MDS Floor Covering

Felix, Jaime, Manny. You guys are Awesome. You arrived on time. Felix you are a Man of your Word. I was Worried about the baseboard Guys review. I immediately called Felix, he assured me that he would send me photos of his finished flooring projects. That put me at ease. He did follow thru, and the photos were beautiful. Getting back to my install, so they got to work all about the flooring. Felix estimated the job would be 8 to 4. He confirmed their arrival time between 8 and 9 am. he called at 8:35 good timing. We did have to stop because we ran out of material. Oops, No problem. I live 7 minutes from the store. Felix to the rescue! He jumped into his hefty white Van and off he went. Back in a Flash. Literally. They finished my job. I clocked it. 2:30. They were cleaning up and the crew was out of sight. Felix and I were small talking and Wishing each other Happy Holidays. I can Honestly say. This Guy Felix. Yes I would Personally Recommend If You Want Flooring. Felix, Manny, Jaime, Did Mine Right. Thanks to This MDS Crew!

Do yourself a huge favor and keep looking for another company to install your floors. This company came to my house as a contractor for Lumber Liquidators. I will start by saying the floor they installed looks okay other than the paint they pulled our the walls when removing my base boards, but I keep asking myself if it was worth it. This was the most stressful home improvement project I have ever had done. The quote visit went fine, was a little surprised at the cost, it is more than the flooring. I should have known day one when they (2 workers) walked in the house and I could smell alcohol oozing out of someone’s pores. They start working and begin to complain how hard it is to take out the old flooring. Then they tell me I need to rent a machine at Home Depot to help them take it out. I ask why they don’t have this machine and really get no answer. I get the machine and then they say it doesn’t work and I have to take it back (thanks Home Depot, they did not charge me). They work eight hours and only remove about 300 sq ft of floor. Next day they come back, it starts off well, going much faster. Then about two hours in the main guy (Jose), tells me they’re going to get something to drink. After an hour, only the other worker comes back, says Jose is at Home Depot, don’t see Jose again for six hours. I called the company and spoke to Juan (says he is the owner). I ask where Jose is and he says he will check and call me back. Never calls back and then won’t answer my follow up call. By now I am so angry but I just want them to finish, this job could be done by now. They come back the third day, over an hour later than they said they would be here, again smelling like alcohol. It takes almost all day to finish, said they would be done by twelve. At the end I have about 20 boxes of flooring that Jose tells me is extra that he is going to take back, I have to call Lumber Liquidators to prove I payed for those boxes. These men were so shady, I’m almost afraid there will be a backlash for the way it went down, I told them and Lumber Liquidators how I felt about the experience. Lastly, if Spanish is your first language and you assume an English speaking person can’t understand what you are saying, think again. I heard and understood what you said. Also, don’t assume because I am a woman, I don’t know that you are trying to take advantage of me, I am not stupid. Lying to you’re customer is not a good business practice.

So far the customer service is horrible. Not on time for the estimate and so far an hour and forty five minutes lates for the actual install. I will update when the installation is actually done with the quality of the work but so far I’m not impressed at all.
