Expensive Habits

Great cut. I tried a new look. The barber used a straight shaver to leave me extra fresh. He also hooked my curls up with the sponge. Nice shop & nice location as well. Definitely recommend.

They take their time and make sure their cuts are precise. Showed up with no appointment and had no wait at all. All the barbers seem like really down to earth people. Will definitely be back!

This was our first time here. One of my friends recommended it because she takes her son here, as well. While we were waiting, we saw another one of my friends with her two sons. This place seems very popular and now I know why. They do a great job! We are definitely coming back!

Have known Danny for years and trust when he says he has great barbers working for him. Took my son in on Saturday to get his hair cut and it came out amazing! Thank you J and Danny. We will be coming back. Granted my son wasn’t too happy to be getting his hair cut, but I loved it.

Yung barber Marco Bardales does it again! He keeps it fresh and professional. The spot is poppin with lots of conversation and good vibes. Marco is fresh out of barber school so he knows all the new trends and styles. He’s been the homie for a while and it’s good to see him from cutting hair in his room to being a professional in a shop.

Worst customer service ever! I took my son here to her a hair cut and they didn’t even acknowledge that we were there. We waited for over thirty minutes while other people who came in after us got hair cuts. As I got up irritated they finally asked me if we were waiting for a hair cut and I told them we were but we are now leaving. I have taken my son there a few times before and he loved getting his hair cut there, but never again. I hate getting ignored.

These guys can cut all types of hair and they do it well. I typically go to Sal and he always gives me the best cut I can get. I’ve moved recently and tried two other barbers since and no one has taken care of me the same. I will be making trips back to riverside just to go to Sal.

The stylist Dotty is very unprofessional having male clients in the shop after midnight. It doesn’t take 10 hours to do anything to anyone’s head no matter how bad it is. Makes me wonder what else goes on here after hours…

First time there was last Monday June 30^th. Words can not explain the amount of praise and respect I have for Danny. He is definitely a man who understands his craft and makes it into an art. The wait time was normal, they do accept appointments and walkins, so I imagine if you have an appointment you won’t wait nearly as long as I did. I waited about 30mins, but time flew by. They have music, conversation, and plenty of magazines.
Danny definitely took his time and made light but humerus conversation. The prices are easy enough:
The line up — $ 5 basic clean line up
The Cesar — $ 15 basic cut all one length no tapper/​fade (includes the line up)
The Trim — $ 15 nothing off the top just taper and fade the sides and back (includes the line up)
Relaxer — $ 45 — jerry
Premium cuts — $ 25 — designs and fohawk etc…
Now, the prices may very depending on the barber, each barber has their own schedule and their own booking service through
. Each indicated price above has 15−20% increase depending on what you want done and who’s gonna do it. Danny was cool enough to honor the listed price inside the shop.
So why the four stars, for one they don’t accept debit or credit cards. Two, I felt bad that the prices aren’t consistent. I made my next appointment so I don’t have to wait, but then realized I may have either underpaid or under tipped. I’m sure they just haven’t gone through hassle of updating their poster out front, but you wanna’ feel like you’re taking care of your barber, because they are takin’ care of you. I’m definitely to goin’ back, and I will definitely be a regular.

Flawless cuts, time and time again. Best barbershop in the IE. Consistency! I recommend to anyone looking for a good cut every time they go in.

Great barbershop I have known the owner Danny for years since he was at Getting Faded barbershop. He was just a lil guy at 19 years young cutting hair and cutting it PERFECT not to mention he’s a great professional. I would recommend anyone looking for a fresh clean cut, line up, design and all the above!
