repeating my problem for the third time, The second girl comes out and asks me what was wrong I told her and explain to her once more my raspado was bad. They both now took the time to sample it and told me it was fine. They even knew it was my usual! They offered me some but I was so irritated with them giving me attitude and acting like I was wrong. So I said no to the rancid coconut milk they were fakely enjoying One of the girls leans into the other girls ear in Spanish and says«Es que no le gusto!»(She just didn’t like it) honestly, this kind of unprofessionalism was unecessary. My family frequents here and they will no longer be coming here. You girls could’ve simply said«SORRY, WOULDYOULIKEANOTHER.» that would have just been fine with me instead of having you guys waste my time trying to prove me wrong and show me how your customer service skills are very poor. The coconut milk was rancid. Period. Meaning it was bad. Health Inspectors would love to hear about rancid coconut milk being sold. I’m glad they hire people with poor customer service skills who obviously don’t know what to do in situations like this. You have lost a loyal customer. ***My other family member had visited a day before my visit and mentioned that her raspado, which is the exact same thing I get, tasted a bit rancid but very subtle. But she noticed the raspado was not delicious as usual? So does this mean the juices they use are not made FRESHDAILY and the old juice from the prior shifts are re-used? Gross! Never again.

I got my «El Raspadito» cherry popped for the first time. I came here unexpectedly after one of their competitors was closed. I’m glad I did. I couldn’t believe someone could make a raspado taste so much different than another. Whenever I go to a new place like this I always order the sure thing that I know I will like or will help me determine whether this place is good or not. The coconut raspado is what I ordered. I’m glad I ordered the small cause this thing was loaded! I wish I would have snapped a picture of the big chunks of real coconut in my raspado but I was so damn excited to eat it! They give you a huge diameter straw as well so that you are able to slurp some of the delicious fruit chunks that they give you in the raspados. My small raspado came out to $ 3.50 total. Reading other reviews I don’t believe they accept«plastic» payments so make sure and bring cash just in case. I had $ 5 on me so I didn’t run into that problem.

I came about a minute before 8 which apparently is the official closing time which I realize is cutting it close but there was still people inside and I walked in and they told me it was closed. Which is fine but at least lock the door then. Also the time here on Unilocal is wrong. Also the service was very rushed and the lady seemed frustrated.
