Guzman Richard, MD

I was in the market for a new primary care physician and I chose Dr. Guzman since his office is close to my apartment. He was extremely unprofessional, condescending, and did not address any of my ailments. It took me over an hour before I even saw him after the front office lost my paperwork.
I strongly urge you to choose another doctor and avoid Dr. Guzman at all costs.

the staff and dr has dropped the ball on me so many times on follow up procedures and when i needed surgery i had it out with him and called the provider and told them on more than a few occasions of poor follow through i have left this dr after years of the same old same old. His defense is to blame everything on everyone else. Takes alot to anger me to the point i was with this guy. once it took over a year to get a heart procedure because they dropped the ball, 7 months another one. This is not the guy you want taking care of you if your having problems. He is fine for in house calls that need no follow up. His manner of Childish temper has shown more than once if you question him about things is crazy. If he does not have time to do follow ups, he should cut his list to healthy patients. Really i admit i lost it with this guy .I have several other wonderful drs i see them and thir staffs are a mile above what goes on here.

No problems, my entire family goes to this Doctor.

Awful, Deplorable, abject failure to respond.
This doctor will not help you when you need it most!
After years of insurance with Dr. Guzman as our primary care physician, the office did not bother to return not one or two, but three days of phone messages. Finally when i got through during business hours, they refused to see me because i was in an auto accident and could not pay all fees up front! I offered the responsible party’s name, insurance, and adjuster contact numbers, they were not interested even after checking directly with Dr. Guzman… apparently the oath he took to help, is not as important as reimbursement, or even the time it takes to wait for payment.
My family has been going here for years, i will never go.
