Ray did my undercut on my hair. The shop was very welcoming. First time and I will definitely be back there team is great. Looking for quality cuts an skills in your local town by far the best barber shop to visit. Give them a shot they will prove my review true

I took my boys ages 7 and 11 to get their hair cut today, the barbershop is very clean and and the barbers are very welcoming. My boys liked the barbers who cut their hair, they changed the music (which wasn’t bad or offensive) just because they thought it was appropriate to do so which was very nice, I’m giving them 3 stars because even though they had great customer service the haircut was WAY over priced each child was $ 25 not including tip and the haircuts were not amazing just a basic cut and line-​up my younger son’s hair is not even (which I didn’t notice until we were already home) and around his ears isn’t a clean cut like we are used to for half the price. Sorry guys you seem to be great guys and I saw another customer walk out with an incredible design !! but as for us, we won’t be back.

Since I moved from LA to the IE I could never find a barber that could cut my hair just right. I stumbled upon Nappy Roots and was skeptical like I am with all new barber shops. I called and Ray Sr answered the phone and said come on in we will take care of you. I looked at some of the pictures of the haircuts that were added to Unilocal and felt more comfortable. After arriving I waited a bit and then explained to Ray Sr what I wanted and he was very polite and kept asking questions to make sure he was following my orders. Since my first haircut here I have made myself a regular and the environment is family friendly. For anyone looking for a good barber I highly recommend Nappy Roots. They have their own parking lot, clean, always have good music playing and you will not mind waiting because the conversation is always good.

Not your regular barber. They really want you to be comfortable with your cut. They fix other barber mistakes, make recommendations, wash your hair, sponge, etc. Whatever you need, you will get here. The best cut in town, and possibly Cali. Highly recommended!

I found this barber shop through Unilocal since I am not from the area, I was looking for a good barber shop and I went off the reviews and I have to say it is kinda hidden near the galleria mall but it is really friendly environment and I am satisfied with my haircut that ray hooked it up with. It’s a bit pricy but so worth it. I highly recommend it if your looking for a new barber or just need a cut but not from the area.

Best barber shop in town! Family owned and operated! I’ve been coming here getting cut by Ray the man for nearly 12 years. Recently expanded providing an array of services for men and women.

I recommend Nappy Roots to anyone looking for a new shop or wants something better! My cuts are always on point, And I never leave disappointed. You can’t go wrong with either of the Ray’s. I’ve been getting my haircut from Ray the man since 04′ and I won’t let anyone else cut my hair unless it’s Ray Ray. Y’all need to get familiar and come to Nappy Roots!

I am REALLY picky with barbers, I needed a new barber after moving here and I heard good stuff about this place, I decided to try it out, I am happy I did. It’s the first and only place I’ll be coming. Great atmosphere, family run, family fun, and most importantly, barbers who know how to cut hair! I was happy with my first cut by Jonathan and tried Ray this time. Both do good. Ray IV cuts with perfect precision, a skill that was impossible to find in LA. Ray also has a rewards card where every 10^th cut is free! That is how you keep a customer! Nappy Roots is the only spot you need if you want your hair done right.

My husband went and got a haircut. And he was very pleased he said he found his new barbershop and new barber Johnathan.
