Massage Envy – Riverside Central

I am updating a review I made a week ago regarding poor customer service. Issue was that I was penalized for canceling an appointment for massage I had made for the same day for a half an hour prior to canceling; I had a family emergency, and had to rush my dog off the emergency vet. The manager was not sympathetic, and was not flexible. HOWEVER, today, the GM, Carla, personally called me to make it right. She took the time to hear me out, and gave me back my penalty fee, plus extended the invitation back to their location. She apologized, and said she wanted to know how I’d like this fixed. I am a fair person, so I just asked for what I was charged. She has returned that to my account, and asked me to contact her anytime I have a problem. So far, I feel that the GM has done what was correct to resolve the problem, and am happy that she called me to rectify the situation. I hope to continue to my relationship w massage envy on Central. I overall have been very satisfied w their services, and will go back:)

I had a great massage today done by Angie, the perfect amount of pressure, movement everything!
I had gotten a massage previously at massage green and I was wide awake the whole time didn’t feel anything I’m so happy I came here.
It’s hard to get me to fully relaxed but during and after my massage I felt so relaxed I just wanted to go straight to sleep.
She was working on all my knots which is great and she wasn’t pushy on sales either, love that.
I definitely recommend her and I will definitely book with her again!

Just had a hot stone massage with Kandis. It was by far the most amazing massage I have had in my life. I’m on cloud nine and ready for a nap!

The first impression to the massage world has been nothing but excellent thank you to Shay &jasmine at this location. Very prompt in calling me back after a voicemail, patient with me finding their location and beautiful, friendly faces when I come through the door. Jasmine made me amazing with an upper body targeted massage and Shay up front made me feel welcome and took the time to explain all the paxakages available. I signed me and my boyfriend up for their monthly services and opportunities and I know we won’t be disappointed! Thank you again ladies!

I received a gift card for Mother’s Day to massage envy in riverside, ca off of central. I had a lot of knots and tension. I received massage therapist Malcolm. He is by far the best massage therapist I ever had. I sighed up for the membership and can’t wait to get another one. I will be for sure requesting him again. The staff is super friendly. Thank you massage envy. Best Mother’s Day ever.

I’ve been a member before and have visited a few locations including in northern CA. I really like this location better than the other one in Riverside. I felt like the customer service was better from the get go, which made a big difference to me. I was able to schedule my prenatal massage and facial within a week. When I arrived I had the fill in the usual forms and then I was asked if I wanted to sit in the tranquility room. The chairs were comfy in there :) I was called by Denise first for my facial and she did an excellent job! She has a nice touch for facials and she gave me good advice about my skin. Kari was my next stop and she helped make sure I was super comfortable for my prenatal massage. It was so awesome I nearly fell asleep! I thought the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. I would definitely return and request Denise and Kari again.

I’ve been going to Jessica at Riverside /​central Massage Envy since November 2015.
I had started out at a different location, and had to much trouble trying to find someone I liked that had a schedule that worked with me. When I called Riverside Jessica came highly recommended and I totally agree she is fantastic!
My skin has made so much improvement, since she’s been working with me. Thank you thank you thank you I love my skin now, my husband has been creepily staring at my face (with love) he’s just so amazed at the transformation in the last couple months.
My husband and I also indulged in a couple’s massage last month and it was life changing.
Ashley worked with me that day and Cy had worked with my husband. My husband was so satisfied with his massage he’s begging for another.
One thing about this location I like more then any other is that the lights can be hand adjusted, AND turn all the way up so I can see while I’m collecting my things to leave.
Love this place.

Just had a wonderful facial! Stephanie is new here and she did an outstanding job, two masks, extractions and hand and arm massages! Heavenly !!

I will start off saying this place is clean from reception, to your private massage room, the waiting room and restroom. I hadn’t had a massage in over 4 years due to busy mom schedule. My masseuse Ashley was amazing. She made sure to hit the points I pointed out. You will leave feeling relaxed & rested. Thanks again to the receptionist & staff for my wonderful experience.

Seriously the best massage I have had in a long time!
I just moved back to the IE & have been searching for a new masseuse & I had the pleasure of being booked with Alexis. She was fantastic! Perfect pressure, used her hands more than her elbows. It was heaven! Needless to say, I rebooked for next month. Can’t wait to see her again.
I also received a facial from Jessica. She was great as well. My skin is beautifully polished & she was nice enough to tell me about the current promotions.
All in all, a great experience. Much better than the experience I have received at the Eastvale clinic which is closer to my home.

This Massage Envy has an amazing staff! I love getting both my massages and my facials there Jessica is who I have my facials with and she is incredible, I highly recommend her.

I have a lot of pain and she did a deep tissue and the pressure was hard exactly what I needed .

Yesterday I had a hot stone massage for 90
Minutes by Jennifer. It was wonderful!!! Very clean, professional and proper draping technique as well. I loved it and will be back again and again!

I go to massage envy every 3 weeks to get facials from Lela, and they are INCREDIBLE!
She has literally changed my skin. I have never felt as confident as I do now! I will say though, that you should definitely use the Murad products they recommend in between facials so it up keeps the hard work they do during the session. Jessica is amazing as well! I’ve been to every location in the corona/​riverside area, and this is by far the best one. (they also have cookies to the lounge). I am a member for life!

The messeuse my boyfriend had did a good job. The masseuse I had was very sweet, made me feel comfortable, and did an OK job, however, seemed inexperienced compared to far better massages I’ve gotten from other places.
What completely put me off to this place is the sales-​y approach before and most especially after our massage. My boyfriend and I just wanted to go for a day of relaxation, which I disclosed in the beginning. Right after our massage, the girl started going over membership prices and SO MUCH information about who knows what — it COMPLETELY ruined the experience for me and I felt my stress coming right back after we came there for a massage to destress! Appalling. Will not be returning.
I’ve worked in sales my whole life and in all areas, including wellness/​fitness, but there is a time/​place and way of doing things that the sales people here do not seem to get.
