Been in the area for over a year but it was our first time here! Food was great, I did not see spicy orange chicken on the menu but the waitress told me she could have it made… It was spicy, crunchy and the sauce was the best! We will be back. The only thing that could of been a little better was the fried rice… But it was still good. The waitress was so friendly and invited us to come back.

Food is good but they use dirty dishes. I guess they need to hire a new dish cleaning employee.

We are here last night because we thought 2 weeks ago the place was really good. No egg drop soup… of which we came there for and my Fiancé’s drink has a fly in it. The server said, «Oh sorry, I’ll get you a new one». To which we say, «We’ll get a new place to eat as well». Soooo gross!

Jasmine Garden R.I.P. because you are now dead to me! I used to really like this place and would have given it 4 stars but it has really gone down hill. My most recent $ 30 take-out order for my wife and I(which is not cheap and I work hard for $ 30) was a big disappointment: The Orange Chicken was dark brown and overcooked, probably from being re– heated too many times. The Spicey Salt & Pepper Pork Chops were not as good as usual. The House Chow Mein was skimpy in the meat(I didn’t pay $ 8.45 for a bunch of noodles… oh wait yes I did)! And to add insult to injury the lady who rang up my order was cold, bordering on rude. She definitely has no business working in any type of job that requires her to interact with people. I know you’re struggling to stay in business Jasmine Garden, but cutting cost and sacrificing quality is not the way to do it.

This place is not that good. The freshness of their food is questionable. There are better places in the vicinity.

For a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, they gave us much larger portions than most similar restaurants, the food was reasonably priced and the staff was friendly. It’s not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but it was decent. They accept AMEX cards as well.

Found a cooked fly in chow mein. We hadn’t noticed it until my husband crunched down on it. When I returned to the restaurant and showed it to the manager; his excuse was, «it’s fly season, and people walk in a lot». Hey, how about putting lids on your food?!

Lately this place has really gone downhill. The place has become very dirty and the tables are sticky. The carpet looks so gross and there was a huge cockroach walking around and the waitress swept him outside when we showed her. yuck

Don’t recommend this place !!! Waitresses are a good help but the owner is a F****** joke ! We tried ordering something without onion because someone was allergic to it and the owner choose not to make it because he said he was busy He was just sitting around doing nothing That’s how you lose customers !

This is pretty much the closest Asian restaurant to me, and I’m still pretty new to the area so I went in with high hopes that it would become a new regular spot for me. I was unfortunately, so wrong because one after the other, dishes came out just the minimal«meh». We ordered the Family Dinner C, $ 12.97/person. comes with: – the Pu-Pu Appetizer(this was actually the most decent part of the whole meal. but it was simply veggie eggrolls(that I didn’t like), cream cheese wontons, some foil chicken thing, and some beef on a stick with a flame in the middle), – your choice of steamed rice or fried rice(which was basically rice cooked with soy sauce and very tiny pieces of carrots) ‚ – seafood soup(that was super bland), – and your choice of the items listed in the section … we chose to substitute an item for a lesser valued item because I wanted the Mongolian beef(which is listed in dinner B– this is how I usually judge a Chinese restaurant because Mongolian beef is super basic to make — and this place failed so badly at it, was almost inedible and that’s coming from someone that eats pretty much anything and everything) and shrimp in lobster sauce(I tasted no lobster sauce, in fact, this taste the same as the bland seafood soup only with some shrimp) Not only was food just«meh», service was also«meh». Waitress, although were friendly, weren’t very attentive but I think that’s because they were all over the place doing a million things(I even saw our waitress in the back washing dishes, then coming out to take orders and bringing out orders, so I don’t blame her for the slow service, hence why I gave the 2 star rating). The ambiance was out-dated like a greasy old Chinese restaurant from the 80s, it had weird colored floors, with old seat benches that wobbled throughout the entire meal, and it was very dimly lit in there. Also, connected to the restaurant is their little to-go spot which was very confusing to me when I was trying to find the entrance to the restaurant itself. They served a few of the same items on the menu but just premade and sitting under a heat lamp. I should have looked closer at the items before actually sitting inside the restaurant because on my way out I glanced at the food and it looked exactly the same as what I ordered and just as unappetizing. Will I come here again? Nope. Definitely NOPE.

I’ve loved Jasmine Garden’s food and staff for years! I’ve been going there for so long with my family… But the newer waitress Olga is RUDE! Very unpleasant both on the phone and in person. Also, I ordered a takeout soup, and when I got home I realized it was barely ¾ of the way full. Not what I paid for. May not return as frequently as I used to

DONOTGOHERE! I called them to make a take out order, and the lady who answered the phone put me on hold. Only she didn’t put the phone on hold, she just set it down. So I could here everything going on in the background. I listened as she proceeded to help SEVERAL walk in customers. Now I understand if you have a customer in front of you as I call, I’ll need to wait, not a problem. But after she took care of that customer, she proceeded to take the next customer, leaving me there to listen. And if that wasn’t enough, she proceeded to help the customer after that. It became a joke with my wife, so we waited just to see how long it would take to answer. SHENEVERANSWERED! Terrible customer service. It was actually laughable.

This place used to be better when they let you order take out combos but they do not longer do that. They brought it back for about 2 months but then took it away yet again. Regardless of the take out option, the food itself is decent at best. They want to charge 7.99 and up on mediocre food. This owner of this place is confused and thinks he’s running a 5 star chinese cuisine kitchen. The only reason im giving this place 2 stars is for what it used to be and also the fact that their wor wonton soup is pretty good. If you want better chinese food just go straight to golden chopsticks on limonite or canton on university and Chicago if that’s closer. Dont waste your time here.

Excellent Asian food. Large portions. Healthy preparation. Highly recommend. Second time here, will always return. Owner is a Marine! Semper Fi! Good menu choices hard to decide.

This place is horrible! First off the waitress or lets just say the girl behind the cash register got our order completely wrong! It was way over priced! We paid about $ 35 for orange chicken, shrimp fried rice and beef chow mein. The customer service sucked, the food was mediocre and I will never eat here again! For that much money I could’ve taken my family to Taco Bell and ice cream afterwards. Never again! Food sucks, overly priced and customer service sucks!!! DO not eat here!
