Just left this Game Stop and this was the worst experience I have ever had. My husband and I were rushing to get me an Xbox One before they closed. Got in the store at 6:55 when they close at 7pm. I knew exactly what I wanted. Xbox one with the division. The person I dealt with was rude and kept saying you know we’re closing. I was well aware but being that I knew what I wanted I thought we would be quick. They had a sign up saying $ 50 gift card with purchase. I was super excited, being that the system is already expensive. When he rang it up he said. Oh I’m sorry that offer expired yesterday and we haven’t taken the signs down. My husband and I were trying to make a decision on what we wanted to do and he interrupted and said I’m sorry we’re closing. We felt pressured but we bought it anyway. Then he looked at me and said. You know you need an Xbox live account. I informed him I’ve had mine for years. Insulted and super ticked off we got our Xbox and left. I will be calling corporate. UPDATE: I contacted corporate through an email. The store manager called me within 48 hours explaining how sorry she was and there was no reason why we should have been treated that way. She spoke with the associate and explained to him on how to speak to people. She is also honoring the $ 50 gift card and I can pick it up at my earliest convenience. Very professional. She was very upset when she found out how I was treated.

Small location that’s crammed with«customers» who are there more to just look than to actually buy. I guess I’m one of those, but that’s just because the inventory is horrible here so they don’t have what I’m looking for. Just avoid this GameStop and try another, larger one. At least then you can move around inside!

always busy, ppl not friendly, not very helpful with questions or any kind of reassurance, in fact ive seen some ppl be belittled about their gamer experience. good stock though.

It is what it is. I’m just glad Xbox is still putting out 360 games I’m not going to upgrade just yet. The Xbox one is not backwards compatibile with all my 360 games.

Woah. This is my least favorite Gamestop. The«customer service» I received here sucked. I was very much taken aback by this because I’ve been to so many other Gamestops and the people that work there have always been very helpful and courteous. The guy that assisted me gave the impression that I was wasting his time. What? The reason you receive a paycheck is because you’re supposed to assist customers & answer questions. All I got from this guy was condescending aloofness and a lot of hand gestures. The next day I went to another Gamestop location(Lake Elsinore) and the rep offered to look up my account and resolve the issue. The rep at the Tyler Mall location didn’t even bother to make eye contact. This Gamestop location provided such a weird and awful experience. I won’t be returning to this location.

Cool place to hang out staff there is nice the only problem is that it’s a small store and when it gets crowded you bump into people

They gave me the wrong disc. Lame. They were nice about trading it but I wish the guy who helped me would’ve paid more attention to getting the right game instead of trying to sell me the GameStop Edge card or whatever the heck they’re calling it. Ok and the complaint while valid, is kind of silly. They«gut» the games to have cases out on the floor but the discs behind the counter. Something like that. It’s still a new game as in, no one has played it before you. Unless you need the excitement of ripping off that stubborn cellophane than… uh, go to Best Buy! Trade in values stink, and employees seem to know less and less every time I come to a GameStop, and they are constantly trying to sell you something.

For my 1−8-7th review I’d like to wish to it to this company: Gamestop. Sadly again it seems to be a running trend with all Gamestops: the advertisement of «New» games that ALL are already opened. I cannot wrap my head around this business practice but apparently there are enough kids leeching their clueless parents for money that such a practice seems to be encouraged. If you want some actual NEW games, go somewhere else. Sure the attendant can show you the disk, the manual, and the rest that goes with it, but it is mostly just a game someone else returned from having played it already. Buying«NEW» from here is just another way of helping their business from losing money on a used return. Don’t believe me? Go compare how much a «used» copy of the same new release costs. I can imagine it’s because the used copy was brought back or returned with a scratch on it making it unable to be pawned off as ‘new’ again to some clueless sucker.
